Hi❤
Body language is completely natural and can be effective if done right but it can also make people seem stupid, out of control, or lacking in sophistication and elegance.
Scam
❤
Love how you're trying so hard not to hand signal, little thumb still twitching, palm still bouncing to the rhythm.
😂😂
I noticed that! He's really internalized how to use body language. I've always spoken with my hands, but I've been using these to learn how to better match it to my own rhythm.
Man you got good eyes
The head is doing its most 😂
Nice catch
I do agree it’s better but you also used more direct and clear language making the second one look better
Exactly!!!
Absolutely, but it's important to remember that we don't merely use body language to supplement verbal language - the two are intrinsically intertwined. Our body language influences our speech, just as our speech influences our body language. They are not separate activities, but rather a synchronized performance.
People may shy away from using their bodies as tools for expression because they're simply not accustomed to it. Nonverbal communication can be as layered and nuanced as verbal communication, and in some cases, even more so. It's akin to learning a second language. Just as we don't consciously scrutinize every word that slips off our tongues - unless we're discussing something unfamiliar or under stress - the same applies to our body language.
As we grow more comfortable with nonverbal expression, and thereby expand our nonverbal 'vocabulary', this process becomes second nature. You might even find it begins to impact your tone, volume, and pace, acting like an inbuilt metronome.
And let's not forget, physically shifting your body can have direct effects on your physiological state. Constant movement can increase blood flow and core temperature, while slower movements can boost focus and blood pressure. Likewise, open gestures can enhance respiratory function, while more closed, focused movements may concentrate your vocal output.
For example, when I'm talking to someone over the phone, I find myself needing to walk around or at least stand. There's no denying that some of these actions may seem exaggerated, but they are rooted in truth. Public speaking is indeed a full body exercise. Otherwise, why would we bother presenting in person rather than just playing a pre-recorded audio file on an empty stage?
And the tone is different as well.
@SympatheticMonster I would like to say, "THANK YOU," for such an in-depth reply! I also agree with all your po8nts because it is natural to see and feel how everything in our bodies work together to act out all processes.
It’s so much harder to project and be excited when you’re not moving your body. That’s the whole point of why he’s more engaging, because it comes naturally when you give your whole body to what you’re saying
For Introvert's this is a no less from a nightmare. For extroverts, it's just another Tuesday 💀
I saw many introverts with great body language.
Introversion is not the same as social anxiety
@@Zlouch its sad it's 2024 and people still don't know what introvertion is
You can actually be extrovert and have social anxiety, while you can be an introvert and have this amazing body language, and being able to excellently communicate with other people, it’s just really depends.
M. Bison still relevant today.
I’ve been in US for 3 months and recently started watching your videos and I fell in love with them. Vinh you’re incredible. Your lessons help me to improve not only my vocabulary, but accent, speech and voice itself. Keep doing what you do. And I hope one day I will be on one of your performances!
He really good at what he does right? I've been following this guy for a while now and my only regret was why I hadn't done it sooner.
Thank you so much!!
we have very similar profile pictures

Welcome to the States from the Kentucky way!
On the first part, you could see this guy fighting his hands to not use body language. That just goes to show you that body language is a great communicator.
Constant practice, great body language comes from countless hours in mirror practicing
Second one also had tone, inflection, cadence, emphasis, and enthusiasm.
Interesting how the wording also influences how his message is received:
In the first bit he draws the attention to the negative aspects and tesults: "YOU (!) HAVE to learn".. "otherwise you won't be able to.. "
In the second bit he focuses more on the positive aspects. He will lead through this and WE (!) will achieve something good.
That's very eye opening actually.
With body language is muchh better than without 😊
My mentor said to move as little as possible while being filmed so that I don’t seem nervous. I talk with my hands all the time. Think I’ll just be me and go with it. This seems so much more natural.
He gave me confidence🗿
Love listening to you. You're amazing.
also the speech was different and so was the range and clear use of emphasizing some words. It was not just body language.
Body language plays a part in speech that’s why so many voice actors if you see them behind the scenes are still physically acting it’s near impossible to get that level of emotion or get the right tone without body language it’s impossible to voice act and sound genuinely mad when you’re not physically acting mad idk what it is whether it’s psychological or just smth with how he we speak and how different body movements influence emotion but it’s a real thing you can look up for yourself
@@TitankroW What about the speech? You can use body language with out tone and emphasizing words. You can do it without body language, it is not required, you can look it up also.
It just make it seem more like music in a movie seen. A seen can seem scary just by the music alone yet the same seen can seem like lovers.
Also lighting and shadowing has it part not just music all this to say body language is like music its not the main thing it is one of many different elements and variables that take part and play into a bigger picture.
He did very well without body language. In fact, his body still jolted when emphasizing certain syllables. Very hard to just talk without using the body. @@lexbustamante757
Bro not only did the change in body language but also change in vocals and word choice
I was an introvert a year ago, I've been trying to go out from the circle watching these kinda videos
Your course changed my life. Worth every penny.
The last statement is so true
The first one look like you aren't paid enough for this and the second was like you are really motivated to do this
“APPLY what is useful, DISCARD was it not”
We all know what we need to do the struggle is in the application
I am working from home and using these gestures in my day to day audio calls. I can't wait for my promotion.
Behold the great guru of deep fakeness and profundity!
People make fun of me when i use body language and dont just stand around still talking, but here is the best part, i dont care
Make. Them. Mad.
@@ajasilikonreffkmimmon how?
@@tomnook6751 They're boring, bereft of expressiveness.
Keep up your style, but don't show off.
@@ajasilikonreffkmimmon show off? Okay😂, i dont think you can show off this, but thanks.
I am not a person who gives up here things, just because other think it differnt and there for "bad"
Bro's talking to circle's
Dude is teaching communications 101 to the world with these videos
Body language is the best way to present anything .
I have been watching your channel for a while and i am learning a lot about communication
“And we are all leaders in some place in our lives”
Easy to forget sometimes
I love that in the first part his hands were dying to show body language and his head was still going with it
Vinh is amazing
Everything he says is just as useful as this
You should check him out and apply what he's saying. Don't just let it sit at the back of your mind.
So just wave your hands all over the place. Got it!
Love your vids Vinh!
I was honestly able to pay more attention without his hands moving 🤔 both work but not having to pay attention to his hands moving helped. My focus and attention takes a lot more effort. Certain things that are engaging and helpful for most are a distraction for some. 🤷♀️ either way great presentation!
Best leadership tip as it pertains to body language: when someone on your team is talking, look them in the eye, lean in and actually listen. It helps tremendously
Therapist: Australian Asian isn't real. He can't hurt you.
Australian Asian:
there a lot of them actually
Bro doesnt realise aus and NZ are surrounded by Asia
CCP is everywhere

Thank You Vinh , we learn a lot from you
Number 1 seems more honest and trustworthy
Over complication of things is the very reason we are where we are today. Too much of wanting is good for nothing.
So hands is everything
I like this guy because unlike 99% of "gurus" selling something... he can successfully show you it works in under 60 seconds
I like language 😮
So cool he said we're all leaders.
❤❤❤So vital point! Very true!👍👍👍💐💐💐
Speech 100, my man is leveling up his speech
You look so robotic without body language. It's wild how much body movements convey on their own
He is the Jacob Collier of Communication
Underated comment
As I closed my eyes it almost sounds like Jacob talking about super ultra Lydian ... Scale :)
i want to go to one of these and just say “trick question, they are the same!” when he asks which is better
The premise of this extent is to expose yourself, your inner thoughts to the physical world as much as you can through expressions. Just expose yourself to the outer world. Not to keep those utter burdens in yourselves for being unexpressive. Express your inner things including your thoughts and expressions, split it out. To make yourself light which is essential for giving much energy to the world with which we're interacting. It makes you look determined and real in your conversations too.
I thought for a sec the one below was "without body language" and the joke was that he's standing perfectly still
Body language. Just like a great dancer on a dance floor. Makes you pay attention.
That's interesting because in school, I am always told not to use my hands when speaking and to stand still like a statue.
The first one still had some body language in the face and head
The second one is how I usually talk, my friend even pointed it out once how I use my arms for a lot of expressions I make and it really helps getting your point through
…ok?
Tim Cook is Prime Example ❤
I watch keynote just to watch Tim Cook speech and body language 😮
im not trying to dispute that body language is important but i actually observed a noticeable difference in speech between both examples. I think its possible that not only does body language enhance your speach, it also is a sign to yourself that you are comfortable and confident and you feel at ease and more lively. perhaps the effects of body language are magnified because the people who are comfortable with their body language tend to also be more confident.
Part 1 was literally me
I want to improve my communication
Head nodding/movement is still part of the body language but good effort 😂
me with my arms crossed standing with my nose up in the sky not moving an inch while talking:
now I see why I'm scary 💀
😂
He is better than me even without body language.
This guy is awesome
Very good thank you!
If one can have emotions trust come naturally! Body language is like literature of speech
I can hear a tone difference and that’s the biggest for me
Great videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
First one. Way more convincing and genuine.
I've been watching a ton of your video, excellent content. Fun fact, when I was taking college communication course they actively tried to teach us not to move our hands because it would be "distracting" to the listeners.
The first one belike 😂😂😂
Exactly its stimulation for the eye which is why we enjoy subway sufer videos. So if more videos included hand movements maybe we wouldnt need other clips to concentrate
I am subscribed and love your channel and this is the video I do not need .....because I am Italian 😂😂😂
The body language part is more understandable, and shows confidence and you would receive respect from other people.
Best content watched in 2023!❤
Honestly the first one with some gestures felt a lot more genuine, if I’m watching a keynote and the speaker starts flailing his hands around you know they’re grasping straws
I’ve always talked with my hands. I tried multiple ways of becoming successful and the only thing I’m a leader of is being broke and frustrated.
We are all leaders in some place of our lives ❤
I personally think this is useful for people who have no interest, but whne you interested in a topic , you don't care the teachers body language as long as it is normal human behaviour
I’m I the only person who appreciates the first walk out more? It feels more genuine and less of a performance for the audience.
I think this is why people say I make a good leader, when in fact, I absolutely would not. It is because I talk with my hands! Not literally, but I am very expressive with my hands when I talk naturally. My Mom always used to say it was the Italian in us.
Thats nice.
Personally ive been contradicting myself for a while or doing something similar to that, like for example being a leader , every time i find something that i can relate to which in turn makes me a better leader seems to contradict itself with another factor similar to it.
Its pretty wierd tbh .
Good video though :)
You're a god Vinh 👌🙌
Mix. Silence of the body will amplify the words as well.
I'm following u now 👌 I don't feel myself enough yet so I need ur videos to guide
Well for me it's the energy in the second one compared to the full introduction in the first
As an asian child my grandmother hated when i move my hands when talking
Body language 💯
With body language is very best
Its because gesturing helos understanding, and leaders need to express themselves clearly. So we associate "clear instruction" with "good instructioner", wich is actually a somewhat correct assocation.
lol I thought body language was a bit over the top until now. sometimes I've felt uncomfortable at times because most don't. nice that it's a positive trait. 🤩
I accidentally smiled on the body language one.
Dangit
Got me
I followed everything you were saying without body language easily because it was so WEIRD
his head still be communicating tho
I would prefer the 1st.
I find the first more genuine and the second more likely to be in it to make a quick buck.
I need to learn this
BETTER LEADERS AND AS WELL AS "BETTER DECEIVERS" ‼️‼️🧐🧐🧐👍🤭🤭🤭🤭
This is best video for me
I had a communication class where when we presented, if we used body language we got docked points. It was incredibly hard and that teacher was clueless
Nothing better
I burst to laughter at the first one 😂💔
Reminds me of a funny austrian artist back in 1930s
The second one was more interesting. Anyways I absorb information no matter if you do that or not. But also I get sleepy if there is too much monotone speech. Also I speak monotone almost ever 😂
I think that is commen sense
