This was fun to watch. Over the course of about 30 years, I had 3 different IQ Tests done in different situations, and funny enough, all three came within a few points of each other. Great job, you two!

As someone who administers IQ assessments to students (I’m a school psychologist), this was so fun to watch 😂 it was like hearing what’s going on in my kiddos’ heads while they’re thinking. They don’t think aloud with me around lol
What is your opinion of the test, featured in this video? Frankly, I thought that the whole thing was pretty much a scam. I seriously doubt that a test, that consists of only twenty multiple-choice questions, would even come close to being a reliable measure of IQ; and people are being charged money for the results.

Super fun! It is good to know, however, that it is impossible to get a real IQ score with this type of test. A real IQ test assesses 5 different areas of intelligence and combines all the skills to get a score - this one only tested something called "quantitative reasoning" which is a math type/nonverbal type of intelligence (how people are able to work with shapes, numbers and patterns. There are a lot of other skills that a real IQ test measures. So if anything, we know that Jess is higher than Gabe (perhaps) in that area, but it is possible that Gabe still has a higher IQ than Jess if they took a real test (which can only legally be given by someone licensed to give them). Couldn't help myself but to clarify that:) Love these videos!

@@foreverbtsxxx Real and realiable IQ tests are super long (take a few hours) and can only be administered by a licensed professional in person! Frustrating I know, but that's what makes it so accurate:)
Guys, please keep in mind that this is not an actual valid IQ-test. I administer IQ tests (such as WISC-V and WAIS) as part of my job every week and these questions only cover a specific part of a validated IQ test, namely logical reasoning. Also, you shouldn't practice for an IQ-test, as it does not intend to measure the knowledge you've learned but your general cognitive skills and capabilities with new information...
I have always wondered this! These internet tests are usually not that many Qs, and I never understood how 20 or so Qs could dictate your intelligence! I imagined the valid ones were much longer... makes more sense!

For question 15 my brain immediately jumped to multiply by 2, subtract 3 which also works. Curious how everyone comes up with the pattern in their own way!

OMGGG JESSSSSS YOURE SMART!!! hmmm, maybe that explains your aura of humility. I’ve noticed that the smarter the woman the more reserved and humble she appears. Not always the case, but I’ve seen this be the case most times. Hey Jess, you might want to look into giftedness, you might learn about yourself and feel comforted by the common experience of gifted women. And also, 145 is borderline genius. But 130 is considered gifted.
