      @@AllThingsFunHydrographics I know the best way to do it would be to get setup with a proper tank but is there a way to achieve a decent quality dip in a tub/tote/pond setup just to test the local market before I dive it o a full setup?

    Has anyone joined the Patreon and found it worth it? I’ve never hydrodipped before but I’m a college student trying to find a small side income and trying to see if this hobby is worth it.
    I’ve seen very video in this play list and so far he is a great! So is his courses on there fully explanatory of the process and how to get started?

      How plausible do you think my idea is of doing this to make a side income as a college student? Just doing basic items like Controllers, cups, phone cases, etc.

    Do you paint your parts without doing any prep? No sandblasting, sanding on anything?

      We prep everything, and yes it all gets sand blasted. We have an entire video all about prep for hydro dipping.

    I have a question. Have you ever actually used the OHW spray cans or do you just recommend them because they're your sponsor? I switched to them from dip bite based on your recommendation, but found that it is a horrible paint. Pretty sure more paint got on my floor than the parts. And it took two full cans just to barely cover the parts for 1 gun. I switched because I found that the dip bite dripped too much. So I figured I'd try this since you recommend it in pretty much every video. But I found that with this, to get any coverage at all, you have to be right next to the part and then this drips too. If I'm going to get drips anyways I'd rather use the dip demon since at least it didn't take 2 cans to cover with that... any thoughts on why the OHW cans are so bad? Am I doing something wrong? Not sure what else I could do though... I'm not big enough to get into the air sprayer things so the cans will have to do, I just wish I could get better coverage without the dripping.

    • @AllThingsFunHydrographics
      @AllThingsFunHydrographics  3 года назад

      I use the cans literally every day and never have those issues. I will make a video about the correct way to spray OHW paint for you.
