Went to the Friday and Saturday night shows both nights in front row … was very pricey but worth every penny and I hope to go back again in Jan/Feb to see them again … they were my first concert in 1985 and they are still amazing!
I saw them in 85… one of my all time favorites. The Working Hour was a highlight. So many great songs. I’m guessing they don’t do many off Elemental, Brian Wilson Said is a special song for me. Loved The Tipping Point, just now hearing the newest album. Roland had a very interesting childhood, I can see how it affected him. He should write a book.
LOVE THEM. They put on the best concerts and their music is timeless. Love the new music too. Roland looks amazing (we ladies love him) gorgeous man, as is Curt. They are worth every penny! My #1 band. Seen them countless times over the decades, they just get better and better. Thanks for the review!
Worth every penny! This was my 4th show. Tipping Point is a great album. Their lyrics have always been relatable and continue to be so as we’ve grown older and experienced life. Loved them back in the day but even more so now. Roland’s voice is so powerful even if he looks like Santa and love Curt 😉😍
"Funny how time flies." My Wife and I went on the 30th. It was our first time seeing them and we knew it would be good but, hot damn! Love the new stuff, the old stuff and the stuff in between. We are still geeking out.
I'm the same age and the 80's holds that same magical vibe for me too. It's nostalgia too of course. Tears for Fears was the first band I was a fan off. Lost sight of them over the years, but rediscovered them a couple of years back. I liked their new album The Tipping Point. Doesn't really have the bangers of yesteryear of course, but there are some good songs on there. I have a ticket for tonight, their 2nd show of 3 at this venue and I believe their only concerts this year. I'm in section 402 and the price was very decent. Just happy to be there and gonna enjoy every moment.
Excellent band that puts on a very good show. I’ve seen them three times since 2013. Once at a Casino, next at a small theater and last at a 20,000 seat arena. All three were very good.
We saw them last year in Vancouver, we flew over from New Zealand, amazing show Aldo we loved Vancouver great place to visit 😊 Maria Lambert ( I saw them in 85 in Auckland, brought back the memories)
Hey Joe, we were there for their Oct 30 concert. Flew in from out of town, stayed at Fontainebleau as well. Because of your report from previous concerts we avoided picking up floor tickets and instead picked up tix right at the back wall, 304 section, so we could stand up (wife likes to dance) and it turned out great. Not too far, dead center, enough elevation that I could look down the top of the lady in front of me (just kidding, not really) So, thanks to you for some good advice. We enjoyed the hotel as well, the Vegas hotel pricing maybe not so much ... but when in Vegas I guess .... btw, your review and comments resonate with me when you talk about poster stores and such. I'm 53 so just a little older, but this kind of stuff was our generation(s). Thanks for the video. Subbed. Good times. *edit* watched your daryl hall/elvis costello review and I just had to mention that I've also seen hall and oates many times, great concerts, same with elvis costello and the attractions a long time ago when he had more energy. I've recently seen Daryl Hall at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver this summer and that was his "Covid" concert where he left after 3 songs or so. Luckily they refunded out ticket money for that one and it was sad to see him walk off stage.
Glad I was able to help I appreciate the support that you listening to the videos. I do this channel because concerts got so expensive that I feel like there should be something where we can help each other out with tips and tricks and stuff like that glad you had a great time I haven't checked out the 300 section yet but I heard it's not bad at all. Next time you're there check out the area behind the 200 section I think that's the big secret spot. Only downside is you have to stand the whole show but you have your own table in front of you that you can lean on put your drinks on and your phone. It's pretty awesome. I'm not condoning it or anything but between you and I they don't scan your tickets there meaning you can buy the cheapest tickets on the fourth level and just walk down and hang out and watch the show from behind the second section. Don't tell anybody LOL
Gary Jules/Michael Andrews redid Mad World for the Donnie Darko soundtrack.. That is what started it back. Adam Lambert did his own take on that version..
For me it's Sowing the Seeds. Just a Beatle like Anthem with different parts that all come together. And the live version this night was awesome. The only song I missed was Secret World.
I agree 100% . I Was at the show on wendsday night, 104 section. Great show, going back memory lane.. I just turned 50.so I can identify with what you are saying.
Went to two shows - first show on the floor (5th row). Love being that close but yeah, I am not a small guy, so I am right on the people next to me. Also..the chairs slide.. so the folks behind us slid them forward a bit.. Everyone was standing the entire show. was in section 302 (center) 2nd row for 2nd show.. MUCH more room, real seats, cup holders, leg room as well. Its great. Now.. if you want to stand up.. it might be a problem.. as Vegas is a different place.. and some are very aggressive about not standing (ran into that issue). Still seats were under $100 (before fees).
Has Fontainebleau improved the sound? I see good shows coming, but was really disappointed with the quality of the sound there. I also agree the banquet chairs kill sitting on the floor for me.
@@LasVegasExplorer I heard other people complain in the past about the sound there. But it sounded fine to me. I never noticed the bad sound there perhaps it's in the upper sections I've never been in the 300s or 400s. I know a lot of people complain about the sound that Allegiant but that's usually on the higher levels too. And yeah four seats are ridiculous I don't know whose bright idea was to do that they need to change that ASAP
@ Thanks for responding. Well go back and try the permanent seats. We thought the sound was “boxy” our first couple of visits (on floor) and Daryl Hall seemed pretty cantankerous over the sound during his set.
@@LasVegasExplorerhow is that that show and I think Daryl was the problem LOL if you go to my review from that show and read all the comments from all over the country. Daryl seems to complain at every show about the sound so I think it's his gear or his sound guy or his voice lol I saw Hootie and the Blowfish there a couple months ago I thought they sounded fine

The title track "the tipping point" is a HUGE banger, see if you can find the video and turn it up. It transports! :)

The most compelling reason to see this show is for the new music. No need to wax nostalgic. Epic concert.

You gave them an 8.9? Really? Your couldn't round up a tenth of a point?
Venue is absolutely horrible, floor seats were AWFUL,,,,wayyyy too many new songs. Boring Overall not worth the overpriced ticekts
