I feel Be Quiet got their RGB lighting right on point here with their FX lineup of peripherals 🥰🤯🤩🤤! The colours to me appear more lively and full on to past iterations of RGB by all manufacturers 👍😇. Job well done to Be Quiet with their FX lineup!
I have had both a regular 500 and a 500DX and they are great cases. I am sure this one will leave people satisfied like I was when I had them. I only changed them as my builds and requirements changed, but other than that, great overall.
Hi. Strangely enough I have just finished a build in a BeQuiet Silent Base 802W Black, and I have to say it was one of the easiest cases to build in. Look, I haven't built in many in the last 2 years. But compared to the Corsair 465X, 4000X, 5000X, HAF-X and the 5000T it was really smooth! And I really like the case. Of course I filled it with Corsair stuff like 8 LL120's and a 150i Capellix.... Everything went really smoothly, especially the cables management! And mentioning Case prices, I bought a Corsair 465X a few months ago in white. It came with 3 LL120's and a Node Core. I paid £72.99 at Amazon here in the UK. Now if you price in the 3 fans and the Node Core the Case worked out to costing me £12.00...... Yes, TWELVE POUNDS! (At the time). Silly money! So yes, I agree, people tend to forget the "Extras"..... The 802 I got for a bit of a bargain, it was only £146.00 but arrived with a really damaged outer Box and could easily been seen that it had been a few rounds in the ring with Mike Tyson! (But the Case itself was OK, a few bits displaced etc, but no damage). So I called Amazon and without any qualms discounted me 35%! (Refunded me £51 odd). So it cost me 95 Quid! Happy Days!!! Great looking build there dude! You Vids are FAB! Ciao....... :)
Another beautiful build! I had the 500DX a while back, and I really liked it. I just checked the price for the UK, and it is £114.98 that's an absolute bargain with the included RGB fans.
Very nice build and a very good case! I think so too that the pricing is fine because they are no random cheap fans. There is only one thing missing in the line up of Be Quiet: a case that is not higher than 39cm. That is my space I have for a case and I would love to see a MiniITX or MicroATX case in the Pure Base 500 FX Style 🥳🥳🥳
Great Video! Colours and music giving me some No Man‘s sky vibes (but better lol)… I use these fans in my personal build aswell, really like the halo. I wonder if they would pop even more if the whole build was a bit more stealth looking? Like without the strimer cables… or nah? Anyway, have a wonderful day Nic & Team! :)
the DX has a led strip on top but im not sure if its addressable, good on beQuiet giving us options, really love the DX case too, want a cool all black build with their new fans !!
I think this case is amazing, but for that price, I would expect a little more effort and options regarding cable management. Corsair, Asus, and even newer NZXT cases have spoiled us with cable channels with ties and panels that cover some cable-heavy regions. Also, great video as always!
Question about the FX case fans vs the Pure Loop 2 FX fans. I believe the case fans run at 1700rpm and Loop fans are 2500rpm. To maintain a positive or balanced airflow, do the Loop fans speed need to be dropped to match the case fans 1700rpm? Or does them having to exhaust through the rad on the top dampen the pressure of the higher rpm? Should they be adjusted or just leave as is?
I know how you feel about people always asking you what color code. People always ask me, STEFAN, how much thermal paste should I use. I always tell them, if you're asking, its not enough.
Oh, and another thing.... The other day you did a build and there I was like an idiot holding out my thumb when you had finished, but you never gave it a "thumbs-up"! I must have looked like a right nana!.....
Kinda disappointed. Apart from seeing more than a few of the mesh of the old version rusting faster than even some budget mesh cases they're still using the same 4 thumbscrews to secure the thumbscrews...disappointing from a brand like bequiet imho edit: I mean Glass. lmao

How do you think this watercooler will do with the i9 13900K or R9 7950X ? They say it will reach temps of 99 or 100 degrees, is this watercooler efficient for that?
@@einotorkkel9817 thanks, but you have a difference in coolers, like Noctua in top tier with best cooling and some down below. Like for example, if Noctua can cool to 80 degrees and Coolermaster to 90 degrees, on the same cpu, what temps you get. Will Coolermaster go over 100. So what I mean is, what's the best cooler for these cpu's. If this cooler reach temps of 82 or 92 degrees on a 5800x it will not be sufficient enough on these new cpu's. I wanna know exactly what the best cooler is for R9 7950x before I buy another cooler. I have the dark rock 4 at the moment and I don't think that one is a good idea
@@einotorkkel9817 I just got my confirmation with a Dutch review in the Netherlands going air two hours ago about the R9 7950x. They tested with Noctua NH-D15. The best cooler there is. And even that one was insufficient. You NEED a watercooler. But wich one, they didn't say (yet).
Hi mate, great video. Just one question about installing 360 aio cooler - as it can be installed only on front - is it possible to install it together with original fans from the case? Or those fans needs to be removed?
Can probably swap them, but depending on what you’re swapping out you may lose a lot of cooling performance. Don’t believe any of the case fans Be Quiet includes move a ton of air because they’re more noise focused.
Hey can someone give me a little guidance? I got this Be Queit! Pure Base 500 FX case. I am going to be using a 5900x with a Artic Freezer II 240 ARGB AIO top Mounted as exhaust, pull config (I believe is stock config). Keeping stock fan config in case. SHOULD I MOUNT MY MSI MPG A1000G PSU FAN UP OR DOWN. I am probably going to get a 6900XT or 7900XT. Hey, I built an Arctic Freezer II 240 ARGB AIO top mounted exhaust in this case just like you said you're planning to do! It defaults to *push* config, not pull, so the fans will point down and shine the ARGB down on the cold plate/motherboard. I did my PSU fan-down so that it pulls through the dust filter from the bottom. The feet on the case give it some clearance so not worried about it starving for air. I believe that with most triple-fan GPU designs, you'd end up with the PSU and GPU both fighting to intake air against each other. Might be a bit of turbulence with that so seems best to avoid it. Oh, and for the love of god, ROUTE YOUR CPU 4+4 PIN CABLE BEFORE INSTALLING THE RADIATOR :) Good luck on your build!
