My cats love those paper "scarves" more than the boxes. 😸 I agree with you about the social anxiety being higher now after being inside for so long. I feel like my interactions are so much more awkward! Recently I've been reading through the Throne Of Glass Series, I'm on book 4 and loving this book journey so far. Thanks for the video! You want some book love? I recently reread my favorite trilogy no one talks about: Airs beneath the moon, Airs and Grace, Airs of night and sea by Toby Bishop. It's about a girl who by accident gets to ride a winged horse in a world where winged horses and the women who ride them have one of the highest status. But the prince of the land has his own plans for the horses.
I just love it. I love the tension and the characters and just being in the world. It might be a little hard to get in there in the first book but it's totally worth it!

Oh gods, so, I love hoping up Gideon the Ninth because I ADORE that book. But also I’m always terrified of doing it because it’s such a controversial book, it just isn’t for everyone. It’s absolute chaos, very confusing, sometimes very slow, and many get the feel it’s trying too hard to be quirky and edgy. But if you’re intrigued by lesbian necromancers trying to solve puzzles in a decadent manor in space while people are being killed, then I would say give it a go and see for yourself.

honestly most vamnpire stories i feel a bit meh about but omg you need to read orange marmalade its amazinggg, its a webtoon on the webtoon app not a book but its still pretty incredible and there's friendship and character growth and feels and its just awesome.

Illumicrate really is the best bookbox!! Also - I am not a vampire book fan, but The Beautiful is more about the story than about any vampires. They are there, but they are just characters in the story, the story is not about "vampires" - does that make sense? It's a book with vampires, but not a vampire-y book. Try it - I really liked it. My favorite book I've read so far this year is Ashes of the Sun by Django Wexler - a very underrated fantasy with a brother and sister. I would never read his military fantasy series (not my thing), but this was so fun. His world building is perfection and I fell in love with so many of the characters. I recommend this book to everyone right now but still haven't seen it on Booktube anywhere.

Just finished Red white and royal blue. I loved every second. I gave it 4.9 stars. Only reason it wasn’t 5 was because it was quite predictable at times but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it and if anything added to the experience.

I read The Beautiful and I honestly can't remember much about it. I thinked that I liked it and I don't think the vampire premise wasn't around that much. (I just checked my review of it on Goodreads and I said something along the lines of "I liked it, good plot with the murdur mystery thing, BUT the vampire [art tried to hard to be present.") All of the books you showed in the video seem like a lot of fun, will have to put them on my tbr. Happy reading!

Not sure if it's up your alley (and I can't remember if you've read it already or not) but I recently finished Catherine House on audiobook and I gave it 5 stars!
The last book I absolutely loved so much was Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman!! HIGHLY recommend

You should absolutely read Gideon the Ninth. It's become one of my faves. It has LGBT rep, a great plot and amazing characters! The first book feels slightly fantasy-mystery-sci-fi but apparently Harrow gets more Sci-Fi.
Mason jars are literally amazing as glasses tho. I could spend like 20 dollars on regular glasses from bed bath and beyond or just clean out the coconut oil jar I finished and get a whole glass for free. 🌎♻️

i just finished “captain marvel higher further faster”. i apsolutly adored it. it is kinda based on the movie, but it takes place before so you do not have to have senn it to be able to enjoy the book.
