Deerhunter is one of the best band that I've come across. I feel like there are some songs that are so priceless that they should stay under the bushel, like Twilight At Carbon lake.

I've been obsessed with deerhunter eversince I saw them play live. Their music has over the years accumulated to this nostalgic yet sometimes hopeful mix of feelings that I get everytime I listen to their music. Very thankful to have spent so much time with them. and somehow I get the feeling that music is the only thing that'll stay with me all the way to my deathbed
This movie I watched it along time ago and i still remember this movie by heart. It's such a sad ending also an open ended one it's confusing but depicts the teenage life correctly
Autumn is a terribly dark time where I live. The days get miserably short and the tiny glimpse of daylight we get is often covered by a slab of gray clouds that cover up the entire sky. Constant rain, no blue sky for weeks and darkness that eats away the time that used to be occupied by sunlight. During times like these Deerhunter's discography is exactly what I long for. I had Microcastle, Cryptograms and Halcyon Digest on constant repeat last fall. I would take these albums on every single one of my frequent walks around my hometown. Something about the darkness and occasional hopelessness of the lyrics combined with the dreamy, yet gloomy production is perfectly suited for this time of the year. Instead of combating the darkness and melancholy of autumn time, I embraced it. And somehow, that made everything more bearable.

It's all good though, Deerhunter elicits that response from me, but not everyone else. Radiohead is a solid band to be obsessed with, a lot to dig into. Jonny Greenwood soundtracks for films are also amazing imo, alongside Thom Yorke's. I need to get into Beach House, I love dream pop/shoegaze, so it'll land well with me I imagine.

Thing with Radiohead is that I've been into them for almost 25 years now and I never get tired of it or bored with it. Anyway, I would start with "Teen Dream" and give that a couple listens. If you like dream pop/shoegaze I guarantee you you will fall for Beach House.
