I made the mistake of listening to Jeremy Fragrance and purchased Light Blue Intense. I just can't get into it. I'm not crazy about the original either, because it doesn't last. To me, they smell like body sprays ftom Bath and Body works. My favorite scents are Narciso Poudre, and Coco Mademoiselle. Now those I can wear all day...Poudre when I feel like an elegant Lady, and Mademoiselle, when I need elegant, boss-like confidence! Thank you for your reviews!
I feel like Jeremy Fragrance has steered a lot of us towards regretable purchases. I noticed that pretty early on with him and stopped tuning into his reviews ✋🛑
I loved my original version, but you're right it doesn't last as long as I wanted.. I loved the smell tho since it's humid here in the Philippines it sure does smell really fresh :))
Perfumes, with all their most important aspects ( how much they last, how much a note tend to be intense, how acidic they could be perceived to the nose etc. ) tend to be linked to your specific skin (pH, skin bacterial metabolism, level of pollutants in the air that can combines with your perfume etc ). This is a major why a perfume can appear something on someone and something very different on someone else's body. SO PLEASE when you're choosing your favourite perfume, before buying it, is fundamental having a sampler and trying it on your skin a few days in your daily conditions of life. Don't waste your money and cuddle yourself with the right scent for you! :)
Perfumes that smell cheap to me: 1. Masked by alot of perfumer's alcohol 2. Masked by bergamot (that note just really kills any fragrance) 3. Perfumes that smell like straight up sugar and water
@@nancymarkiewicz8123 lol apart from its ability to make perfumes last longer I really dont know why they put patchouli in perfumes, it's Definately not a good business move since majority of people can't tolerate patchouli especially the deeper dirtier notes.
I like to smell cheap 🤣 and expensive. I had all kinds of perfumes. Cheap, Expensive, Moderate. Body mists from everywhere. I don't discriminate. My scense of smell is ever changing too. I love it this year. Next year, I hate it, I end up giving it away or selling it. Then I will buy it again. Viscous never ending. It just suites me and what I in the mood for. Cassilli dupe, my husband loves it, Angel Nova. I love it lol. Dylan Blue turquoise. I just didn't like it. I LOVE the bottle. Dylan Blue Original is a like for me. Every body has different tastes 💐 Great video 👍.
I agree with you about L'Imperatrice and Dylan Turquoise ... but I have to admit I do kinda enjoy Mugler Angel Nova because of the lychee and rose combination. 😊 ... wore it a lot during the summer. I love these critical videos from you even when we don't agree. 💕
I find Alien super cheap smelling and no one would ever understand that because my reference is CULTURAL. I grew up in Rio, Brazil and I know that smell from a 90's cheap hair product or deodorant ....I just can't remember exactly which one it was. But it's known for being CHEAP and not great. I HATE that smell SO MUCH HAHAHA.
Glad I'm not alone on this one! Hahaha I see so many RUclipsrs who are CRAZY about Alien....I will never understand! And it's not about smelling vintage, really. I do love some vintage perfumes...really nothing against them...I have some that I feel like I smell like a rich evil boss grandma hahaha. But Alien to me is just TERRIBLE and cheap.
I can’t believe how many people love Alien. I don’t get it. To me it’s awful. I guess to be 100% sure I hate it, I would need to smell it on someone else. I really enjoy Angel edt though.
I couldn't agree more with your thoughts on PDM fragrances, I don't even think any of the Delina's smell that interesting or worth the price. They honestly just remind me of those fruity/floral Escada perfumes from back in the early 2000's (which I USED to love back in high school). Can you do a video on easy reaches for fall/winter? I'd love to see which ones you would chose! Designer and Niche, not necessarily one or the other! Would probably be more Designer based because sometimes Niche aren't always the easiest reaches. Thank you, you are so beautiful, and have the most amazing hair ever!
I’ve tried about 75% of the perfumes you’ve mentioned and feel the same as you. I’ve tried CH Good Girl and its many flankers and none have connected with my nose. So disappointed in the Juliette Has a Gun line. MMMM and Not a Perfume are the only ones I enjoy. Fun video, Yana. I don’t feel so alone in my universe of rejected scents 😅
I haven't tested most of these but I agree re.: L'Imperatrice and Miss Dior 2021. Perfumes are expensive and the prices are forever going up. There's seriously no excuse for them to smell like sketchy swill into the non-bargain.
I have a really difficult time finding fresh, summer fragrances that are non-cloying while not being entirely boring, and really wanted to love L'Imperatrice. It smelled like a wine cooler to me, just artificial and way too syrupy sweet.
I agree with L'Imperatrice 3. I don't understand the hype. Yes, it is suitable for Summer but I still think they shouldn't added a zesty note to it for example to give it more body or something.
I think most of the hype is the fact that it smells better than most body sprays and can be found under 30 bucks. Hell I found a full 100ml bottle for 19 bucks. So for the designer brand and a pleasant scent it is 100% a steal, but it’s exclusively a shower scent/gym scent for me. But NEVER BUY IT FOR MORE THAN 30 DOLLARS, especially if it’s not 100ml.
@@michelleclark8099 personally I think it’s extremely feminine. The notes consist almost entirely of sweet, refreshing fruits. It’s not even remotely unisex to me imo
Im a huge Mugler Fan (The key is not overspraying) but I was a bit bewildered by Angel Nova. I was intrigued at first, because you really dont expect an Angel to smell like that and could not wrap my head around it, so I got a 5ml sample and my interest faded kind of quickly, mostly after only recognizing this berry-litshi note after a few hours of wear. Needless to say I did not get a bigger one.
I actually love Ambroxan, lol. Other than that, I agree with all the criticism. Cassili, for instance, was a HUGE disappointment!! And as to the new Miss Dior, OMG... what were they thinking?????
I feel this way about Alien Goddess. What a disappointment, and had zero to do with the original Alien. It’s so generic, which is fine, but then don’t call it Alien.
Yes, Alien Goddess is such a disappointment! I thought it would be good but was just like every other summery, beachy fragrance we’ve all smelled before. Nothing original or different about it, very generic. And definitely nothing like Alien at all. A regret for me!
It even made me a little mad that they used the Alien name and gave us zero Alien. I was hoping for a beachy, coconutty Alien for summer, instead we just got another Bronze Goddess.
My sister loves the original Alien! I, on the other hand, dislike it. So when Alien Goddess came out, she absolutely despised it, since there was no original Alien DNA. But I adore it! And that‘s the overall consensus among Alien lovers and haters, it seems. People who love the original Alien hate Goddess, people who hate the original Alien love Goddess lol! I wear it everyday and I get tons of compliments for it. I agree, that Goddess shouldn‘t be in the Alien family, since there‘s so connection, really. Pricewise also not worth it, because it just shows average sillage and doesn‘t last long despite being an Eau de Parfum.
@@peachyblushes I noticed too that for a lot of people, you’re either an (OG) Angel person, or an (OG) Alien person. I really can’t stand Angel, so that makes sense to me lol. A lot of the Angel flankers are actually palatable for me too , but seemingly have nothing to do with the original.
I bought Miss Dior about 8 years ago and I loved it but ran out of it quite quickly. Treated myself to a bottle last Christmas, and they’ve completely changed the scent of it. Smells awful
This video is much appreciated. I, too, am extremely sensitive to scents, which I can smell certain scratchy or synthetic notes that others just can’t. I cannot say that I don’t like all synthetic fragrances, since some are quite addictive or they dry down rather subtle. Then others like Viva La Juicy just smells so offensive. I also simply cannot get with BBW candles, it just has an artificial note to it that just lingers. Needless to say, I buy one ever so often hoping that they’ll reformulate the ingredients, only to be disappointed.
I completely agree with all of them, except L'imperatrice which I find it lovely... Each one it's nose. On the point for parfums de marly, I liked Pegasus and Oajan, but the logevity 2h!!!! A mockery for the price. It's true Delina smells good but absolutely not my type of perfume, a really mature rose that I smelled in a thousand perfumes before. I would add even Kilian Love... Rolling a lot of them... Just marketing, and I noticed Kilian Love smells like a muslim oil I bought in a mosk in Pakistan for 1 dollar. So I prefer my oil😂
I couldn't agree more regarding Good Girl! I just never understood the obsession for this scent by people around me, like no. Just like you mentioned, its really smells cheap and I don't see what's great about it.
I don’t think it smells cheap but I wouldn’t say it smells expensive either 🤔 it’s basic to me. The smell it self it’s basic, no interesting notes to it, just plain and basic…
I do love Angel Nova & Good Girl. I layer Good Girl with other things to give it a richer scent. I’m glad I got it 30% off though. It doesn’t deserve it’s price point.
Wow girl you went hard on this video. I love it! Thank you for the honesty, I was considering purchasing Dylan Turquoise, now I will have to go a smell it first. I do enjoy a good lemon sent during summer but after your comment I won't blind buy.
Blooming Boquet Dior smells so cheap. When i say cheap i mean theres so much out there that i cam find at a better price point. Not that it doesnt smell good because it does smell good. But i think u can get something from Oscar de La Renta that is less expensive
We Need More ... You did me a BIG FAVOR. I was about to buy both Moschino after seeing it on RUclips saying how GOOD BOTH SMELL and to make it worse Marshall's has the 2 bottles gifted for $55 so I was going to buy just because I'm seeing it & bored plus the DG ALWAYS ON CLEARANCE there also You saved me $150
D&G L'impatrice smells horrible to me, it smells like unwashed armpits to me. I thought I was crazy until my daughters said the same thing, then I saw a few people on fragratica say the same thing.
I do agree with some of your choices. There are fragrances that I find quite harsh and scratchy that other people rave about. I'm not overly botheres by inexpensive fragrances that smell a little cheap, you know what you are getting into when you buy cheapies. Pricier fragrances that smell cheap are extra disappointing because I expect better.
I like Bitter Peach but I see what you mean about it smelling like Angel. It's the patchouli, I think that's the more dominant note than the peach and I don't get any boozy notes. I spray it on my arms on top of my body lotion but use another perfume on my pulse points and my clothes.
I laughed so hard when you talked about Dylan turquoise "it's a lemon ,It's a lemon that's smells like lemon "🤣 so iconic, like I get the lemon vibe but I think it has flowery notes also as I remember.
Oh, i love Dylan Turquoise... My favorite summer scent. it lasts for days and it is one of my most complimented perfume.. i smell lemon only for about 30 min..then the party begin..then the guava scent goes on the throne
I’ve been eyeing the Carolina Herera perfumes for a while because I love the bottles. It’s a memory I have because of my grandmother. I finally purchased a couple samples with Good Girl. I don’t know if other CH fragrances are better, but based on the good girl line, the bottles are what made her name.
"Good Girl " has a special place in my heart bc it's the frag I wore on my first date with my former gf. She passed away suddenly last month. ...idk if you're necessary wrong about it though lol
These videos are so scary 😅. I am glad my favorite scent escaped the list ( today). Anyway, please keep doing this. Most channels have too many promotions to be honest about their own impressions of a scent. I was interested in L’impertrice. It has everything I want by your description, young, fresh, but it seems to be missing an underlying elegant or expensive note in the dry down?
It doesn't have it. I also thought it would be elegant - according to Demi Rawling's recommendation. But no. The fruits were overwhelming and definitely smelt cheap. Sorry. But give it a try anyway.
@@michelleclark8099 I understand you. Meanwhile you can check others - I am sampling the niches. You still can't get to them other way than buying samples online 🤷♀️
@@adrianavargova Buying samples is a small fortune. I did that. Many errors. $$$$ I stopped. Now, I am keeping a list for when and if the restrictions and lockdowns end.
I love Angel nova, will always have it one of my favorites, cassili i also love very much. Don't mind smelling cheap, quite honestly, i like the scents most people hate! Suits me as i do not like smelling like smelling like everyone else.
I completely agree on almost all of these. There’s only maybe two I have not smelled out of the lot. Especially about Dylan Blue Turquoise being nothing special and Carolina Herrera Good Girl smelling like a mess. I have tried to like my sample I had of Angel Nova but it really is so synthetic in the worst way. Headache inducing even. I don’t understand the hype behind that one at all. I also own L’Imperatrice and definitely think it smells like a body spray but I do love to layer it with other things in the summer months. As you said, not worth full price but that’s why I bought it discounted. I love watching your videos and I enjoy that you share the fragrances you don’t like or think smell cheap too!
Hii, love your videos ❤❤ What do you think of Viva La Juicy Noir? It smells really pleasant to me, not groundbreaking, but really delicious and gets me tons of compliments. Actually, could you do Viva La Juicy range review?
Love this video! So funny. I had the same with Miss Dior 2021 in the beginning, but now it's one of my signatures. It lasts forever. It helped me to give it time and to let my skin get used to it. But i never liked previous versions of them, so that helps maybe. Love Rose n Roses too! Wonder what you think about the Parfum2024 version!!!
On my skin toy 2 is fresh apple, citrus, creamy floral and hint of oud. I enjoy it more than light blue and the intense version. I like turquoise until the dry down where I get a wet sponge/mossy note. Every time I wear CH good girl I get stopped and told I smell good.
I got a free sample of the new miss Dior with a purchase and honestly I kinda love it ahaha. I’ve given the miss Dior line so many chances but it always fell flat to me, but this new one is, like you rightfully said, nothing like the previous ones. This one is really sweet and heavy with praline, but I really do like it. And surprisingly the longevity/projection is impressive on my skin. I’m debating buying a full bottle but I’m going to use up this sample first. Besides that I agree with everything else 100%
@@adrianavargova yep it’s a lot sweeter then the other versions, compare the notes between them because it’s so much more gourmand. Heavy on the praline, vanilla and fruits. And no patchouli which is very different from all the other versions
I’m not hating this video, to each is own 😄😍 I have L’imperatrice and i love it :) it’s cheap too. Maybe it’s more suitable for humid countries because the scent intensifies in heat. Great video! looking forward for men too :)
I agree with you about all of these. I bought Vanilla Vibes at a great deal and still wish that I hadn’t bought it. I live in Florida and use it occasionally as a beachy fragrance, but the salty note is kind of dirty. I do get lots of compliments when I wear it though.
Over the last two years, I have educated my nose by smelling and analyzing more than 100 fragrances. In the beginning, I liked Cacherel Noa, and finished a 30 ml bottle. Six months after I found it smelled cheap, and will not repurchase. In fact, all cacherel frags are not for me! Now, my personal test is to revisit fragrances after a two month sniff break. My sense (no pun intended) is that all fragrances have synthetics but the sniff outcome depends on the quality of the synthetics and the combined ingredient scent. I dislike most body sprays as they smell cheap and they are very short lived. I love D&G Impertrice and temperance, and the price is great. these are beautiful and worthwhile “body sprays” to my nose because they are office-appropriate, I enjoy them and they are well balanced to my nose.
I agree with a lot of the things you said in this video however I think Parfums de Marly is more of a mixed bag for me. Safanad is divine. Delina and Delina Exclusif are lovely too. I own all those three and I think they smell the opposite of cheap. Longevity is also very good. I agree Althalia smells dusty and unpleasant, but not really cheap. Cassili smells like hairspray. Meliora and Oriana are both perfectly pleasant fragrances but you can find ones that smell the same for way cheaper... Darcy I don't care for because I'm not a fan of Coco Mademoiselle type of scents in general, it smells too harsh for my nose.
could you recommend a fragrance that smells like or is similar to meliora, with that fresh berry note? are there any affordable options that don’t smell cheap?
I don't get why some people take videos like this personally. It's not that serious, wear whatever you like. I love L'Imperatrice even though I agree that it smells kind of cheap. Will I stop wearing it? Nope.
Thank you Yana for this review :). I too have a hard time with parfums de Marly, I guess there is a fair amount of good quality materials in them given the price, maybe they are just too concentrated for me ? but they feel so synthetic to my nose, starting with the overpraised Delina wich to me smells just like an agressive rose scented air freshener from the eighties, and I agree with you for the male range I tested too, they have this vintage (eighties again) shaving foam kind of weird lactonic-minty undertone in their compositions I just don't get along with. Even Meliora I liked best was in the end too sharp and synthetic-like. The worse niche brand I tested was Jacques Fath though. I have ordered all the samples from the house itself, smelled them when I received them and a few times after that ... still find them ALL atrocious, to a point I wonder if the samples were spoiled ? Designerswise I have to admit I often get that chemical/sharp impression on my skin, even in the drydown, that turns me off and sadly makes me give up on nice well-blended fragrances I loved on paper , like Armani My Way for example... whereas other tuberose-based fragrances like Gucci bloom profumo di fiori (though it sadly doesn't last at all on me) at least stays smooth and "natural-smelling" on my skin. I also agree with you on the Carolina Herrera Good Girl range (same with "bad boy"...not bad but try too hard to grab the attention ;) ), the new Miss Dior, and Angel Nova. To my surprise, because I don't like Angel, I got along really well with Angel Iced Star though, a nice creamy piña colada with a lovely smooth milky-caramely-chocolaty drydown (dry and a bit earthy, not sticky), it's comforting in autumn :)
I actually really like bitter peach 😊 People says it smells cheap or not revolutionary enough for TF but I have yet to smell anything like it and I don’t think people really can think of something similar. I feel like someone gave it a bad rep and everyone just followed suit. Yes it smells like peach rings or peachie-o lol but it has an earthiness to it too. I don’t think it smells like Angel at all, I actually have a strong dislike of most angel fragrances. That’s why all our collections are different though lol something that smell good to someone could be a total hate for someone else.
Oh noooo... Is Mancera's Juicy Flowers that bad?! Chernobyl bad?!!! I was planning to blind buy it this Christmas based on the scent profile...thanks for your input though...
Maybe the sample needs time to macerate and I am quite sensitive to the aroma chemicals Mancera uses... This is the worst I've tried from them thus far 😬
Loved this! What’s to be offended by? It’s so subjective. That being said, I have never liked anything by Juicy Couture and while I really like a few Montale’s , sometimes the overly synthetic notes just kill it for me. I’m also so glad to see someone who dislikes Vanilla Vibes as much as me. I blind bought it because I saw it raved about and since I usually love vanilla fragrances but this one - ugh!!! The upside was that I learned I really don’t like “beach” scents at all - again, totally subjective bc there are plenty of people who absolutely adore that type of scent.
This should only be worn after a day at the beach, I don't know why, it just works in that context. I love it on Summer holidays, it's intoxicating and uplifting. I think it would be strange to wear at any other time of the year.
I was interested in Toy boy 2. But the ingredients need to not go bad in the bottle, or maybe they altered the original formula. I am looking for a more feminine: Light Blue.
I’ve tried several of the ones you have mentioned and I agree. It’s ridiculous how designers come up with such gauche smells. Hated Dylan blue turquoise. Vanilla vibes was not great. Angel nova was repulsive to my nose. None of them worth the hype or price.
Toy Boy gets credit for not being just another sugary sweet amberwood heavy men’s fragrance, but the more I wore it the more it started to smell like a piece of cedar covered in rose air freshener.
To me, all Perfumes de Marly perfumes smell synthetic. Like the shrieking loud headache inducing blast you get when you walk into a cheap fragrance store. Darcy is okay, and Safanad is wearable. Meliora is shockingly bad, like a dollar store bathbomb. And Delina is a linear synthetic loud and generic smelling lychee nightmare. I will never get the hype.
Great video. I love that you give honest and seemingly unbiased opinions in your fragrance reviews. I have Cassili and a travel of Bitter Peach. I love them both but that is not to say they smell so elegant and expensive to me, but I love them. I enjoy your content lovely lady!
I sampled TF Bitter Peach, and though way too expensive, I loved the scent on a sunny 68 degree October day. Later that day, I had a completely healthy grocery cart and impulsively tossed a frozen peach pie and vanilla ice cream in, at the end of my trip! Sometimes we’re just in the mood for peach! I’d like to get a travel size during a sale for those once in a while days.
I agree with you on Dylan and the flanker- to me they smell like a lemon-y cleaning product. Personally I despise So Scandal- I find the fragrance rather obnoxious and unrefined
Love the concept of your videos♥️ agree with you on a lot of them: Ch good girl, light blue intense, emperatrice.... buuuut I love Angel Nova😂 it's not an elegant scent but I find it happy fruity without being overly immature. It's for those days when I don't to be serious and I am playful (I don't tend to have many days like these, as I am more of a goth type of girl..)
I remember DG Light Blue smelling 90% different in the 90's and i found a dupe for that old one, it's Juliette Has a Gun - Not a perfume superdose. That's how it used to smell before. No citrus at all just ISO.
Hi. Can you explain this again? Light blue has 2 versions? Do you like one better? Is the bottle different? There is a perfume called Superdose? Do you like it?
@@michelleclark8099 Hi. It has 2 versions indeed and the reformulated one does not even come close to the old one. New one is a fresh, sporty, citrussy, artificial smelling cologne type of fragrance while the old one used to be a very dry aquatic woody cedar musk. 'Not a Perfume Superdose' is a molecular fragrance with ambroxan + cetalox but on the skin it develops into that airy woody musky feeling from the old Light Blue. You should try it on your skin in the store, it's more of a vibe and less a perfume.
@@issax4667 Oboy, and I didn't open my bottle yet I bought from sales. (but we can't return opened botlles anyway in Europe, so yeah, would've been a fail either way). Had a light Blue in early 2000's and was so nice.
I totally agree with the Good Girl, and can't figure out why so many women like it. It smells like a mess and in my opinion, the bottles are tacky. I do like the initial smell of the new Miss Dior, but it's gone within minutes. For that price, that is not acceptable. It doesn't last at all.
Agree on Light Blue! I asked in a mainstream shop to smell it, and said I wanted to compare it to the original, and the shop assistant pulled her nose up on me and said: they smell exactly the same. No they don't. To my nose Intense is also way sharper... more woody I think. I don't mind Good Girl though, it's okay. I agree it's a mixed mess, but somehow I like the opening in winter, and then I like the fact that it is a man magnet. XD Angel Nova, what an atrocity is that. But then there's anise alcohol in it, smells like anise booze to me. And I hate that, so yeah. Weirdly anise alcohol is in the ingredients list, but not in the note pyramid.
I agree TF Bitter Peach smells cheap, but would also smell better on a man. I don't like it. Oil of Perfumery's Oil smells IDENTICAL to it, if anyone wants to try it cheaply. I hated,,HATED Dylan Blue, tried it multiple times, & it stunk everytime to me, the Turquoise was an absolute godsend to me. It shocked me too. I do not get Lemon at all.
I've just had covid and my sense of smell went...so upset! Nearly a week on it's gradually coming back but still can't smell most perfumes....apart from Angel Nova and Michael buble invitation!!!
As a 19 year old, I'm guessing "cheap" to you is often just youthful. I have yet to try Cassili, but I have smelled Delina and it honestly didn't smell special to me at all. I keep trying "classy" fragrances, and they often smell way to mature or way too insignificant, with an exception of Coco Mademoiselle. But I wish I could find some younger youtubers to recommend youthful scents that I could where that are still considered classy on someone my age because listening to older women's preferences is not helping.
You're the same age as my sister. I can do a video with her in future. I don't think you're on the search for "classy" or "elegant" fragrances though, and tbh I wasn't at that age either. You're probably on the search for stuff that smells good and it doesn't necessarily need to be expensive. I'd recommend the Sol de Janeiro collection (especially cheirosa '40) it's smells the most refined and "elegant" but not too mature
Oh no! Toy2 is the perfume I bought my 6 year old as her first perfume. The bottle is so cute and a 6 year old can pull it off - apple shampoo. Oh no! I loved l'imperatrice this summer in London, UK - the green notes are fantastic. You saved me from buying Cassili. Tested Turquoise in a magazine exactly as you said - it's lemon. CHGG, The bottle is so tacky I'd never even test it. Apologies if you love it. I wore a CH wedding gown - she's the best designer.
love your honesty i enjoy your reviews i most say angel nova is sour on my skin and i agree with your other choices of perfums everyone nose is different greetings from the netherlands
While I do agree with a lot of what you said about Angel Nova, boy does it get you noticed! Whenever I wear it I’m told I smell good and people want to know what I’m wearing. It really lasts all day too. It is a little juvenile and smells nothing like Angel but the longevity and the attraction gives it a pass to me. I have to admit, I enjoy it. Its different and I think that’s why it stands out to me and on me!
Every time you said poison I thought you were referring to Dior Poison which I love lol Meliora to me smelled like a bathroom air freshener that my parents used to have years ago and it wasn't even a scent I liked. Tried Oriana and it smelled like your typical sweet candy like fragrance which I'm not a fan of for women. From the house only The first 2 Delina's I liked, I still need to try Darcy, Casili and Safanad. Which Fruity Florals would you recommend? Scents along the lines of Delina, Bright Crystal? I still wish Envy me was available :(
I see where you coming from with Moschino 2 but on me it actually smells warmer and not synthetic. Light Blue used to smell lovely and smart but now I foind it cytrusy&washing powder vibes :( I find L'Imperatice smelling the cheapest but still enjoyable good enough for the beach, informal holiday occasion I don't ming Angel Nova for the same reasons ;)
I agree with you on Toy 2. When I first tried it I liked it but after about half an hour I was like wtf is this smell. It’ smells like a cheap terrible shampoo. As for L’imperatrice, I love it, it’s definitely not worth full retail price but for like $30 it’s awesome.
I just bought libre intens in the small version and i am in love thanks to you from your previous video plzzz stop selling me I fall for everything good smelling😂
Angel Nova - totally agree with you. Sickly sweet nightmare. Got a sample in Sephora and sprayed it at home on a piece of paper. Damn that was a mistake..
I prefer the og Light blue to the intense one but it really does not last at all. Such a pity since i adore the smell. Dylan Turqoise is very synthetic to me
Fantabulous video..manceras always smell unpleasant or chemically at the beginning.but let it sit for 6 months or so and it will blend beautifully even its color will change.thanks great video as always.
You're too funny!!! You had me in stitches! 🤣🤣 I do love Good Girl, I get a beautiful patchouli oriental and Nova is a very nice and upbeat frag. A good thing we get different vibes in some of these frags.😊

Dylan Blue turquoise. I just didn't like it. I LOVE the bottle. Dylan Blue Original is a like for me.
Every body has different tastes 💐
Great video 👍.
I like how you said "I dont discriminate" 🤣 me nether, I love scents.
I agree with you about L'Imperatrice and Dylan Turquoise ... but I have to admit I do kinda enjoy Mugler Angel Nova because of the lychee and rose combination. 😊 ... wore it a lot during the summer. I love these critical videos from you even when we don't agree. 💕
Have you tried Dylan Blue? I am interested in it. Dylan Blue definitely is polarizing in many reviews.
I also like Nova, it smells so good after like 1-2 h, My mum was awed smelling it on me.
I have angel nova too and have received many compliments on how yummy I smell. It even smells good when combined with pool water 😂
Angel nova to me is a dupe for Delina
I’m obsessed with Dylan Turquoise 🤍 smells very fresh and fun to me 🦋
I find Alien super cheap smelling and no one would ever understand that because my reference is CULTURAL. I grew up in Rio, Brazil and I know that smell from a 90's cheap hair product or deodorant ....I just can't remember exactly which one it was. But it's known for being CHEAP and not great. I HATE that smell SO MUCH HAHAHA.
Omg i had the same reaction to Alien! Im like, why does it smell like a 90s mom?? Now i know why!! Lol 🤣
Alien smells so cheap and synthetic!!! It’s really bad
Yes. We talked about on this channel how we sometimes bump into recycled scent formulations, but with different names. So disappointing.
I agree 100% with all of these. I honestly don’t get the hype around light blue intense AT ALL. Also was underwhelmed by cassili.
Casiliy de marly never 👎 like
I couldn't agree more with your thoughts on PDM fragrances, I don't even think any of the Delina's smell that interesting or worth the price.
I did not like the original Angel, but I did enjoy Angel Nova and that makes sense because I own and love Delina. They are similar.
Yup nova is pretty good and not cheap snelling at all. Once again that lady proved us that she has some nose problems .
@@Ke1ko7
Is it feminine smelling? I feel ill with masculine or unisex scents for me. I like fresh feminine ONLY for me.
@@michelleclark8099 personally I think it’s extremely feminine. The notes consist almost entirely of sweet, refreshing fruits. It’s not even remotely unisex to me imo
@@Ke1ko7 Thank you.
They reformulated Miss Dios unfortunately
I have to admit I agree that bitter peach smells cheap. It doesn’t appeal to me at all and has turned me off to peach notes
I so agree with L'Emperatrice! It's so awful and generic, I can't believe it's so popular! It's definitely worse than many other fruity sprays.
I bought Olympia and glad it was only a travel spray. Alot of people said it was good. It's real strong. Anyone else don't care for it too much?
I couldn't agree more regarding Good Girl! I just never understood the obsession for this scent by people around me, like no. Just like you mentioned, its really smells cheap and I don't see what's great about it.
Yes I hate it. I don’t get the hype either and the bottles are so ugly.
I love Miss Dior 2021!! 😆
Yes! I completely agree about what you say with Cassili. I was totally let down when I smelled it.
I feel the same way bought this and returned it. L'impratice scent was non existent.
Teejay, you’re absolutely correct, straight BO! I returned it the next day.
I almost died when u kept saying "lemon" 😂
LOL I should have put a 'lemon' counter in the corner 😂 I must have said it at least 8 times

The dry down is much too musky. And not in a good way.
I’ve never heard someone compare a fragrance to Chernobyl 😂 I’m laughing so hard rn 🤣
Wow. You are spot on! I agree with you!
You know that you made me curious about the new Miss Dior? Praline??? 😋 I like the OG Miss Dior, now I have to try the new one!
@@adrianavargova yep it’s a lot sweeter then the other versions, compare the notes between them because it’s so much more gourmand. Heavy on the praline, vanilla and fruits. And no patchouli which is very different from all the other versions
@@Ke1ko7 I take your advice and smell them all. 😊
@@Ke1ko7 I miss the patchouli! 😔. Thankfully (to me) the EDT smells exactly like the old version.
Not bitter peach!
Exactly! Smells so good to me!!!!!
It smells straightaway peach. Boring
I’m not hating this video, to each is own 😄😍
I have L’imperatrice and i love it :) it’s cheap too. Maybe it’s more suitable for humid countries because the scent intensifies in heat.
Great video! looking forward for men too :)
L'imperatrice is actually my signature scent! I always get TONS of compliments wearing it. I guess it depends on people's body chemistry🥰
It just smells like a body mist that you can get at bath&body works😊
I love this scent a lot to
@@greenrocket9344 to you. obviously that person doesnt live in the US.
I absolutely love this type of videos. Yana just slays 😄
I don’t get the fuss with Perfumes de Marly they are all pretty average smelling. Overhyped for sure.
Tom ford bitter peach my signature scent . I just love it . And it’s not smell chip at all!!!!!
I like it 😁 I have bought it. Because it turned elegant on my skin and that "rubber" disappeared 👍 But it works only in the heat.
This should only be worn after a day at the beach, I don't know why, it just works in that context. I love it on Summer holidays, it's intoxicating and uplifting. I think it would be strange to wear at any other time of the year.
@@franceshanna3724 Yes, I tried it to spray on my clothes in the chilly October, and it was unpleasant. But in the hot August it was perfect 👍
I absolutely love Dylan Turquoise 🦋 doesn’t smell cheap to me 🤍
This video was helpful and a lot of fun!! Why does the packaging of de Marley remind me of fancy pepto bismal?
I have the D&G L'mperatrice... rarely use it. I agree with you about Lt Blue Intense... too harsh, but OK. I like the original better.
@@suzannesmith5339 haaa trust me I can relate to impulsive purchases!
I agree with you on Dylan and the flanker- to me they smell like a lemon-y cleaning product. Personally I despise So Scandal- I find the fragrance rather obnoxious and unrefined
Oh Dylan turquoise, I enjoy the aquatic middle, such an easy white shirt scent on my skin, not too much lemon for me...
@@issax4667

@@issax4667 Oboy, and I didn't open my bottle yet I bought from sales. (but we can't return opened botlles anyway in Europe, so yeah, would've been a fail either way). Had a light Blue in early 2000's and was so nice.
Late to this, but this video is awesome! You can vent any time. Nice to watch a video that doesn't add to my wishlist!
I totally agree with the Good Girl, and can't figure out why so many women like it. It smells like a mess and in my opinion, the bottles are tacky. I do like the initial smell of the new Miss Dior, but it's gone within minutes. For that price, that is not acceptable. It doesn't last at all.
I haven't smelled a lot of perfumes, but I agree with CH Good girl.
I agree with the l’impereatrice. In all honesty, I only got it because it was on sale.
It was great!
I think it’s time for a 10 Men’s fragrances that smells cheap 😎
@@TheScented Thanks I'll look into Sol de Janeiro. A video with your sister would also be helpful, I'm sure.

Thank you for doing this video. I feel the same about mancera and the new miss Dior. However n3 l'impératrice is my go to scent in the high heat.
I love your disclaimer 😂 very heartfelt 😘
Every time you said poison I thought you were referring to Dior Poison which I love lol
Meliora to me smelled like a bathroom air freshener that my parents used to have years ago and it wasn't even a scent I liked. I still wish Envy me was available :(
lol nope! I was referring to poison as in that stuff that kills you😂 sorry for any confusion!

CH Good Girl smells so cheap to me! I don't understand the hype.
I can even get out my front door with original light blue it’s like as soon as I spray it on it dissipates
I agree with you on Toy 2. When I first tried it I liked it but after about half an hour I was like wtf is this smell. It’ smells like a cheap terrible shampoo. As for L’imperatrice, I love it, it’s definitely not worth full retail price but for like $30 it’s awesome.
My husband also said it smells like shampoo. He liked it at the beginning but not anymore 😂
And don't get me started on Good girl. Your description is spot on. And the bottle is embarrassing.
I said the exact thing about the vanilla Vibes it has the cheapest vanilla smell I've ever smelled in my life
I prefer the og Light blue to the intense one but it really does not last at all. Such a pity since i adore the smell. Dylan Turqoise is very synthetic to me
Yeah honestly agree with you on 100% of these. Maybe they are just not my cup of tea and I’m glad I’m not alone ☺️💜
I like my light blue intense tho, it's very humid here and I don't wanna smell sticky sweet, although it doesn't last as long
Where do you buy the mini bottles😍
I do like the Versace Dylan turquoise!
Fantabulous video..manceras always smell unpleasant or chemically at the beginning.but let it sit for 6 months or so and it will blend beautifully even its color will change.thanks great video as always.
You have to wait 6 months?😂
Tbh I never thought Good Girl was worth the hype. It just smelled okay to me.
That tacky ass stiletto too, I just can’t
You're too funny!!! You had me in stitches! 🤣🤣
I do love Good Girl, I get a beautiful patchouli oriental and Nova is a very nice and upbeat frag.
A good thing we get different vibes in some of these frags.😊
