  • The review of Pentacon 50mm F1.8 M42 vintage manual prime lens. It was reviewd using the Panasonic Lumix S5 (DC-S5) full frame mirrorless camera with image-stabilization system. The test is in 4K 30p resolution. It shows the handling, lens flare and ghosting in backlight, corner sharpness with various apertures, vignetting and other properties.

    I have a question I have a helios 44-2 and a 44-4.Should I buy this pentacon lens? I found a good one for $40.

      I would stick to Helios lens (I think it has better optical quality).
