Btw your gripe about the tailgate is inaccurate: you can raise the tailgate without the button or the fob by lifting it 3-4 inches which will cause it to close the rest of the way by itself.
With that new tailgate, if someone wants to use this for casual, occasional overlanding, with a pop up tent up top, or maybe just fix bicycle racks or other racks over the bed, such that you cannot open whatever bedcover you are using, then opening this new tailgate sideways allows you to reach in further without having to lean over the open flat tailgate. So that will be useful. I just wish they had found a way to keep that pull out step and grab handle in the new tailgate, but at least they let you choose which you want. I think it's a great new tailgate design, can be improved, but still great. And I agree with your comment about wishing more tie down points inside the bed were present, good but could be better. And I wish the lights in the rear of the bed were also in the front of the bed when you flip that switch. I would prefer dual tailpipes. Oh well.
Do you think the upcoming Platinum or Platinum Plus will drive smoother and more quietly on the highway than the Tremor? And do you know, if I add the FX4 package to the Platinum or Platinum Plus would than mean I lose the dampening feature, and if so, will I notice that missing while driving? A few comments below. A few questions here. Thanks for a good review.
This is my first look at the Platinum. I have to say it is impressive. For $86,000 that's really reasonable considering all of the creature comforts like heated and cooled, message seats, sun roof and power tail gate and side steps. That's the kind of things you find on luxury cars! I would definitely go with the 5.0L engine though.
No it’s not, literally says 702a on the window sticker 😂 and only the 702 and 703 get the heads up display which you know it has by the straight dash design.
No vehicle unless it’s a coveted collectible is worth that much. End of story. To take on the debt for something that depreciates so fast is beyond stupid.
Yeah the car is expensive but everything is expensive.. we’re paying more that 5 bucks for a carton of eggs. The dolar ain’t what it used to. It’s still that 35, 45 thousand dollar truck just with “inflation”. Doesn’t mean it’s not a nice truck, just can’t afford it.

Was going to say the same thing.
I am ordering one soon! Btw you can give the tailgate a little push by your hand or knee and it will close by itself

What do you care what people do with their money?
No. No it is not worth anything near that.
