I’ve been using the Revlon One Styler for about 4 month and love it! I can dry/style my hair so much faster the first day and then the next day if I want I can do beachy waves or just leave it. So convenient for traveling!! One of my best styling tool buys! 😊

This thing has changed my life, and I am not prone to hyperbole. I have nearly the very same hair texture as you do, Marnie. I also find that it turns out the best if I use this thing on wet hair, right out of the towel. Rough drying it first does kick up the frizz. The whole process takes me 15 minutes, and the frizz stays at bay all day long, which is a first for me. I tend to use pretty low end styling products, so there, we differ, but I can get the same amazing results. Thanks for sharing your routine!

I’ve had mine since Christmas and I love it! I have chin-length hair and it does a great job smoothing my hair. I only use a flatiron occasionally where I had to use it every time I dried my hair with a traditional blow dryer. I only use the low heat setting to dry my hair and follow with the cool setting at the end.

Hi, dear lady!! I watched this video and loved your results, so purchased one myself. I did exactly what you did and my hair came out FANTASTIC!!! I did it this morning and now12 hrs later, it still looks PERFECT. Haven't even had to comb it!! It took less than 15mins and no iron needed. I can throw out all my flat and curling irons. I was SHOCKED that it WORKED my FIRST TRY!!! LOTS of body and shine, stays in place with minimal hairspray on crown and fringe. I LOVE the way it frames my face and NO MORE FLATNESS on my crown!!! Thank you so much for this life changing tutorial and recommendation!!!!! ❤💐❤🌼❤🌷❤

So glad to see this - perfect timing for me! I purchased this last week after Lisa J's tutorial. Ulta was offering 350 bonus points on a $50 purchase and I was able to get the last one in my store. I have used it twice and I do like it but the T3 dryer was still a nicer blowout for me. I purchased this for travel and I know it will be great on the go but your method for drying the top of your hair is exactly what I needed to see. Can't wait to use mine again now - thanks!

Great tips Marnie!! I recently purchased this as well - after watching a ton of rave reviews on RUclips of course !! I absolutely love this product as well, I am like you too! I could do makeup up all day but it when it comes to my hair, I would just like to get it done so I can get out the door in a hurry. I think that your tips about drying only the wet sections at a time are really helpful as well as twirling the brush on the end to get the job done faster are excellent!! Your hair looks fabulous!

Hey Marnie~ My hair is to my collar bone, dry, fine, curly, wiry, frizzy; it's got a mind of its own.... My ability to do my hair makes you look like the consummate professional with years of experience. That is before today and my watching your video. I actually bought the Revlon One Step and returned it because all my hair did was frizz. To be honest, I've only had one professional blow-out that I thought wasn't too bad (they always give up trying to get rid of the frizz...). Usually I'm battling with a blow dryer, round brush, two hair irons, and burned fingers. I'd watched dozens of One Step videos here on RUclips, some by professional stylists. It wasn't until I watched your video - this one - that it all finally made sense to me. I got another One Step and just used it for the first time. I got one freakin' awesome blowout! Even the parts that frizz really badly are smooth and sleek! Thank you... thank you... thank you!
Some things I did given your process, which I followed exactly, and your comments: (1) I dried each section from at least two angles - horizontally from the bottom and from the top, and sometimes also vertically - from one side or both; (2) I started on High, went down to Medium, and finished on Cool (which hardly feels cool to me); (3) on the especially frizzy parts around my hairline I dried the section from all four planes - bottom, top, right, and left; (4) I used the two longer flatter sides of the brush to straighten and smooth, and I used the two shorter rounded ends of the brush to curl the ends, going quickly over the side I didn't want (the shorter side when I was trying to straighten and smooth) and more slowly over the side I wanted (the longer side when I was trying to straighten and smooth) - and the reverse when I was trying to curl the ends. I let the One Step do all the work, which is the complete opposite of what I usually have to do.
I will be trying some of the products you talked about - Aveda Brilliant Damage Control and Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment, and maybe the Aveda Smooth Infusion Styling Cream. Thank you for sharing... all of it!

    3. Almost bought a FAR more expensive option...thank you for saving me from myself
    4. You’d look great in a bob. Or a burlap sack for that matter (southern speak)

    5. Love the dance music

I received this dryer in December. My hair is shoulder length, thick and straight as a stick. It takes a long time to dry so I either have to wash my hair at least an hour or more before I use it or partially dry with my old blow dryer. I find the high setting is Very Hot! But overall I like the ease of using this product and the volume, sleek results and that it doesn’t get tangled in my hair. Drying small sections is definitely the best technique. Thanks for the tip about blowing with the cool setting to finish!

I need to practice sectioning off my hair, but I did it best I could, and I have thick, wavy hair and a tad longer than yours. My hair came out GREAT! nice, smooth and no frizz (which is my worst enemy, living in Washington State). Don’t sell yourself short. I’ve been a licensed stylist for 15 years. I can’t round brush my own hair. This tool is great! I have two at home for myself and my two daughters. We love them and I do recommend them so long as people are using quality heat protectants.

Hi Kelly, are you still using your brush hair dryer? I bought one and in the first used it left my hair lifeless, dry and with a lot of frizz.
What heat protectant do you use?

I absolutely LOVE mine. Best investment i have made. I have very thick hair and sectioning your hair is key. I used to dread drying my hair. No more. Learned a few tips. Thanks!

We have the same hair texture and this tutorial is the best I’ve seen. I just did my hair and it came out great as if I went to the hair salon. Thanks!

Very impressed with how beautiful this made your hair. I would be tempted to buy this but do not think I am coordinated enough.

I got mine at Ulta during the 20 percent off sale - I love it! Haven’t used my regular dryer since. Thank you for doing his video - it was so helpful in giving me tips! I want to try those aveda products too!

My hair is just about identical to yours even the style! Lol so I’m definitely going to purchase one! And you did a great job! By the way I work for Ulta and the return policy is to take back everything if not happy 😃

I have really been liking it because my hair is very thick and coarse. However, I still need to practice with the bangs because of all the cowlicks. I've been amazed at how smooth it makes my unruly hair.

This is the best hairdryer brush ever. My hair is about an inch or so shorter and it works awesome. I can’t do a regular round brush blow out to save my life. This is the best.

Love all your videos.❤️I got this dryer in December and have not picked up my T3 once since then. I was very pleasantly surprised because I’ve tried a lot of different dryers and stylers. I have thick, coarse, wavy hair and I have never been able to just dry my hair and go. Well, now I can...life changer for me. I almost want to pick up a second one as backup....that’s how much I LOVE it. Thank you Marnie for all your wonderful videos, great tips and dedication to your channel. Hugs from Toronto 😘

I have curly hair too (maybe a little curlier than yours) and I am enjoying the Revlon dryer as well. I wash my hair at night. I let my hair dry a good bit naturally then I use the Revlon dryer. I find that when I first use it (on low heat) my hair will be frizzy but if I leave it alone and let the hair cool, the frizz calms down and my hair turns out great!

Gorgeous Marnie. Just received mine today. I have chin length hair. Didn’t quite realize how big it is so I am hoping it will work for me. I do want the no curl look. I’ll see I guess. Thanks for showing us.

I love this tool. My hair is a little shorter than yours, very fine, and I can get a good blow out that lasts for a couple of days. I learned some new techniques this morning. Thank you!
