OMG. I had only watched it 50 times to determine that the entire at bat was better than "The Natural". Then you go and point that detail out....I was hung up on the split second timing of the crowd after the crack of the bat and the catcher in the bullpen running around with his hands in the air. Win, lose or draw...this is one of the Hogs best moments of any sport.

What an amazing game. Now it's time for the rest of the pitching staff to pick up their game. Can't have Kopps going 3+ innings every game. Get that lead and let him lock it down in the 9th....WPS!!!!

Thanks for having us as great as you guys are for saying we were solid enough to host our own most of us had the mentality “if you wanna be the best, you gotta beat the best” unfortunately we just came up short. Hats off to you guys & I wish you best in the rest of the tournament

Seeing Eric Mussleman in the front row stands cheering on the Hogs in the bottom of the 8th just made me happy. I honestly think all of our Collegiate sports are going to keep improving year after year. It feels like we have a united winning culture taking root regardless of the sport. Maybe I'm just being too optimistic, but I hope I'm right.

It's going to take Pittman a few years to catch up, but yes, United winning culture. This isn't new. In the 90's you would routinely see Nutt and Nolan at a softball game etc.... We're just going back to what works for us.
Unlike the husker fans that gave us that bad rep, as a husker fan, hats off to you Arkansas fans & boys. Y’all fan base is freaking incredible and you’re lineup is as solid as it gets. Thanks for a series to remember. That koppes is a beast. Thank you that even though you ended our season you gave us a finisher to remember. I’ll be rooting for you guys to win it all.

@@gabemeadows4762 Carson Shaddy was a good man and player.We as razorbacks forget the games he won for us in his time at arkansas.The play i know your referring to i have seen MLB players do the same thing many times.Remember we were still ahead after the play.Carson Shaddy and his family were all great razorbacks and we should always look at them in that way.GOD BLESS!
A couple notes on the game
- Worrying to see slaves favor his right leg but it might’ve been from being stepped on at first.
- It was nice to see Franklin draw a walk in the 8th but worrying that he has struck out so many times
- CHARLIE WELCH is the best pinch hitter of all time!
- Kopps is amazing and it’s good to hear that his arm is feeling good after the game
- I love the look that Van horn gives Welch at 9:31
- Jaxon Hallmark has a very punchable face
There is a split second of silence when Charlie hits the ball.......then the crowd realizes what he has done and vocalizes its joy.

If you’ve ever been in arrowhead stadium for a chiefs game I’d imagine this crowd was close to as loud as that for a second, but nothing will beat the noise of arrowhead. It’s absolutely insane how loud it is. Go hogs
