The story begins a million years ago, when a vibranium meteor strikes in the what of modern day africa. Vibranium mis the strongest metal in the universe but it also has a variety of uses, like absorbing vibrations, and whatever else the plot needs to do. Spider-man said it best [that thing doesn't; obey laws of physics at all].
So vibranium is more than just any metal, and it begins to affect the plant life in the region as well. Thousands of years later, 5 tribes settled in this land, and they all fought each other. But then there was a warrior shaman who spoke to the panther goddess Bast-who we see here in The Love and thunder-and she led this shaman to a heart shaped herb/ the herb was imbued with the powers of vibranium, and it gave this man advanced strength, speed, and healing.
Thus he became the first king of wakanda, and united the tribes as one nation. Except for the jabari tribe, who did not worship bast-they worship the gorilla god Hanuman. So they retreated into the mountains where they don;t live under the rule of the king.
Vobfroum made Wakanda the most advanced nation in the world, but they kept their technology hidden from the rest of the world, as the rest of the continent was plagued by s;avery and famine. Myths spread about wakanda, however [klau, they called it el dorado].
The years pass, and a genius adventurer slash scientist named Howard stark travels to wakanda, but is fooled by the deception that they are just a nation of farmers. However he does take a bit of vibranium home with him, which he turns into a shield. [Ultron, strongest metal on earth they made it into a frisbee].
Around this time a scientist named Erskine gives a GI named Steve Rogers a super soldier serum that turns him tino captain america, and the vibranium frisbee becomes his iconic shield. Captain America's best friend was a fellow soldier named James Bucky Barnes, who was presumed dead during the war.
Rogers fought and defeated a Nazi science group called HYDRA, who planned to conquer the world. [cut off one head, etc]. But it turned out HYDRA wasn;t defeated, as their loyal agents infiltrated the American spy agency shield. Hydra secretly brainwashed Bucky and turned him into the super soldier assassin the Winter soldier. In 1991, he assassinated Howard Stark and his wife Maria-this event will have serious repercussions for wakanda years later.
wakanda , meanwhile, has spent decades or centuries sending out spies called war dogs, who infiltrate other countries and report back to their king. In the 1980s, the prince of wakanda, N’Jobu, was sent to the city of oakland california, where he had a son named Erik Stevens. . When he saw how minorities were repressed across the world, he decided to arm them to rise up against their oppressors. [speech he gives his brother]
So he found a mercenary named Ulyses Klau, and told him all of chanda's secrets, including where to steal some of their vibranium,. Klau’s first attempt was a failure, and the Wakandans branded him with a marking that identified him as a thief. However, his second attempt was a success, and he detained a bomb killing many people, and stole tons of vibranium.
Soon, the king of wakanda, T’Chaka, found out about his brother’s treachery, and he confronted him. [why did you do it]. He then revealed that he had another agent, Zuri, spying on his brother. The situation escal;ated quickly, and N'jobu is killed-leaving his son Erik Stevens without a father. But Erik knows the stories of wakanda-heis dad told him all about the secret nation. And he finds his father’s ledger, and he forms a plan to get justice for his family. - Кино

I'd buy it for 120 off if it was formerly 150.
Weird theory. What if Vibranium is the same material the Celestials are made from….. Afterall, such powerful beings need very rare/special material..
Watching this on the Nebula Capsule 2. Not cool, Ryan!
Ugh Queen Romanda’s death was so sad! :( but so happy to know T’Challa had a kid before he passed with Nakia!
Just imagine the information in the video "Everything you need to know before watching AVENGERS: SECRET WARS" 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
hour+ of ryan and doug needing out ? can’t wait
😮👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Doug: "The New Mutants? How are they involved?"
Ryan: *starts crying*
Doug: "Human?"
Ryan: "I can't, I just can't explain it to make sense"
Doug: "It seems that Kevin Feige and Disney just want to sweat every crappy asset under the MCU banner as nerds will always not want to think of themselves as being exploited"
Ryan: sobs uncontrollably
npc comment fr 💀
Or either of the Kang movies
I always wondered why Chadwick looked so beefy in civil war and so much thinner in endgame, now we know...and it sucks, but it justly showed the man's strength and dedication.
Which is why I’m fine with T'Challa being killed off. He played the character while slowing dying presumably to give children in the African-American community a superhero who looks like them which makes him a real superhero.
@@MystifiedBeef absolutely
@@MystifiedBeef So if that's the case why have the character killed? Why not have the character live on so that those same children has a character to look up to? One movie isn't enough for one of the most important characters in the Marvel Universe.
@@anthonyanderson9303 MARVEL Studios decided they weren't going to recast T'Challa in respect for Chadwick , so they decided to just kill him off (in the new upcoming movie ) and the mantel of the Black Panther will be passed on. . .
@@anthonyanderson9303 there will be other Black Panthers. T’Challa is dead, not the Black Panther.
I didn't realize I had missed a small but critical detail in the first Panther movie... When Eric had taken the herb and met with his father in the Spirit Realm, I **completely** missed the significance of the Spirit Realm being outside of the apartment while he was inside speaking with his father. I just took it to be the construct he felt familiar with. I didn't realize that his whole psyche revolved around the fact that no matter what, he was still that same little child holding his dead father. All of his actions - everything about HIM - had never left that moment. 😢
I also took it to mean that, in the broader sense, African Americans were taken away from Africa as slaves, thus disconnecting them from their traditions and knowledge of their ancestors. So while T'challa's experience is in a vast field with ancestors that go back centuries - Eric's experience in the spirit realm only goes back one generation.
@@soniqonline That's an even better description. Eric had no true cultural sense of self, despite his father teaching him. He grew up hearing about it, not immersed in it. It would make logical sense that his experience of the Spirit Realm would be what he knew. And that's kinda how I took it. But Ryan pointing out that the Spirit Realm was right outside the window, like he was in a cage, really flips it around.
@@soniqonline I think you nailed it 😥
"Peter Parker, whoever the hell that is?" got me LMAO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Definitely went over peoples heads.
The name sounds familiar but I just can't remember anything about him!
I was like …… ohhh I get it lol
same thought who the f*ck is peter parker?
No respect for spider man
Love this video. “I never yielded; and as you can see, I am not dead”. I say that now everytime I make it through a challenge. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
they should have gotten another actor to play the role of the black panther that is what they did in fast and the furious
@@PabloRuizMega nah they shouldn’t. At least not until more time has passed. They did right by making people already within the cast a possible new BP. Just like the comics. F&F has no place here.
Want a What if Killmonger wasn't left behind. Being raised along side his cousins. Perfect excuse for a version of him that becomes Black Panther.
I think... I'm ready to bring myself to rewatch Black Panther again.
I have ACTIVELY avoided watching any movie featuring Chadwick since he passed but now, I think I'm ready to do that.
You got this 😢ok ❤
@@pablocook982 thanks. I just finished it. It was sad but I remembered why I still love this movie. Definitely in my top 10 favorite MCU movies.
Watching Wakanda Forever mere hours from now is gonna hit me pretty hard.
The first time I watched it after his passing, I felt as if I was watching a ghost. It was odd. I can't really explain it any better than it felt like watching a ghost.
@@diamond_p it was definitely surreal. The scene of watching him watch the news casting of the King's Passing was difficult as I imagine Chad must've been contemplating his own mortality in hearing about the King dying... after a while, I mentally got back into the groove of watching the movie as I would any other movie but it took a while as when he reappeared in a scene, I defaulted to back to being aware of his passing and the process repeated. It was definitely a process.
ok
I just thought about the fact that Wakanda lost T'Challa and many others, mourned him and some maybe moved on, but then got him back just lose to him again not long after. That is heartbreaking.
Now that you broke that down I didn't think of it in that way. Wakanda went through a lot 😩
So in Infinity War when Bruce asks Tony about the new suit, Tony's answer implies it was his idea rather than giving credit to Shuri. Maybe he got hit before he could finish, but it would have been nice for Tony to give credit where credit was due. I doubt anyone in the audience thought about that at the time; I didn't.
Just got out of seeing it again. And for those who are exited for its official release.
I loved it more the second viewing. And I loved if the first time. So many details that I missed the first. Namor is epic. Cannot wait to see more of him. Riri is fantastic and pumped even more for Ironheart. Angela Basset. Give her an Oscar. I could go on and on. My favorite MCU film, I think. Might be recently bias. It's moving, action packed, and expands the MCU on so many ways.
9/10.
I’m just wondering do they handle the Chadwick’s death well
@@brianburrito2393 Superbly.
Killmonger was such a great villain.
You had the scene of Okoye reporting to the Black Widow, but you failed to mention that she was specifically reporting about an earthquake under the ocean.... Which might not really matter, who knows.
Thank you! I just watched Black Panther again but I don’t have time to watch Infinity War and Endgame before seeing Wakanda Forever on thursday so this video was perfect!
Geez that's great! Now I don't have to rewatch anything before seeing Wakanda. And I totally learned a bunch of stuff I didn't know. Thank you!
I think the only thing you didn't mention was the earthquake in the sea that might be linked to Namor's kingdom.
Ryan Coogler asked about that while writing BP2 and was told that it was just an earthquake.

I'm also living in India bro.
Dude this’s an amazing recap!! Thank you sm🙏🏼 i just finished it & i’m literally on my way to the cinema rn
Bastet or Bas is Egyptian/North African. Hanuman is Hindu. Makes me think the underwater civilization is a stand in for Kumari Kandem or Lemuria. This would be located where the unborn Celestial is. Maybe it's all connected.
This is the first time I've experienced "information overload"😵
You did an awesome job recapping this! You even got some of the Disney series, which weren't movies at all.
Damn, just seeing Chadwick in this is giving me chills
Captain America's beard deserved at least a honorable mention
12:54 "whoever the hell that is"
I got the reference!
This is a crazy helpful video. Great work!
im watching this with someone and they literally love everything about black panther meanwhile me watching this and researching last min so I know what's going on...

SO FRIGGIN‘ HYPED FOR TOMORROW ! ! !
Thought it comes out on the 10?
@@Collect2Disconnect Im mad that they don’t unify it for every location, but in Berlin, Germany there’s tomorrow the first presentation in cinema.
It’s already out in New Zealand
That was fantastic. Love your videos and thank you for making them fun!
I wish I knew how to 🤣 I'm Gen X

Very good. I saw it last night. Wakanda Forever!
Great recap
Good recap. 👍👍
Great run through 👍. Here it's very easy to find your way home from the bush.
This man is Epic!
I wonder if Ryan was trying to tell us something with the clip of Ross saying to Shuri "All the wounds don't just magically heal overnight." With Shuri saying "They do here." Hmmm... who else could this apply to? 🤔😉
Eric?
Thankyou Thankyou ❤
Ty!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Perfect!!
Can’t wait to see this movie
Harm the woman he loves? What!?!?! She defeated him, handily, and his own animal turned against him. No sir. Also, those prisoners were not abandoned. Nakia entrusts them to someone, asking that person to get them to safety.
Thank you for this correction!
“And to help Peter Parker, who ever the hell that is”😂😂
Excellent review Ryan always love your thought ,and analysis love the first movie ,and hidden messages even more . Iam so proud of the cast ,and crew this is monument, and I look forward to number 2! Wakanda forever🙅🏽♂️🖤
Thanks man....
The only thing that you missed that I picked up on was that you said Thanos from another timeline fought in thr final war; but it was Thanos from that timeline that jumped forward in time that fought. Only 1 timeline. Another was created when he jumped forward, but we never saw any part of it. And Thanos actually said this! There were 2 Gamoras from 2 points of only 1 timeline that we saw. The timeline created was never featured in the movie. Loki, too, created a timeline that was never seen in the movie, but we see it exist very briefly in the Loki show.
you didn’t have to do pietro like that 😭
the little laser projector after the deal is still $680 plus shipping.
Thats a lot of money for it to only work for a movies length of time
That went very fast and was kinda confusing, but I'm gonna watch the movie soon, so I needed this lol 😂
Rest in peace Chadwick!
🙌🏾🙏🏾
im so excited for BP2
The Peter Parker reference lol 😂
Who?
Who is Peter Parker?? Too funny!
Always see these videos after I watch them but i finally made it to one
Hahaha... I love the "Peter Parker" line... Lol. Well done...
I love how you “don’t know” who Peter Parker is 😂lol
Ok I love your videos and they’re very informative but who references Martin Freeman as Tim from the office over Bilbo Baggins ??
Omg thanks you must for this but can you tell me the movies in order so I could watch them in order to better understand them
0:26
well kinda not true considering Thanos' sword(uru metal) broke it😁
Lol yeah I think he meant to say strongest metal on earth
As an English man, I was completely sold on that projector being "under £2". I was unpleasantly surprised to discover it's true price.
Well done, Sir. You deserve a beer😛
00:26
I don't want to be annoying, but I'll do it anyway. Vibranium is not the strongest metal in the universe of the MCU. Uru is (it is used for Mjölnir, Stormbreaker, the infinity gauntlet, and part of the double blade of Thanos (which broke Captain America's Vibranium shield)). My apologies for this annoying comment, I couldn't resist🙃.
WAKANDA FOREVER !!!
Two months later I know, but I'm stuck on how the battery life of the projector wouldn't actually be long enough to watch the movie this video is prepping us for. That's just too funny
Personally I thought that Wakanda should've stayed in the shadows & not shown their tech & resources...look @what happens when...T'challa let his decision be influenced by Nakia instead of thinking bout his nation...Nakia is a war dog, she didn't understand the complexity of being a king in Wakanda. She was thinking emotionally instead of logically...T'challa, being a new king was trying to impress Nakia & get back love. He doesn't think straight when Nakia is around, the first film showed us that...ijs
Agreed
5:55 LOL
Yes
I love these videos. Only wish it was twice as long lol.
