Hey Brandon, I'm the guy who commissioned this track. Awesome job as always. If/when you do the vocal version, could you update the artwork. I would love to see a picture of painkillers coming out of a bottle with the punisher's Skull logo on it. I thought that would be a great visual for these two characters.
Remember kids, Do Not Cross Brandon Yates else he never accepts your commissions even if you pay him. While I've never heard of the matchup, I fully agree that Max Payne VS The Punisher sounds hype as hell on all sides, musically-included. And this track proves it for sure. It perfectly mixes the melancholy, sadness and brutality of the characters with the sheer hype and epicness they also have. Results in a song where you can definitely tell that those two characters are torn veterans but that's also extremely dynamic and energetic to get across that, beyond everything, those two also just are really cool when they get down to business. I really like this dynamic that the song has honestly, makes for a great contrast with Unforgiving Justice which was much more focused on the gritty and sombre side of the characters (to no fault, it was great) which makes this one feel totally unique too. And besides, it's not like it 100% focuses on that more energetic and intense feeling, it also has breaks and calmer moments that help make it feel dynamic and not end up redundant. For example the last break of the song at 3:37 which has a very unique guitar/synth melody to it that perfectly conveys that epic yet melancholic/sad feeling fitting of both characters and that's a thing heard throughout the entire song which I really like. I won't go over each segment because I honestly just don't have the time but I'll emphasize how I enjoy the song a lot. It's very catchy and fits all sides of the characters while differentiating itself a lot from the other main Punisher track on this channel which makes it really cool. Overall this track follows the streak that Brandon's been on recently of being absolutely amazing *and* memorable. Honestly I'm having a hard time keeping up with the recent tracks because they all feel special and are extremely enjoyable but I just don't have the time or inspiration to review all of them properly which feels like a bummer to me because they all deserve high quality due to how good they are. Still, this won't stop me from exposing how much I like them and this one is no exception. It fits the characters, is catchy and sounds unique which is everything you might want from a song as such. Amazing job as always with this.

He could be considered a street level character. Wall to building level AP and durability, increased pain tolerance, more guns than he should realistically be able to carry. Painkillers that magically fix bullet wounds (and allow him to "cheat death" in Max Payne 3.) His biggest advantage is his signature Bullet Time that - as the name might suggest - slows down time to the point he can watch the bullets fly past him. That being said, for everything Max has to offer (minus BT) Frank has him bested. Better training (military vs police), better equipment, more experience, more everything. Plus he actually wears some body armour instead of a rather cool leather jacket. I love Max to death, but Frank would be the Payne Killer in this fight.

Vox is an Overlord like Alastor, meaning that he can gain possession of other sinners' souls through contracts. He can also travel through cameras and can effectively hypnotize people with his broadcasts. And for what it's worth, he also has a song that he sings called Stayed Gone (though Al kind of hijacks it for himself).

He could be considered a street level character. Wall to building level AP and durability, increased pain tolerance, more guns than he should realistically be able to carry. Painkillers that magically fix bullet wounds (and allow him to "cheat death" in Max Payne 3.) His biggest advantage is his signature Bullet Time that - as the name might suggest - slows down time to the point he can watch the bullets fly past him.
That being said, for everything Max has to offer (minus BT) Frank has him bested. Better training (military vs police), better equipment, more experience, more everything. Plus he actually wears some body armour instead of a rather cool leather jacket. I love Max to death, but Frank would be the Payne Killer in this fight.

@@darkusbowser524 Vox is about as strong as Alastor, possibly stronger even (when talking about the radio demon, one of Vox's friends asked if he was still pissed that Alastor ALMOST beat Vox one time, insinuating that Al hasn't actually beaten Vox).
Vox is an Overlord like Alastor, meaning that he can gain possession of other sinners' souls through contracts. He can also travel through cameras and can effectively hypnotize people with his broadcasts. And for what it's worth, he also has a song that he sings called Stayed Gone (though Al kind of hijacks it for himself).
