The basic beams might be chargeable like in Tenkaichi 3, that's why they're smaller
chargeable in tenkachi 2, tenkachi 3 turned alot of blast moves into cutscenes, anyways yea hopefully it's chargeable AND aimable
Could also be because it's the basic variant of those beams in general, i.e. base Kamehameha/Galick Gun compared to the Super Kamehameha/Super Galick Gun. We'll have to see how it changes per transformation, I guess...

Like Kamehameha cost 3 bars so if I have 5 yellow bars I can put energy from 2 other bars to make it more powerful
They can also make it more better by adding this option for knock away atk like holding square one's mid combo triangle gut punch to have that piccolo vs 17 moment
it make them longer to charge but by landing it you will stun your opponents
There's also Super Kamehameha (you know how many characters are gonna have _that_ damn move), so it's a good way to differentiate between them. Raging Blast's regular beams were like that too.

When it comes to 5v5 or 2v2 tag ream gameplay, I feel like it would ideal to have both in separate modes. The blueprint for both is already there

The beams look like how they did in Kakarot. I’m so excited that we can finally transform into SSB and other Super transformations in game. Yeah you could transform into SSB in Kakarot but I’m happy we can finally do it in an Arena style fighting DB game
Not gonna lie it took me a long time to realize this wasn't Kakarot DLC
I didn't know the original BT was named Sparking so I was going through many emotions. It looks exactly like it which is phenomenal

I think the "Stiff Slide in" might actually be the animation that plays between the 2 characters when the match starts which is FIRE if true

Makes sense they'd make it "stuff" then; it focuses the camera on the movement of the characters instead of the background so we can get a clear view of the two who are fighting before the match starts.

Actual beam width in dragonball is completely up in the air. It's almost entirely up to the specific animator to decide how the beams look, sometimes theyre big and wide, other times its narrow and dense

It'd be cool if you can watch the other members of your squad fighting off the side of the map with the opposing team, more immersive that way but the game looks siiiick
Imagine if they have something similar to the raids we get in FighterZ and Xenoverse. You can team up with people and fight a very OP boss of course one on one until you choose to tag out or lose. This might be me being overthinking things but I think that would be a very fun mode for a modern Tenkaichi game. That or bring back survival mode but with friends, that would be fun too.

Bergamo and both Z Trunks _and_ Super Trunks being in the game tells me that the roster might be packed. I don't want to set my expectations too high, but I'm pretty sure they chose to show off two versions of Trunks in this super short trailer for a reason.

0:45 2:12 I wanna assume that the characters look stiff like that to introduce each player's character. *If* that's the introduction to the fight, then we don't want big characters like Broly clipping through the camera since it's an animation that could be reused. We wanna be able to see the characters clearly too. Of course there are other ways to do that, but that's just my guess.

a free for all or 5v5 where every player is fighting at the same time would be good specially in a new gen ps5(It can handle a lot of VFX now). Multiplayers playing all at the same time is always hype no matter what. I think that's the only lacking thing in BT3. Hope they implement it here now that consoles nowadays can handle a lot of effects.

I feel like the options to do mulit v multi would be great, like the xv games, but still have the option to choose at least, so say if you wanna 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 3v1, 1v3, any sorta practice or challenge you want, then you still can, but god this has the most potential out of every Dragon Ball game to exist, also, no other game trailer has genuinely made me cry like this has. 17 years since the 3rd one, and I was 5 years old when it happened, I still cannot fathom that this is really happening

I think tag team/free for all would be extremely fun and would be a massive way to vary the gameplay from budokai tenkaichi 3
and then those who don't like the idea or prefer the normal tenkaichi battles can stick to that
If you mean by free for all having more than 2 people exist then that won't work, systems aren't really made for that.
But having friends as other characters in your team you can switch out with is awesome
@@jeffboy4231 hell na switch out is horrible , and no look at Xenoverse , more moves than tenkachi over 10 players/cpus on screen at once, in different portals and the game runs fine this is ps4 switch level , ps5 can handle so much more, you're underselling the capabilities, besides if a psp can run that a Ps5 sure as hell can too

Your Tenkaichi tag idea as a mode would be a nice addition to give this title legs as long as Fighterz and XV2.
Plus I don't know their dlc intentions but it'll be crazy if the roster is as big as everyone who has ever thrown a fist is in the game.

Wishlist means within the next year and a half. And considering this. I’d say august at the earliest and next January at latest.
As long as like every anime arc is here story wise with some fat cut. As far as tag matches that could be really fun on a 2v2 stage. Especially in story mode fights. Make them feel cinematic and Kakarot already can do multiple people on the screen. Imagine a tag match with tien and the suicide bomb puppet and Nappa!

I hope Bergamo gets bigger and bigger the more you damage him. There must be a lot of game modes in this if it wants to keep itself up there with BT3. Customization needs to put Xenoverse 2 to shame. We could barely customize anything at all as of now in XV2 *(For example, changing the colors of the clothes is one thing, changing ALL of the clothes plus accessories? Hell yeah).*
This is not xenoverse this is a masterpiece it will not have customization like xenoverse and dragon ball games never needed to have customization to be good lmao

After seeing this, the more I think about other features and characters the more excited I become. Imagine story mode and online play (w/ rollback possibly???), imagine Rosé Goku Black, Beerus, Whis, Kid Buu, Janemba, UI Goku, etc. It's all going to look gorgeous!
