Here's my *Iron Fist Season 2 Ending* and Season 3 Teaser video! Let me know what you thought of Season 2 in general and what you're most hype about for Daredevil Season 3! New Flash and Marvel posting soon!
I mean same honestly but, i kinda like her personality and she seems nice person. And yeah that thing with the sword was awesome. Same goes for Randy with the bullets, and maybe mech can also learn something
Season 1: "I am Danny Rand, The Immortal Iron Fist, protector of K'un-Lun and sworn enemy of the Hand." Season 2: "I don't know, it's-it's complicated."
Did you notice that Davos tried to give Danny the same move he gave to the hatchets leader in order to cause a stroke?? It was immediately after that move Davos's father looked towards his mother extremely concerned. I think this has something to do with him stopping the fight, as if it was a dishonorable tactic. I do not think it was a coincidence that Davos performed the move on the hatchet leader and Danny in the same episode. Perhaps it was nothing, but on second viewing that definitely stuck out to me. What do you think?!?!
isnt it that davos' mother tought that technique to davos sothat he might win the fight vs danny but faid which also adds up why davos' mother was so agry at him fo failing to execute the move . which lead to the father noticing that the mother had private sesions with davos
@@kunda5302 But when Danny saw the injury on Mr Yang he told Colleen that only 2 people know how to do that move. Which is him (Danny) and Davos. So it means theres no private lessons and Danny was equally taught the same move that causes a stroke.
Jack Duggan She's a daredevil character originally from everything I've been reading about her, so it makes the most sense to really expand on her there.
Am I the only one who thought this season was amazing?? it was way better than season 1. Yes the show wasn't fully focused on Danny, but I think they did a fantastic job on the character development of pretty much everyone.. THe actress who played Typhoid Marry was brillinat, I was sold on how she could be the calculative tough walker to the sweet, friendly and energetic Marry. I still couldn't believe it. Though I am disappointed that we didn't see her use her superpowers. .. I love Ward's character development was amazing how he tried so hard to maintain his relationship with Joy. Joy was freaking stunning (lookwise). I really think Misty was awesome in Ironfist than in Luke cage and the fight choreography and editing were done much better. Daavos get a better backstory, I could relate to Daavos's situation as I know many people with the similar situations, having parents who are too strict, wanting you to be the best and unforgiving. Not being true to their children. Where I come, I totally get Daavos's situation. I think overall this season did amazing. Sure Danny was realy bad iron fist here but the show says the iron fist which is a title not Danny's real name. So in essense I am happy with Collen being the new Iron fist, this was fresh!! Something new.. I liked the bonding between Danny and ward, I wish I could see the same between Foogy and Matt..
I thought the season was weak. Lots of side characters and irrelevance and not much iron fist. Mary was good and I like Ward. Then the whole dragon transfer, do I want it don't I nonsense. And after all that we get a glowing sword and Danny shooting chi bullets. Seemed rushed.
Shit, like the flash..we are the flash..oh god.. Iris saying that made me want to quit the show. I'm ready for her to go back to her newspaper job and staying there..foreverrrr.
I hated that Danny was constantly sidelined in favor of Colleen. She didn't earn the fist either just like Davos didn't. Danny is the true iron fist and why they are making him so weak is beyond me. The guns are cool, but come on, it's HIS show.
clovis2012 I know exactly what you’re saying... If you’ve read the best IronFist comics the show has been complete sacrilege so far. Total miss characterization on every level. This season was better but is still not anywhere near what the character deserves at all. He’s supposed to be able to go toe to toe with literally anyone in the marvel universe, literally the best fighter in the entire marvel u; should HANDLE everyone in a strait up fist fight other than like MAYBE Davos who is also portrayed as kind of a rube in this btw. The actor playing him is great and as a matter of fact none of the actors are the issue. They’ve also lost this elemental thing with Davos being much larger than Danny physically representing more of a challenge and obstacle in the he can match him blow for blow but is literally bigger. It’s more archetypal.
this season sucked ass from like episode 5 onwards when danny "lost" the fist, I was hoping him getting it back without the ritual and showing it in a final clash with davos....but no colleen ruined everything
Erm did you not watch the series. David never submitted during the fight to see who faces the Dragon so you could argue that Danny did not earn the fist either.
"she didn't earn the fist" Ignoring the fact that she's a descendant from someone that has something to do with the fist itself. Almost sounds like you didn't pay attention to the fucking show.
She did not earn the fist. Davos did not either. Danny punched Shao-Lao in the heart and took his power. I don't remember D and C fighting a dragon, do you? Doesn't matter who she's related to, the fist isn't hereditary. Unless they want to go that route and make it official in season 3 and cheapen the fist even further. At this point, I don't put any fuckery past the dipshit writing team.
Colleen didn't need the Fist to be badass, she already was, and the Fist was honestly just stupid on her. I'm really confused how they both have it now.
It seems all iron fist have yellow glow so why did davos have red and Colleen white? Gives it a Green lantern vibe. Too much talking not enough fighting in the series. I'd love to see Mary fight the Punisher.
Firebrand I disagree the sword and guns were dope to me. But part of me thinks when I see a name and pic like yours Firebrand that your just trying to troll. Im guessing you Hop around say a short negative comment with a fake name and pic. you know troll work lol
I agree the bullets did not look great. There were a couple spots this season where the CGI looked a bit weak. I wonder if they had a lower budget due to the reaction of the first season?
I’m still in awe at how badly Iron Fist season 2 treated Danny Rand and the lore of Iron Fist after episode 4. This isn’t the Colleen Wing Show. If that’s what they want, make a Daughters of the Dragon TV show. You don’t get the Iron Fist because of who your great-grandmother x10 was. You get it because you earn it. “Colleen’s so pure and good and better than me and should have the Iron Fist because I suck”. Get. That. Shit. Out. Of. My. Face. They bent to the Danny Rand hate and now they’ve botched it. Bravo. I see now that this was never gonna be full blown Iron Fist, with K’un-Lun, Dragons, Immortal Weapons etc., because these shows are always going to be cheap, and yeah, that’s disappointing. But they didn’t need to trash all over the character and lore.
mm sjw crap it makes no sense at all in terms of the story.. she was already f*ckin' awesome badass character... giving her the iron fist was just forced feminism... F8ck the worlrd....
It was character development. Her and misty will be teaming up again eventually as the daughters...and they'll have their own private investigation company called KnightWing (get it?)
I definitely respect your complaint /concern... But Colleen Wing & the Actress who plays her is bad ass. I definitely think there's a Daughter's of the dragon segment coming (if they don't do an entire season). I just wanna see a full blown iron fist lighting up both hands & both feet, kicking ass like it's nobody's business!
I thought this season was a huge step forward. The acting, directing, and fight choreography was a huge step up to me. And the inclusion of mary, orson, the pirate queen, and wards development sets up for a great next season. The ability to use both fists and channel through weapons is a huge boost as well. I think that most the people who didnt like season 1 and the effects they used for the hand had an issue with the bullets but me personally I seen a bullet that was glowing with chi obliterate a regular bullet so im happy with the concept and thought colleens sword and a gunned out iron fist was sick. I am curious what suggestion people would have for the bullets tho with actual constructive criticism and not some answer that shows your a troll like' " just make them better ."
S2 was most DEF a HUGE improvement from S1!! The action scenes were engaging and entertaining, the marvel humor was there, and each character had their own arc which connected all the stories together pretty well!! The actor who played Davos really played his character well, i felt uneasy with him throughout the second half of the season!! Danny was DEF a more mature, and well developed character from S1 and they did a good job further developing him throughout S2!! Ward was DEF the highlight of the season!! Misty's cameo was awesome and was really great seeing her and Collen work together!! SO hyped for S3!!
I think after this season you cannot say that Misty had a cameo. She had just as much as a storyline as every other characters. She was basically a main cast. Unlike Wing in s2 Luke Cage that was an cameo haha
Finn Jones isn't a solid actor yet, he was exposed in season 1 by the weak writing. He could not elevate the script with his acting. I like the choice they made to turn this show into an ensemble cast, while keeping him the central character, it doesn't rely on him to carry the show this season, and the writers made Danny more likeable this season which helped Finn with his portrayal of Danny. I think Iron Fist season 2 has the best handling of a large cast amongst Marvel Netflix's series, they finally learned how to juggle around the characters like a soap opera, it's the way that X-Men: The Animated Series did well with handling a large ensemble cast and being able to develope the characters while progressing the story without using the characters as plot devices, you can see the difference in Misty Knight, she was used as a plot devices in The Defenders season 1, but in Iron Fist season 2, the writers took where Misty left off in season 2 of Luke Cage and progress her character development while progressing the story, before Misty was use to setup elements of the storyline, she was often use to help the lead or supporting characters to lay out the exposition, without any development of her character. The same could be said of Karen in season 1 of Daredevil and Trish and Malcolm in season 1 of Jessica Jones, those characters were also used as plot devices. I believe those characters suffered for being used so poorly by the writers, which made those characters come off as annoying or unbelievable with their reaction to situations and interactions with other characters. I believe the writing for this season progressed the characters development within the story has improved in an organic, and more natural way compared to the previous season, like how the characters react to situations and how they interacted with each other was more believable. I just thought the main storyline could have been better, I give season 2 of Iron Fist a B.
I was kind of put off that Colleen got the Fst for keeps, thinking it kind of like sidelining the main character, so I was really glad Danny had it back at the end, or the epilogue. Also, was thinking during the show that it would be cool if they could channel the Fist through weapons, so was pretty hyped to see Colleen do it, but I was NOT prepared for Danny to do the same! That was pretty awesome! All and all, a drastic improvement from season one, from the acting to the action and definitely the villains, both Davos and Mary, and Mary was pretty cool in particular. The only downside I felt the season had was Colleen getting all emo about training Danny, forcing them apart. I felt that was all pretty contrived. But the positives completely outweigh the negatives! It was a great season and I had a great time!
Ward, Mary/Walker/??? and Misty had some of best character development in this series in my opinion. I miss Madam Gao. I’m so happy about how much fight scene we’re in this season, and they were really really awesome too.
7 reasons. I'm hyped abt Daredevil S3 Because this season will show the reason why Daredevil is the face, foundation and the front runner for the Marvel Netflix franchise. Because this season is gonna show why this guy is ranked amongst some of the greatest Marvel characters. because this season will show why he's called the man without fear. This season will show how fearless this Character/Superhero is, & why Daredevil takes the leap of faith into danger in a heartbeat. Also because this season unlike most parts of S2 which was still great, Matt was tied up with personal affairs & was still figuring out where he was so we didn't get to see him tapping into the true potential of his abilities. Also because this season will show what makes being daredevil so damn awesome, and why this guy's awesome abilities allowed him to go up against characters like hulk Cap & claw in the comics. And because S3 will show us how his timeless abilities & fearless personality could easily make us fans couldn't get enough of him on the big screen.
Airbreaker42 okay well here’s the thing, I wouldn’t be surprised if By the end of season 3 Danny has a suit, if he goes to Orson Randall for the History and the book and embraces the culture he’s probably gonna have a suit soon, I think they teased it with Davos having the mask on, either way this season had such a Ragnarok approach to it
No lol His father was obsessed with finding the ancient city. He knew it was real in the comics having been there before. There is a limited window of time to get there. Of course the show has sucked so far and does no justice to those great books so it’s no wonder you’re confused.
I don't like that Colleen was given the Iron Fist. She never earned it and despite being a good fighter, she is not as strong as Danny in terms of skill and physical attributes (The guy literally broke his leg and within weeks if that, he was up and fighting again). I hope Colleen's possession of the Fist is temporary, and that in season 3 she gets in over her head leading to Danny to return as a more knowledgeable warrior and Iron Fist and rightfully takes back the Fist which he earned. I don't care if Colleen had an Iron fist for a relative, that does not entitle her to anything. It's the same with Davos, he was raised his whole life to be the Iron Fist, but that doesn't mean he was entitled to the Fist. Danny was chosen by the Elder's for a reason over Davos, and I think the show should tell us why, and stop making Danny look like he is a useless Iron Fist.
danny survives a plane crash, family murdered by the hand, trains his whole life to be the immortal iron first. (Forever enemy of the hand.) Kills a dragon. Season 2: woah colleen i need like a teacher to help me ! you used to work for the hand but it's super cool now we are lovers. Lets get an ancient cereal bowl some tattoo artist and the power just transfers right over. Meanwhile the bad guy Davos is killing gangsters ( more bad guys ) oh know we have to stopppp him !!! He's killing all the bad guys up! Best writing ever.
I agree as well, I thought that when they revealed that Danny was wanting Colleen to have the fist that Colleen would talk Danny some sense and let him have the fist again. In fact, each episode that they were treading on it, even the episode they did the ceremony I kept hoping that they would give the give the fist back to Danny. Overall I feel like their decision was SJW orientated, and doesn't make since with the character.
i hope they make danny more confident in season 3, he seemed like he was still struggling with being a leader. colleen wing, ward, misty knight were the best parts of the series imo.
Ikr, like dude you keep calling yourself the "immortal iron fist" which doesn't fit now that I think about it because he almost died but anyways be humbly arrogant lol Davos was a badass.
but he is THE IMMORTAL IRON FIST -- he said it like 100 times an episode in season 1. but yea his progession is a lot better, they just need to do it faster.
Treebeardicus I have this hope Joy and Typhoid Mary date. There’s potential there. I don’t read the comics though. I don’t buy joy or TM being straight at all.
You get an iron fist, you get a iron fist, everyone gets an iron fist. They should just change the title of the show to 'Iron fists.' Nothing special about it anymore.
yeah really dumb lol. They just gave it to colin in order to make her useful. And it was really dumb cause she was fighting dannys bad guy like wtf thats not your fight. And are we not gonna get comics iron fist ever iron fist is literally goku of the marvel universe just give him his fucking costume already
It’s super hero 101. Your arch nemesis will have your power or equally in strength. Also your mentees will also share the same abilities. Don’t believe me here a few examples in this format Hero / Enemy /Protégé (Ally) Batman / Joker / Robins Flash Allen /Reverse Flash /Flash West Spider-Man/ Venom /Spider-verse Iron-Man /All his Enemy / War Machine Capt America/ Red Skull/ ????? Anyways, the fact that 1 person with a unique set of power is rare in comic books.
yeah its like batman and joker reall big hate for eachother and we want to see them fight but instead batman fights so dumb henchman in the background while robin fights him in a meaningless fight cause he doesn't have the same history with the joker as batman.
Yeah it didn't she had no history with the bad guy at all and it just kinda come out of nowhere its like hey this is coleens show now. Then we get an awful scene at a bar with danny and I am like this show is terrible pull the plug because whoever they are hiring for writing doesn't understand what a kung fu movie is. There is alot of wackyness in these movies and implausible things meanwhile they are trying to be grounded in reality with a terrible actor called finn jones. Iron fist really should be a movie character he is fucking strong. Like and he has some amazing fights. just imagine him fighting some dude in times square its his arch nemesis and he go smashed into a crater on his last legs he gets up vision blurry he screams intense music and they run at eachother. Iron fist is literally just goku in marvel he acts like a kid and is a master of martial arts
I just finished watching season 2 of Iron Fist. My reaction: Can someone please tell Disney+ we all want Iron Fist Season 3!! You can't leave us on such a powerful season finale cliff hanger then just stop it there. That's just wrong for the fans!
hated the whole thing and they should have just made a spin off with the females characters and not had danny in there becasue he was super non-essential to the story, how can this be "iron fist" season 2? These writers and show runners are terrible. Season 2 of jessica jones which is like 90 percent story and talking was way more interesting to watch than iron fist season 2. It hurt me almost, to push through the season, but i'm a marvel fan and want this show to work. Some major character issues from season one foe danny persist or have been replaced by worst ones. Now danny doesn't do things cause he is naive and lost in a new world like season one. now he does them because he is pig headed and arrogant and impulsive and perhaps a drug addict hopped up on dragon soul or chi? He reminds me of green arrow on arrow show always making one bad decision after the next. at least in arrow i can see it is blatantly to make story conflict so characters have something to do or respond too.
My only beef with "Ironfist S3" is the Rey problem. Coleen is a badass fighter for sure but after she gets the power of the dragon she can instantly power up her sword without reading the book? Danny trained most of his life and he could barely operate the first most of season one. We get the same thing in the sequel trilogy with Rey. UGH.... Disney
The sword also had the same crest and was handed down by her mother. The crest symbolizes the pirate and so would be a iron fist weapon and so would make sense that it would be chi channeled.
NCtheking the special effects made me cringe and the actor who plays Danny needs more acting lessons that why he’s not even the main iron fist anymore, they might even be writing him off as the main character
Okay, Colleen has the fist. So what allows Danny to have the iron fist also? Are we now having 2 fists at the same time? Cause when Colleen and Davos were playing tug of war, they made a point of saying it'll kill both of them if the power isn't within one person. Do these guns allow him the power of the iron fist because they were owned by a previous iron fist? If so isn't the power passed down and still unable to be split between 2 people as I said before? I don't understand xD
So Danny trained for years to beat davos and fight the dragon to become the iron fist and when he lost his power he lost how to fight as well so Coleen had to train him and beat his ass that is some stupid stuff
i don't think the training was to teach him fighting technique but moreso to rehabilitate him and help him figure out how to move with the compression brace on especially with his "feel and react" mindset. i think the scene where he kicked the pillar was supposed to show that. same as misty in luke cage s2 when she felt useless because she didn't have her arm. they both lost something, and had to learn how to adjust to their circumstance.
LOVE S2 of Iron Fist (then again i loved S1 too-- heck Iron Fist just rocks in my book :D), and it was unexpected how Colleen became the bearer of the Iron Fist too but hey i'm NOT complaining lol :D, its a good way to beef up the character and still make it significant given her heritage. what i'd like to find out is how Danny got the Iron Fist reignited in him again. was it because it never left him, it just took time to grow back? or was there something in their travels with Ward that allowed him to earn it back (given that it was STOLEN from him and deserves to have it back?) also is that confirmed that we will have Iron Fist S3 Charlie? because i REALLY WANT an Iron Fist S3 now
At first i was disappointed because I thought they were trying to get rid of the main actor or some shit but the direction it took in that last episode makes me so hyped for season 3. I do hope we get more character development with ward too I really like him. A lot of good characters now to fuel a great season 3.
@@birdsamora9925 I thought they did a great job with fight choreography this season. I'll take a whole lot more of that next season! I'm sure fights are going to be very different next season as far as content.
They changed the comics, the tv show is saying the guns are special. In the comics it had nothing to do with the actual guns. It's just a cheat so that they can still have Danny doing Iron Fist stuff without having to take Orson Randall's Power at the beginning of Season 3. He'll probably give Danny his power by the end of the season like they did in the comics and that will be how Danny starts lighting up both of his fists and making Chi Constructs.
@@bryanolive28 how the fuck are the guns special and if he beat shao Lao then as long as he's alive he'll be the iron fist and no ritual changes that. The show will say that Colleen isn't the real iron fist or some shit and they'll give the power back to Danny and he'll be iron fist again. It's stupid if you ask me
I'm conflicted about season 2. This will be an unpopular opinion but I think the 1st season was better. Where we wanted to see Danny use the iron fist more, which I think was a big issue with the first season, they go and take his abilities away in the second season. It's like they heard everyone's greivances and went the opposite way in spite of fans. I get that they are trying to take a more realistic and dramatic approach to these netflix shows but along the way they are losing what makes a superhero story fun by bogging it down with slow moving plots and excessive dialogue in place of action.
As reader of Iron Fist comics from the 60s and 70s the end of this season was utter trash. You can’t be given the Iron Fist, you have to earn it. Colleen Wing is never an Iron Fist in the comics, this is Netflix pandering to Twitter outrage from season 1.
jack froxt no, but it’s kinda nice to watch all the shows based on some fan favorite comic characters, and it sucks when it’s the worst representation of that character to ever be seen
Halfway through the 2nd season I was like "Wow, this is really intense and I love where they are taking us in this story. But then towards the end it started to take that turn where the main protagonist (Danny) didn't want his Iron Fist anymore. Instead he wanted to pass the mantle. It seemed like such a let go from the spirit of the story I wanted to see. But those last few minutes at the end tied it all up and made me hopeful that season 3 was going to be Awesome! And on that note I mostly want to see them go back to K'un Lung, and tie up what happened there after Danny left.
I liked this season but what I did not like so much is the excessive protagonism that they gave to Coleen, i mean, I love her, I love the character and the actress, but at sometimes it seems that the protagonist is her and not Danny which i think is very bad! If the writers like Coleen so much, which I insist, I like her a lot, they should give to her own show but while she reamin in Iron Fist the protagonist must be Danny. One of the best thing of the season is Typhoon Mary, Alice Eve was great all the season!
You clearly are fucking brain dead? The Iron Fist isnt gender determined, in the comics, the iron fist has gone to women. In this, they gave backstory to Colleen being descendent of Iron Fist. Sure maybe it took a bit away from the randomness of someone being able to take on the dragon. Frankly, most of Colleen activities was literally what the Iron Fist was supposed to be doing. She had the community roots, the diplomacy and the technique. Danny had the technique but not the diplomacy or community roots. The Iron Fist does not need to be Danny. It needs to be Chi powered fist and Colleen got it. Maybe Danny will get it back but Collen was literally the protagonist and she far more interesting than Danny ever was.
Liongaming 683 Sorry but no. He is the main carácter, she is a sidekick, that is not development. Imagine a TV show about Batman that Robin has the same protagonism, it is wrong, i mean, i love Robin (Dick Grayson is my favorite) but the show is about Batman, Robin is his sidekick
I really enjoyed this season, and the way they turned everything upside down by the end. Love the fact that they are bringing in Orson Randall and his Iron Fist 1911's into the show. Alice Eve's Typhoid Mary was awesomely done, I hope her third has the powers from the comics in some form. But overall much stronger season and looking forward to see where it goes ALSO can we just get a damn Daughters of the Dragon series already for Misty and Colleen?
Part 2 of my problem with it is because everyone loved Colleen in the first season (including me) so much they gave us too much of her in this season. It felt like the colleen show feat danny rand. He felt like a side character in his own show and it sucks.
Elijah Elam but it’s not the Danny Rand show. It’s the Iron Fist. A mantle that can be passed on. A lot of this season was split between multiple characters. I don’t see ppl bitching about Watchers screen time or character development.
@@dicerevo i see your point and i agree in some aspects. I get that the mantle can get passed on. Anyone who likes iron fist comics know about that. That isnt my problem. My problem is her becoming the iron fist wasnt set up and felt like it was thrown in as a lazy twist. Danny lost the iron fist early in the show and all the episodes after were leading to him eventually taking the mantle back. So for that twist to come out of nowhere almost felt like a slap in the face. This is my own personal opinion tho that is subject to change after a second viewing.
@@dicerevo lets compare this to the other marvel netflix shows, Like daredevil. In Daredevil Foggy is in colleen's place. Foggy makes daredevil question himself and his judgement and who he has become. He is a very strong side character but he is very balanced. You know that in the end you know Its Matt Murdocks story overall. In Luke Cage misty is in Colleen's place. She is an amazing character on all of the shows. On luke cage in particular her story is very balanced with luke but never does it feel like she is overshadowing him. The way Iron Fist was marketed it was suppose to be Danny's journey but the Meechum family over shadowed his story in the first season, but i still like the first season. Its the same in the second they aet it up to be Danny's story and Colleen ends up overshadowing him. Do you see what i mean? It makes his presence in the show feel weightless. I do like Colleen as an iron fist i just feel it could have been handled better.
I finished s2 last night and this season was better than the first. better fight scenes and glad it was only 10 eps instead of 13 (otherwise would have felt like a drag)
Yeh but she's not just anyone, I mean she's a badass fighter and they very clearly hinted that one of her ancestors (that women's name I can't remember) was the first female iron fist. So it's not like she's just some ordinary person
@@jirau2711 dude just cause they gave the powers to a female doesn't mean it's sjw, but anyways I don't really have a problem with Colleen having the power cause she's honestly one of my favorite characters on the show. And it's not like there gonna keep Danny without his powers for the rest of the show
It sucks so much colleen never was an iron fist danny earned it he defeated the dragon and then he just gave up to his powers this entire season was the worst bullshit I ever saw
Patrick Torres I’m not really claiming it is but I’m just saying they shifted way too much focus on Colleen rather than Danny and her having the iron fist exemplifies it
@@comicalcosmonaut959 fair enough, I guess that would be my biggest negative of the season that they kinda sidelined Danny, but it wasn't enough to make me dislike the season, overall I think this season was a major improvement over the first
I'm still on the fence about this season. Being the Immortal Iron First doesn't seem very special anymore. Why not just keep passing the power along, then waiting for a few months to get it back yourself, like Danny? Keep doing that for a few years and you got yourself an army of Iron Fists. Obviously that won't happen but the plot-holes this season.. ugh. Also, I love Colleen Wing as a character, but not as a replacement for Iron Fist. I was hoping that when her box first appeared, she'd maybe get her own unique power set, something involving her sword that she didn't use most of this season. But then I noticed she was getting more fighting scenes than Danny and figured she'd be the new Iron Fist, and it was so disappointing be right. It honestly feels like they're pandering to the people who got pissed at Finn Jones/Marvel/Disney from that twitter argument a year ago (google it). Such a shame.
Iron Fist season 2 was one of the best seasons of all of the Marvel Netflix series hands down, and I cannot wait for season 3 of Iron Fist and Dare Devil 💯
I'm proud of you. Honestly , I just wanted to watch your video for fact checking purposes. As one who bought the Brubaker run when no one knew Danny Rand from a hole in the ground, I appreciate you using the original art from the IIF series to support the making of your video. I was equally excited to hear the name Orson Randell , which in agreement with you anticipate the ultimate revelation of Fat Cobra to the world. If any are in the loop, you will understand.
I understand that Coleen is a descendant but did they really need to give her an Iron fist... Great improvement compared to the first season but they cheapened the Uniqueness of the Iron Fist by making it transferable while also letting multiple people hold it at the SAME time. Would have been better if Danny fought Davos at the end and realized that he never lost the Iron Fist but it was suppressed because he didnt understand it.
Im glad the fighting improved, *but Colleen getting the fist and Danny suddenly using the Fist with BOTH hands on top of the fact he has his powers back was some bullshit. You don't timeskip over some shit like that he should've gained the power to use both hands this season and go into S3 searching for Orson and having his bro trip with Ward.* Dammit im trying to like this show but they keeping doing shit to tick me off. Also the dude playing Iron Fist need to hit the damn weight room he is too damn skinny to be considered a kung-fu master let alone the Iron Fist
The whole season was setting Colleen up to take the power and then they wipe it away showing Danny the double fisted chi-slinger and his trusty sidekick
yea, the info about the pistols was in the video. thanks. I think the point here is that they've made a hash of the season again. They should've ended the season without showing Colleen fighting and Danny using the guns. Save it for next season's trailer at least. By jumping forward in time they've rendered S2 a long-winded pointless mess.
I just like the fact that Daredevil's villains have a different power set . He's unique so other than Stick the villains have been different . The Arrowverse motto of doing the archer and the speedster got old for me
@@JarrenHunt No it's not. They're *looking* for Orson. @EmergencyAwesome doesn't explain how both Danny and Colleen contain the power of the iron fist but the two theories are that 1.Orson's weapons have stored chi that they're using 2.Danny never lost the fist, it only went dormant.
@@darraghtate440 Yeah I'm of the opinion they changed comic lore and made it a thing where he could store weapons with his chi. They'll probably have Orson give his iron fist to danny at the end of season 3.
This season was so much better than the first for sure. I’m still not on board with Colleen becoming the Iron Fist though, it felt extremely forced to me.
Yep, after Ep 5 it was the Colleen Wing story. Danny spends the whole show whining, apologizing and being subserviant to Colleen. Its more her show than his! BS I say. They should do a Daughters of the Dragon series but why shit on a great character like Iron Fist to promote it. Every male lead now is stupid, meek and all the women are rude, condescending, etc. Very forced....and politically motivated. I've never been addicted to anything but I learned far more about rehab and such than I ever wanted lol
@@ssencipe250 yeah all she could do was enhance her strength by alittle bit, heal herself quicker and heightened awareness and this is only after Danny melded his mind with her's to free her from the control of master Khan. She was never a descendant of an iron fist and she never actually wielded the iron fist, but now she does and it low-key undermines Danny in my opinion although I'm sure he's gonna get his abilities back
I just started watching Iron Fist. This weekend it seems that there's only 2 seasons. I binged both episodes and I'm craving for more. I fell in love with Danny Rand. How can we get Iron Fist back?
knoccout7124 there’s only one “heart of the dragon”. I’m thinking that danny must’ve gotten it back at one point from colleen... I mean you can’t deny his fists are definitely glowing more than the guns in that last scene.
I certainly thought this season was better than the first. I loved that Coleen held the fist and Channeled it into her katana. Does Danny hold the fist again or does he only have chi bullets? Wouldn’t he need he first to use that power? I hope my questions are cleared up next season. Thanks for the great vid Charlie!
They improved it so damn much! I was gasping at the post credits scene. Everyone got so much character development. they're heading in the right direction. This season was a come back, no doubt. So freaking excited for whatever they're planning with the characters for the future seasons.
Thank You for the explainer. I personally was confused about Danny having the double iron fists at the end of season 2. However, in order to use "Chi Bullets" wouldn't you have to have the powers of Iron Fist in the first place? Without any further explanation before that scene of what happened.
True, but again without explanation. Why put that in the show? To bring us back to watch season 3? I'm already curious as to what Danny does without that scene. In fact it kind of kills the whole reason why he wanted Colleen to take the fist in the first place. Even if it is months later. To me it just is curious.
+icedoutelite Like I said before. " I'm already curious as to what Danny does without that scene." So it does nothing for me other than makes me raise questions.
I wasn’t thrilled that Colleen was going to be the new Iron Fist. When he asked her I thought it was dumb since Danny is the Iron Fist and without it he’s a rich guy who knows KungFu?. However Colleens backstory about her family and all that made more sense later on in the episode. I was happy to see Danny have glowing fists again, but it was too soon to show making the whole ending of “passing the Fist” pointless in my opinion.
Two other posts near the top of the FB page expressed perfectly how I feel: Eric Mildon "I thought I was watching Iron Fist, not the Colleen Wing chick flick? Come on Netflix!! If you can't do the character justice, don't do it at all." Alejandri Guerrero "Hate this series now. Danny Rand IS the most prolific, iconic, and powerful iron fist. I watched this show to finally see Danny Rand be portrayed right, not be replaced because you guys fucked up the first season. Marvel netflix is dead to me" The Iron Fist in season 2 of Luke Cage was PERFECT. Please do more of that. P.S. I got to the end of Episode 8 Season 2 with 6 minutes to go and I literally can't stand to watch another moment of this. Danny Rand is supposed to be one of the greatest martial artists in the world, if not the greatest, and to hear him get scolded and coached by someone whom he coached and whose ass he kicked in the previous season, who herself was a student to masters in tbe Hand, is just an absolute insult to the character and the viewers. You want to set up that female character? As others suggested, make Elektra or Red Sonja. Wonder Woman was awesome. Black Widow probably will be. This crap is insulting and unwatchable.
Season 2 was pretty nice! Way better than season 1 imo. I honestly wouldn't have minded three more episodes if they had put them all at the end and used them to explain what Danny & Ward had been up to instead of the whole 'MONTHS LATER' thing that they did. Still a great season though. Keep up the great work Charlie, always a fan 🙏
Season 3 will probably show what Danny and Ward have been up to in a flashback episode. Especially in Jakarta, where I presume they got those chi guns.
I love that Ward and Danny are good brothers to each other throughout all of season 2. The only two that stayed close. Matt lost Froggy and Luke lost his friend from the Barbershop
HowTo 101 I hope it’s a longer season cos they should do a similar story to arrow season 2 where slade the mentor became the big bad in a later season. So for iron fist season 3 I would have it 13 episodes the first 6 would be Danny training with Randall, then the next six episodes Randal would be the big bad and playing mind games with Danny and then in the thirteenth episode Danny alone without Coleen fights orsen Randall
i see some people complaining that colleen had gotten the iron fist, and she may not deserve it because of all the trainings and shit but still. i like that they're not only focusing to danny and that they're giving a spotlight to other characters and that makes the audience know them better. i mean yeah she got the iron fist but i doubt she's gonna use it like how danny uses it because she isn't that skilled yet at doing kung fu, she's a dojo master right? and i like how they didn't turn her into the new iron fist, she may have gotten it but she still does whatever she does by using her own katana because that's what she's good at. and no danny is still the iron fist, didn't you see the last part? he's the rightful owner of it because he deserved it so yeah at least for the next season it's not only one person who has power, it's a breath of fresh air, not focusing to only just one main character. and please people it's just season 2 give more time don't jump into conclusions that this show is going to be shit because it will get better plus danny doesn't know what he really wants yet and he'll figure it out.
well danny rand isn't the only iron fist, he wasn't even the first one and colleen, no she won't be the iron fist of course I don't think they'll make her like wu ao shi
I mean, low as the bar was after season 1 and Defenders, this season was a MASSIVE improvement and was kinda glad they went to 10 episodes, any more I think would have led to wasteful filler. And I definetley need the explanation on the guns cause I got Colleen channeling the fist through the sword (they better show that in action in season 3 or another show), but that was more wtf. Though, I'm more curious as to if the guns ae some kind of magic cheat code, or if they will explain where the hell Danny learned to be able to dual wield handguns and fire with that insane level of precision.
That accuracy was TOO legit lol! Both his bullets perfectly hit the bad dude's bullet. What's more confusing is, how the heck didn't his bullets go past the bad dude's bullets and kill em. What's the point of having chi bullets if you need two to do what one regular bullet can already do.
They really made the show way better in Season 2! I know ppl got mixed emotions about Coleen getting the power of the fist but I’m actually glad they gave her some spotlight! Jhen Henwick is 🔥🔥🔥
They hinted at it massively with Misty having second thoughts about becoming a Captain and she even says Knight Wing sounds good. She also mentions blinging out her arm, in the comics she has a gold arm.
@@Nocuadra66 it could be big because the media would jump right on it as it'll be two female leads, one black and one Asian that'll be massive for American tv
Here's my *Iron Fist Season 2 Ending* and Season 3 Teaser video! Let me know what you thought of Season 2 in general and what you're most hype about for Daredevil Season 3! New Flash and Marvel posting soon!
Oh man I haven't started it. I liked S1 more than most so I'll definitely get on that.
Emergency Awesome Love your videos cant wait for Daredevil Season 3 & maybe a Defenders season 2...
Emergency Awesome can’t wait to see what come next
Your knowledge of comics seems boundless. Thanks for the explanation.
Thanks! They don't have any plans for Defenders Season 2 right now. But there will be lots of Crossovers between future seasons.
Gotta say I wasn't the biggest fan of giving the fist to Colleen, but the ending when she lit up the sword was pretty tight tbh
I mean same honestly but, i kinda like her personality and she seems nice person. And yeah that thing with the sword was awesome. Same goes for Randy with the bullets, and maybe mech can also learn something
Actually it looked like cheap shit and I cringed so hard. How can you even like that part?
@@Separathor Because it's his opinion!
Season 1: "I am Danny Rand, The Immortal Iron Fist, protector of K'un-Lun and sworn enemy of the Hand."
Season 2: "I don't know, it's-it's complicated."
All I wanted at the end was him to be wearing his costume
Tell me about it, it was in Davos’ pocket, should have had Danny find it n grab it real quick after makin him go night night
He's getting it from Orson in S3. Calling it now.
@Kris Smith Orson Randall, the iron fist before Danny!!
James McAl Have you seen the concept art for his costume? It’s pretty dope
James McAl Same. I thought he was gonna end up wearing it when Davos had it on😒
Did you notice that Davos tried to give Danny the same move he gave to the hatchets leader in order to cause a stroke??
Matthew, I didn't notice... perhaps on a second viewing I'll see what you saw.
Same move but nothing happened to Danny
@@raygotz1069 Davos was interupted by Danny. Prehaps thats why Danny didnt get a stroke
Really hope to see Mary Walker and her third personnality in Daredevil S3
Exactly. You don't tell them there's a 3rd uber stabby personality if you don't intend of showing it off at some point. 🔪👍
@@emergencyawesome Dont you think theyd save that for Iron Fist season 3 though?
Jack Duggan She's a daredevil character originally from everything I've been reading about her, so it makes the most sense to really expand on her there.
It took me 6 episodes to realize that she was not Jessica Jones' sister.
Sonic Ninja they even add a relationship, so maybe we'll see something close to that
Am I the only one who thought this season was amazing?? it was way better than season 1.
I thought this season was amazing also
Way more racist than season 1.
@@khkan31 how?
I thought the season was weak. Lots of side characters and irrelevance and not much iron fist. Mary was good and I like Ward. Then the whole dragon transfer, do I want it don't I nonsense. And after all that we get a glowing sword and Danny shooting chi bullets. Seemed rushed.
I too think it's amazing.
Danny rand: IM THE IRON FIST
Collen wing: No Danny we are
WE ARE THE IRON FIST! (camera view from top of them holding hands). Marvel's CW Flash. lol
Shit Collen Wing is the best part of the series! So I was confused but it’s still dope (season 2 was really good imo)
True colleen is excellent fighter.. iris sucks...
Shit, like the flash..we are the flash..oh god.. Iris saying that made me want to quit the show. I'm ready for her to go back to her newspaper job and staying there..foreverrrr.
Coleen and Misty.I'm ready for that Rush Hour spinoff lol
"she didn't earn the fist"
Ignoring the fact that she's a descendant from someone that has something to do with the fist itself.
I seen some video saying that in the comics it shows more than one person having it
Yea they must of found out that love can make both people have the iron fist 😇😏
It seems all iron fist have yellow glow so why did davos have red and Colleen white? Gives it a Green lantern vibe. Too much talking not enough fighting in the series. I'd love to see Mary fight the Punisher.
The guns are probably charged with chi. I don't think Danny has the iron Fist..
@@Blitzo2876 they are not the original iron Fists so maybe it's why the color changes
Cowboy Danny Rand looks badass, also I hope we see Mary Walker meet The Punisher at some point

I liked the ending but the bullets were a little cheesy.
_ Davidollywood _ yeah everything about the last scene was great except the crappy CGI bullets
I agree the bullets did not look great. There were a couple spots this season where the CGI looked a bit weak. I wonder if they had a lower budget due to the reaction of the first season?

He needs to become the drunken master🍻🥃🍾🍹🍸
I loved wards new look and hope he will be good and help Danny and be a hero
After ward got his ass handed to him by that bartender I immediately said Danny really needs to show ward some martial arts.
when i saw that scene i thought ward was gonna fight and was trained by danny lol
ward will receive the immortal Iron Penis in season 3 ! hookers and blow !
Loved the Orson Randall name drop and the pistols
Her and misty will be teaming up again eventually as the daughters...and they'll have their own private investigation company called KnightWing (get it?)
yea, it took 3 seasons to ACTUALLY make danny the iron fist (if they even make him the iron fist)
Agree 100%!!
Huge step forward in racism.
Great we hit our troll average thanks Kirk man, now back to intellectual comments. Anyone other than Kirk please

Frogii127 The general consensus for her have been good tho. Me personally I dont have an issue with her but we will see how it goes season 3
So pumped for matt to be ”born again”
S2 was most DEF a HUGE improvement from S1!!
The action scenes were engaging and entertaining, the marvel humor was there,
and each character had their own arc which connected all the stories together pretty well!!
I agree completely
In season 2 the replaced Claire with RoboCop Misty. I liked Claire more.
Ovan61
Finn was not miscast but misused by PC writers and writers who did not master IF comic lore
Mmm
Same!
There is also a possibility that Danny could tap into any chi that was left in the Guns
@@joshmoore850 that would be annoying but I would rather just him getting his chi bak
McHaven07 Donny is destined to be with Misty. They just needed a plot reason to separate Colleen and Danny first.
Ward, Mary/Walker/??? and Misty had some of best character development in this series in my opinion. I miss Madam Gao. I’m so happy about how much fight scene we’re in this season, and they were really really awesome too.
Those are the only characters I pretty much like form the show
Alice Eve did an amazing job with the DID angle of Typhoid Mary.

What if after u said all this, season 3 was absolute shit
Sean Celestin lmfao please bro don’t say that, this dudes paragraphs has me actually horny for season 3
I’m disappointed we never got the iron fist suit and most likely won’t
Airbreaker42 okay well here’s the thing, I wouldn’t be surprised if By the end of season 3 Danny has a suit, if he goes to Orson Randall for the History and the book and embraces the culture he’s probably gonna have a suit soon, I think they teased it with Davos having the mask on, either way this season had such a Ragnarok approach to it
Jmurri hopefully cuz I’m a big comic nerd and I just like to see my heroes in there costumes
Airbreaker42 same tho, I hope he gets the suit, and I hope Luke gets something like that lol
thats what makes this version of iron fist worst
From season 1 we know Orson has a costume so I wouldn't be surprised if Danny gets one.

Danny was chosen by the Elder's for a reason over Davos, and I think the show should tell us why, and stop making Danny look like he is a useless Iron Fist.
especially after being constantly reminded how much crap Danny went through to get it. The writing has been rubbish. A quick netflix filler.
I can sense a lot of saltiness with this comment.
danny survives a plane crash, family murdered by the hand, trains his whole life to be the immortal iron first. Best writing ever.
be glad iris west wasnt given the powers of the iron fist
I agree as well, I thought that when they revealed that Danny was wanting Colleen to have the fist that Colleen would talk Danny some sense and let him have the fist again. In fact, each episode that they were treading on it, even the episode they did the ceremony I kept hoping that they would give the give the fist back to Danny. Overall I feel like their decision was SJW orientated, and doesn't make since with the character.
i hope they make danny more confident in season 3, he seemed like he was still struggling with being a leader. colleen wing, ward, misty knight were the best parts of the series imo.
I like his progression. Taking their time to develop him is smart.
I also thought Mary Walker was a great part of the season
Ikr, like dude you keep calling yourself the "immortal iron fist" which doesn't fit now that I think about it because he almost died but anyways be humbly arrogant lol Davos was a badass.
Yeah, but he didn't die, so the title still kinda holds up....
but he is THE IMMORTAL IRON FIST -- he said it like 100 times an episode in season 1. but yea his progession is a lot better, they just need to do it faster.
I literally just finished watching Iron Fist season 2 and was wondering when were you going to make an explanation video, and here it is.
More Typhoid Mary. More, More, More........
Treebeardicus I have this hope Joy and Typhoid Mary date. There’s potential there. I don’t read the comics though. I don’t buy joy or TM being straight at all.
I’m ready for the Kingpin takeover in S3 and to see Daredevil be pushed to his limits in regular life and vigilante life!
Don’t believe me here a few examples in this format Hero / Enemy /Protégé (Ally)
Batman / Joker / Robins
Flash Allen /Reverse Flash /Flash West
Spider-Man/ Venom /Spider-verse
Iron-Man /All his Enemy / War Machine
Capt America/ Red Skull/ ?????
Anyways, the fact that 1 person with a unique set of power is rare in comic books.
yeah its like batman and joker reall big hate for eachother and we want to see them fight but instead batman fights so dumb henchman in the background while robin fights him in a meaningless fight cause he doesn't have the same history with the joker as batman.
MrDude88 Danny basically took the backseat to coleen. That did not make sense to me at all.
Just finished watching season 2 last night! I definitely enjoyed it. Especially Mary Walker’s character. She’s a trip! 😂
I think they'll try to cross her over to Daredevil at some point in the future.
The ladies took this one. Mary, Colleen and Misty were fkin Awesome
hated the whole thing and they should have just made a spin off with the females characters and not had danny in there becasue he was super non-essential to the story, how can this be "iron fist" season 2? These writers and show runners are terrible. Season 2 of jessica jones which is like 90 percent story and talking was way more interesting to watch than iron fist season 2. It hurt me almost, to push through the season, but i'm a marvel fan and want this show to work. Some major character issues from season one foe danny persist or have been replaced by worst ones. Now danny doesn't do things cause he is naive and lost in a new world like season one. now he does them because he is pig headed and arrogant and impulsive and perhaps a drug addict hopped up on dragon soul or chi? He reminds me of green arrow on arrow show always making one bad decision after the next. at least in arrow i can see it is blatantly to make story conflict so characters have something to do or respond too.
dax27b agreed kinda. Danny did seem way useless but still enjoyed the season 🤷🏾♂️
Abel Amossa i really tried too cause I am a marvel fan.
UGH.... Disney
Exactly it reallly doesn't make any sesne...
The sword also had the same crest and was handed down by her mother. The crest symbolizes the pirate and so would be a iron fist weapon and so would make sense that it would be chi channeled.
It was season 2.
@@dwarvesc3363 I'm just saying if it was a chi activated sword how come it didn't ever work before?
Because she didn't know how to channel it.
just finished watching season 2. We definitely need season 3
Well.. its possible, seems like at least daredevil will continue
I seriously cannot wait for the 3rd season of Daredevil!
New Trailer coming in a couple weeks!
we have to wait until ny comic con arrives..
Season 1 of Iron Fist wasn't good but Season 2 I enjoyed. The music in season 2 and fight scene's were great.
Blakkheim helllll noooooo
NCtheking the special effects made me cringe and the actor who plays Danny needs more acting lessons that why he’s not even the main iron fist anymore, they might even be writing him off as the main character
Season 2 was shit 😂
Okay, Colleen has the fist. So what allows Danny to have the iron fist also? Are we now having 2 fists at the same time? Cause when Colleen and Davos were playing tug of war, they made a point of saying it'll kill both of them if the power isn't within one person. Do these guns allow him the power of the iron fist because they were owned by a previous iron fist? If so isn't the power passed down and still unable to be split between 2 people as I said before? I don't understand xD
It's so Collen and Danny can fist each other.
At least you answered the question more than Charlie xD
Its ruined
im guessing he killed another dragon.
Okay, I can get that. Thanks for clearing it up xD :D
Danny Rand went straight Gunslinger right here lol.
Hunter master race
Gun-fu
So Danny trained for years to beat davos and fight the dragon to become the iron fist and when he lost his power he lost how to fight as well so Coleen had to train him and beat his ass that is some stupid stuff
That's one of the only few complaints I had. I was thinking, wait isn't Danny basically supposed to be a master or something?
I think she was helping him train more than training him. Like to compensate for his injury.
i don't think the training was to teach him fighting technique but moreso to rehabilitate him and help him figure out how to move with the compression brace on especially with his "feel and react" mindset. i think the scene where he kicked the pillar was supposed to show that. same as misty in luke cage s2 when she felt useless because she didn't have her arm. they both lost something, and had to learn how to adjust to their circumstance.
Danny had his leg broken he still knew how to fight but he needed to adapt to his injury
Ah that makes more sense, Kashika
LOVE S2 of Iron Fist (then again i loved S1 too-- heck Iron Fist just rocks in my book :D), and it was unexpected how Colleen became the bearer of the Iron Fist too but hey i'm NOT complaining lol :D, its a good way to beef up the character and still make it significant given her heritage.
what i'd like to find out is how Danny got the Iron Fist reignited in him again. was it because it never left him, it just took time to grow back? or was there something in their travels with Ward that allowed him to earn it back (given that it was STOLEN from him and deserves to have it back?)
also is that confirmed that we will have Iron Fist S3 Charlie? because i REALLY WANT an Iron Fist S3 now
this video cleared so many questions..
NOT 🙄
A well written show should not have to be cleared up by another source.
Plot twist: madam gao is Colleen's ancestor.
At first i was disappointed because I thought they were trying to get rid of the main actor or some shit but the direction it took in that last episode makes me so hyped for season 3. I do hope we get more character development with ward too I really like him. A lot of good characters now to fuel a great season 3.
I just hope there is less talking and more fighting in season 3, and no shaky cam.
@@birdsamora9925 I thought they did a great job with fight choreography this season. I'll take a whole lot more of that next season! I'm sure fights are going to be very different next season as far as content.
@@mezmir hope so

Agreed.
This Second season was so much better than the first
Vast Improvement
I think Colleen Wing is the MVP
I think Davos is the MVP
Vast improvement but still needs A LOT of work
I was confused about how Danny still had his powers at the end.. I thought there only could be one fist?
They changed the comics, the tv show is saying the guns are special. In the comics it had nothing to do with the actual guns. It's just a cheat so that they can still have Danny doing Iron Fist stuff without having to take Orson Randall's Power at the beginning of Season 3. He'll probably give Danny his power by the end of the season like they did in the comics and that will be how Danny starts lighting up both of his fists and making Chi Constructs.
Oh ok. I had the same question. It's just the guns that have it, not Danny.
Ahhhh okay. So the guns are the source of power he is using.
Started the series last night!
Mmm Amen Apache.
It like when they took away Peter Petrelli's powers in Heroes season 3
Your criticism are valid, but they don't explain why you think S1 is better
yes finally been needing an explanation video
Thanks! Had to wait a few days to post to give people time to watch the series. ✋
Emergency Awesome my face just lit up when I saw the last scene of episode 10
@@emergencyawesome how does danny still have the iron fist though ?
same
As reader of Iron Fist comics from the 60s and 70s the end of this season was utter trash. You can’t be given the Iron Fist, you have to earn it.
Colleen Wing is never an Iron Fist in the comics, this is Netflix pandering to Twitter outrage from season 1.
so this sucks even more of what I thought this was complete thrash like the worst marvel season I ever seen
yap yap yap yap yap. nobody is forcing you to watch
jack froxt no, but it’s kinda nice to watch all the shows based on some fan favorite comic characters, and it sucks when it’s the worst representation of that character to ever be seen
AGreed!
Focus on one character at time!
They made her equal as he in terms of main character now. I think is good character development.
@@Lionheart683 indeed now they can both fist each other...
I loved this season, loved Alice Eves portrayal of Mary, and the fight scenes were amazing. All of the characters got developed so good
Part 2 of my problem with it is because everyone loved Colleen in the first season (including me) so much they gave us too much of her in this season.
Iron Fist season 2 was awesome!!!
I kinda hate how Colleen is Iron Fist. Like such a sacred power is being passed on to literally anyone
Patrick Torres I’m not really claiming it is but I’m just saying they shifted way too much focus on Colleen rather than Danny and her having the iron fist exemplifies it
@@comicalcosmonaut959 fair enough, I guess that would be my biggest negative of the season that they kinda sidelined Danny, but it wasn't enough to make me dislike the season, overall I think this season was a major improvement over the first
This season was amazing I was really impressed !!
Nathan Fancher Theres a limit to how many people can have it. Its about 3 in the comics. Therefore they are at their limit.
Danny does not have his power back. The pistols have chi in them and whoever holds it gets the power of the fist. Which is why he stole it
Also u forgot danny having guns even tho he aint a killer
Iron Fist season 2 was one of the best seasons of all of the Marvel Netflix series hands down, and I cannot wait for season 3 of Iron Fist and Dare Devil 💯
I felt it was the second weakest only being better than the first season of iron fist
I loved Iron Fist season 2 and I figured Danny would get the Gun Fu! But that Daredevil scene YESSS!!! Can't wait for the REBIRTH!
cool!
The new iron fist series will be a lot better I think 🔥
I really wish they would have started with Season 2 so we could get all the good stuff this year.
@@emergencyawesome yeah I agree
I understand that Coleen is a descendant but did they really need to give her an Iron fist... Great improvement compared to the first season but they cheapened the Uniqueness of the Iron Fist by making it transferable while also letting multiple people hold it at the SAME time. Would have been better if Danny fought Davos at the end and realized that he never lost the Iron Fist but it was suppressed because he didnt understand it.
Why would you do this to people 😭 no season 3,4,5 what is up with that. Loved the show need more.
Im so hyped for bullseye and his fight against Daredevil
So glad Iron Fist Season 2 ended up being super cool
It was much better than Season 1. It was still a slow burn, but they fixed a good chunk of their problems.
Those two pistols are orson pistols orson probably infuse his chi into them and if a person knows how to use chi they can use the pistols
Too dumb to realize the guns use the person who's using it's chi, he doesn't have the fist the guns are doin all the work there.
yea, the info about the pistols was in the video. thanks. I think the point here is that they've made a hash of the season again. They should've ended the season without showing Colleen fighting and Danny using the guns. Save it for next season's trailer at least. By jumping forward in time they've rendered S2 a long-winded pointless mess.
person8203 I think they wanted it to make you excited for S3 developments not ruin the entirety of S2 it was great loved it and kept wanting to watch
After watching season 2 I don’t no how I feel about it...
I’m pumped about bullseye in daredevil season 3!!! 🎯
When is the release date?
I think some time in October.
Please bring Iron Fist back. PLEASE!!!
I just like the fact that Daredevil's villains have a different power set . He's unique so other than Stick the villains have been different . The Arrowverse motto of doing the archer and the speedster got old for me
How did both Colleen aaaaand Danny have the heart of the dragon at the end though?
Elliott Lars Olsen The implication is that Danny got it back from Orson
@@JarrenHunt No it's not. They're *looking* for Orson. @EmergencyAwesome doesn't explain how both Danny and Colleen contain the power of the iron fist but the two theories are that 1.Orson's weapons have stored chi that they're using
2.Danny never lost the fist, it only went dormant.
Elliott Lars Olsen became of sjw
@@darraghtate440 Yeah I'm of the opinion they changed comic lore and made it a thing where he could store weapons with his chi. They'll probably have Orson give his iron fist to danny at the end of season 3.
@@Afrofoodie But how would Orson Randall give Danny the fist if Colleen has it? This is so confusing....
Finally catching up on Defenders stuff and really enjoyed season two, I hope Disney+ brings these guys back!
She actually is empowered in the comics by Danny. WAY before this feminist movement, sooooo it's comic accurate.
@@dewaynedawkins4573 in the comics she never had the fist and she never dated danny

She did have chi powers though. They're just doing it his way because of how the original showrunner screwed up the lore.
@@ssencipe250 yeah all she could do was enhance her strength by alittle bit, heal herself quicker and heightened awareness and this is only after Danny melded his mind with her's to free her from the control of master Khan. awesome!
I just started watching Iron Fist. This weekend it seems that there's only 2 seasons. I binged both episodes and I'm craving for more. I fell in love with Danny Rand. How can we get Iron Fist back?
So is danny still the iron fist or not I'm confused still
Me too i don't get it.
There’s more than one Iron Fist bro. Colleen is the Iron Fist Of NYC st the moment
Dan rand is now the iron fist more like the original one in the comics hence him going to search for him and it shows him with Originals powers
knoccout7124 there’s only one “heart of the dragon”. I’m thinking that danny must’ve gotten it back at one point from colleen... I mean you can’t deny his fists are definitely glowing more than the guns in that last scene.
@@redluckog7008 Actually there's not it was in both Davos and Colleen at the same time until they completed the ceremony
Domenic Reyes the guns are the chi channelers
They improved it so damn much! I was gasping at the post credits scene. Everyone got so much character development. they're heading in the right direction. This season was a come back, no doubt. So freaking excited for whatever they're planning with the characters for the future seasons.
Thank You for the explainer. I personally was confused about Danny having the double iron fists at the end of season 2. However, in order to use "Chi Bullets" wouldn't you have to have the powers of Iron Fist in the first place? Without any further explanation before that scene of what happened.
but it did say "Many months later"
True, but again without explanation. Why put that in the show? To bring us back to watch season 3? I'm already curious as to what Danny does without that scene. In fact it kind of kills the whole reason why he wanted Colleen to take the fist in the first place. Even if it is months later. To me it just is curious.
PhoenixKing1611 that’s always the reason for those type of ending it leaves you wanting answers so you return to watch season 3 next year
+icedoutelite Like I said before.
Your a great RUclipsr keep up the good work👍
Two other posts near the top of the FB page expressed perfectly how I feel:
Eric Mildon
"I thought I was watching Iron Fist, not the Colleen Wing chick flick? Come on Netflix!! If you can't do the character justice, don't do it at all."
Alejandri Guerrero
"Hate this series now. Danny Rand IS the most prolific, iconic, and powerful iron fist. I watched this show to finally see Danny Rand be portrayed right, not be replaced because you guys fucked up the first season. Marvel netflix is dead to me"
The Iron Fist in season 2 of Luke Cage was PERFECT.
LMAO no season 2 was not good, this shows trash FOH
I enjoyed the show I liked it way better than the first season that`s for sure. IRON FIST season 2 was good, I can`t wait for season 3.
Got the notification literally less than a minute after I finished binging it
awesome timing!
I love that Ward and Danny are good brothers to each other throughout all of season 2. The only two that stayed close. Matt lost Froggy and Luke lost his friend from the Barbershop
so...how does Danny Rand get the iron fist back? :/
Leo ChaiChai Well, according to the video here: by using whatever secret Randal's (Kun Lu'un's) book has.
Yes.
Never lost it. Thats the whole point. He doesn’t know the full story of the Iron Fist.
Through the power of Lazy writing.
ohhh ok makes sense
I’m calling it now, Orson Randell will turn out to be the bad guy in S3
HowTo 101 I hope it’s a longer season cos they should do a similar story to arrow season 2 where slade the mentor became the big bad in a later season. So for iron fist season 3 I would have it 13 episodes the first 6 would be Danny training with Randall, then the next six episodes Randal would be the big bad and playing mind games with Danny and then in the thirteenth episode Danny alone without Coleen fights orsen Randall
That would be amazing but orson was never a villain in the comics
GabDPanda I know but I thought it would be good
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
But he's like a mentor to Daniel.
i see some people complaining that colleen had gotten the iron fist, and she may not deserve it because of all the trainings and shit but still. i like that they're not only focusing to danny and that they're giving a spotlight to other characters and that makes the audience know them better. i mean yeah she got the iron fist but i doubt she's gonna use it like how danny uses it because she isn't that skilled yet at doing kung fu, she's a dojo master right? and i like how they didn't turn her into the new iron fist, she may have gotten it but she still does whatever she does by using her own katana because that's what she's good at. and no danny is still the iron fist, didn't you see the last part? he's the rightful owner of it because he deserved it so yeah at least for the next season it's not only one person who has power, it's a breath of fresh air, not focusing to only just one main character. and please people it's just season 2 give more time don't jump into conclusions that this show is going to be shit because it will get better plus danny doesn't know what he really wants yet and he'll figure it out.
well danny rand isn't the only iron fist, he wasn't even the first one and colleen, no she won't be the iron fist of course I don't think they'll make her like wu ao shi
This was extremely well done. You covered a lot of material with good supporting visuals. Congrats.

@@emergencyawesome I know. One can only hope that the next season gets even better
Those chi guns are a hell of a teaser/hook for IF season 3, aren't they? ;1
That accuracy was TOO legit lol! Both his bullets perfectly hit the bad dude's bullet. What's more confusing is, how the heck didn't his bullets go past the bad dude's bullets and kill em. What's the point of having chi bullets if you need two to do what one regular bullet can already do.
