1:36:00 besides the "gotcha" part of the argument, i actually think the question of whether one would eat lab-grown meat, as a vegetarian, is really interesting, because its so different for different people. i personally am vegetarian because i dont like the taste and thought of eating meat, so i wouldnt eat it, but a friend of mine is vegetarian because she doesnt want animals to die for her food, but she likes/liked the taste of meat, so she probably would eat lab-grown meat i think every opinion on it is valid and its a very interesting conversation to be had, when in good faith
I'm vegetarian for a couple reasons but one is to reduce my carbon footprint. I was just talking about lab grown meat with my husband and I wasn't sure how I felt. It feels a little gross (because meat lol) but I'm super curious if it has a lower carbon footprint then regular chicken. Because many people could eat lab grown meat without becoming vegetarian and maybe that wouldn't change their lifestyle at all. If it's low carbon footprint then it could be a great option for those people!
For your vegetarian friend who likes the taste of meat, I suggest "Eat Meati" chicken! I have found it at Whole Foods and I'm truly *shocked* at how much it tastes like chicken. It's made out of mushrooms :)
Or there’s me who only eats meat for health reasons due it being more convenient and practical for protein content - so I think I’d really like lab grown meat. I support all opinions on this little itty debate tho. I used to be vegetarian but chose to go back to eating meat bc I was not feeling well, and it wasn’t working out for my lifestyle.
Regarding vegetarian foods: I got mad fun of in high school because I asked what was in a veggie burger ... l meant what ~kind~ of veggies are in it, but I got laughed at nonetheless.....
Love all the color! When you were talking about tool mod - do you need to have that mod installed for the changes made with it to be in effect if you download the lot? For example, do you need tool mod if you take a lot from the gallery with a rug that was resized using tool mod?
The other commenters answer the question and I was curious about the answer to but on the topic of this mod I know Dr. Gluon uses it and I think James Turner does as well(?)
Build challenge: Building A House With Original Mechanics (no half tiles for doors/windows/etc., no double stacking windows, no moveobjects, no half walls, no platforms, no pool) Not an original idea, I just like chaos 😇
