I love how they’re like “these are all about play games” 😂 but literally when I was “dating” or like talking to people before I was in a relationship it was all about that. Not like playing a game with their feelings or anything like that, but like “playing a game” in a sense where you want to “appear” a certain way. Like I always didn’t want to appear “too available” desperate or clingy. So I had certain rules I put on myself. I guess I was playing a game in a sense because I wasn’t 100% myself. But I was always like, the person who really wants to meet me, will meet me eventually and that’s when I let my walls down and let them in because they had put in all that initial effort. Idk if it was the “right” thing to do, but that’s what I did and I have a boyfriend now so must have done something right 😂

I find it awfully intimidating how messed up this generation is, and what's more miserable is to dare and think we will find AND fall in true love, in this day and age.. the advice not just here, but everywhere on the internet, is always oscillating between keeping your guards up, to gaslighting, to treachery, to trashy mind games just to 'acquire'. What's funny though is majority of these people are hurt from deep within and lash out with extreme corrective measures that do more damage than good, kinda like to even the scores on the hurt chart. The rest just join in mindlessly to spill BS cuz this is content seriously consumed and thereby lucrative. Horrific and depressing! How did we turn into a bunch of hateful cynics when all we ever went out looking for, was love? I think as a believer myself and in reference to you both Jess and Gabriel, watching these kind of relationship advise videos will be difficult to watch because it’s not in align of what we know. These videos are something more around normal for people living those sort of lifestyles. Where we tend to view relationships and marriage as a gift from God. There is no room to play games in a God focused relationship.
