I plan getting a locator/tracker , does it have to be compatible with the unit I bought or can it operate independently?

We don't have locator for selling. But our 512hz transmitters can match any other brands' locator. And the transmitter will work automatically When machine is on.😉

Can you tell me how to pair the keyboard. And do I need to press anything to set up .
Also how do I record on usb but save a copy on the 1tb built in storage .

Thanks for your comment, let me answer your question:
1. Ours is a wireless keyboard. You only need to plug in two AA dry batteries at the back and push the switch to ''on'' to connect automatically.
2. We have no built-in storage, you can directly connect your own USB flash drive and the video will be saved directly to the USB flash drive. What the video means is that our machine supports up to 1TB of external storage devices.

When the SD card and USB are inserted together, files will be stored in USB first@@PlumbEm 😄
