I got my Ranger with the 3.0 V6 Diesel here in Brazil. It had 250 hp and 440 lb.ft for torque. Ours are rated for 2300 lbs load capacity in the bed and 7700 lbs towing. My Ranger is the Limited+ edition, which has the same 12.3 instrument cluster as the F150, and the 12" center screen. It came with 20 inch wheels. I just have it 2 months and only have driven it 3500 miles, but I'm very satisfied for now. It was a big upgrade from my S10 (Colorado) with the baby Duramax 2.8 diesel.
Love your straight up video's. We just got a 24 ranger xlt w sport, tech and tow packages. 39800.00 MSRP for 37800.00 which was 500. under invoice. Drives extremely well and I tested the Canyon/ Colorado, Frontier and Tacoma. The Ranger was a Clear winner for her overall refinement, size and cost. I went thinking I was going to get the Frontier and was disappointed on how tiny it felty w terrible mechanical steering and the Tacoma was just an overpriced very loud cabin at 75mph. I really liked the GMs especially the Canyon (best looking) but at 46k no way and just felt a little more comfy in the Ford. The Canyon came in second and was about 500.00 more but had a few less options.
Im stuck between this decision because the ranger would be so much more easy to drive and still do most of the stuff the f150 can do but when you look at the pricing some dealership are selling f150s below msrp for like 45k! I already have a 2018 f150 i dont know if i want another big truck😂😂😂
It’s a hard choice but if I was already with the F150 I probably would go back to it. We had two rangers so the upgrade to the F150 we never needed the extra power or space.
So im comparing the Ranger Lariet with v6 and f150 xlt 302A package with 3.5 The Ranger stickered at 52,600 and the f150 with black out etc was just over 63 but saw couple incentives end of month putting it just over 50k. Probably going to see if end of the month is going to be similar, but i sure liked driving that Ranger in v6
@@ms1406 this was another reason I wanted to show them next to each other. Both are awesome trucks but most my not need the extra power and size of the truck. On the other hand the F150 is an awesome value that you can do more with a bigger savings.
Great review Anthony. For me it would be the Ranger for sure. I agree with you that the F150 and the rest of the full sized trucks are just too big especially when you think about parking. For 62 grand Ford should have thrown in a bedliner and back step for crying out loud lol! Plus the difference between payloads on each is very minimal. We only got up to 96 here and I did have to go out but my AC and cooled seats kept me nice and comfy. How are things on your side? I hope that it's not too hot and that you are doing great.
Yeah the Ranger is my pick but my go to would be the Colorado. It has savings and better everyday work use. Ford makes a great truck and I am a huge fan of the coyote v8. That is hot, it was around the same here (95 🥵lol). I had a couple meetings one with Land Rover/ Jaguar (another team) and I am now part of my home owners community (CDD). I am also working on bring some other brands to the channel. Tomorrow I’m hoping to get the Hummer EV, we have it scheduled which I’m really excited about. I’m not a ev fan but this suv is awesome. Happy Wednesday James
@@HawkeyeRides I would pick the Colorado as well or the Ridgeline. If it did come down to a Ranger it would have to be the Raptor😁I've never owned a Ford with the coyote V8. My F150 and Expedition both had the 4.6 which had plenty of power. Oh the Hummer should be so crazy to drive. Doesn't it have like 1,000 horsepower or so? Fun stuff! Happy Wednesday to you as well Anthony. IHave a good one
We have limited budget in upper sixties will not be towing a lot ! Need back seat - something that won’t fall apart ! No higher then 40 grand ! Recommend for me! Please want decent seats the basics 4 drive verse 2 drive yes I am a female and my knowledge is not in ve history so asking for donations of knowledge ! Thank you!
Keep all the turbo crap, I bought the f150 to get the naturally aspirated v8. My last 4 trucks were Toyotas but they did away with the v8 so I did away with them.
@@HawkeyeRides what I meant was the Ranger isn't as well equipped as the Explorer Sport Trac. Which has a split rear seat and vents for back seat passengers! Design wise a step backwards!

The XLT F-150 offers soo much more for about the same price, no wonder Rangers aren't selling!
@@michaelharris8228 I agree
Yea tru because most f150’s Are not selling for msrp

@@jameswalsh6131 the performance looks crazy and it has a cool 2 axel steering.
Which one is faster?
4 cylinder Ranger is slow
6 cylinder Ranger is faster then the v6 f150
Thanks 👍
Hola, el f150 xlt 5.0 v8 puede ser equipado con el paquete de apariencia negro , idéntico a este que muestras en el video ?

Get a mid size pickup truck, if you only use it for home a Ranger or Colorado will be fine. Maybe 2-3 years old and it should be a great deal for you.
The maverick would be better than bo of them I will not have anything with a turbo

The Ranger makes no sense, one look convinced me!
They are nice but it may not fit everyone’s needs 👍

In Upper Michigan the Ranger fits better on the trails where I want to fish
