- After moving from Toronto to Victoria, Natasha and her daughter were looking for a fresh start and a new lifestyle. A desire to simplify life, create more free time and live closer to nature lead them to the decision to build a tiny house on wheels where it is now situated on a beautiful rural property in the Cowichan Valley.

The mother / daughter duo managed to find an incredible parking spot for their tiny house, parking up next to a huge greenhouse where they use permaculture principles to grow their food and even a little farm stand where they can sell their produce, giving them the ability to make some additional income.

The tiny house itself is beautifully built. Designed have three seperate rooms, giving the mother, daughter and a guest their own sleeping space, the home is artistically constructed with lots of beautiful personal touches which really help to make the tiny house a home.

To the guys saying tv is dead, they could still post videos on youtube, but what your not grasping is that there is another audience to be captured that watch tv, i.e the elderly or technophobes so they would therefore capture a wider audience aswell as us.

I've seen every one your videos, Bryce. This is the first one that I have commented on. Nothing I appreciate more than "being genuine". Your new friend Natasha is exactly that. Natasha, I also appreciate the things you didn't say. Sorry for the hardships you went through. I build tiny homes and cabins, I understand completely. Your place is seriously cool. You will do well there, I'm sure.
Even my son who’s 8 loves this show. He loves the music. He also loves the fact that people can live in such small spaces. Where we live isn’t as green as they show here on the show but he loves the fact there is that possiblity that he can live like this too.

I discovered this channel a few months ago and I am hooked. I never plan to live in a tiny home but I am fascinated with the use of space. I live in a townhouse and also have a small condo in FL. I plan to put the things I am learning about creating space for storage to work in the condo. I am in the process of a major declutter in my townhouse. My husband wants to keep all the things, but I am getting rid of all the stuff we don't use. I want him to start watching your videos to see how peaceful an uncluttered, efficient home can be. I have surfed many tiny houses, it's really pleasant to watch the residents interacting in their home. I found Natasha's daughter such a cute little girl and a natural childlike behaviour hardly seen in most kids today.
Whenever I feel sad, I just watch videos of tiny houses and almost instantly all my problems go away. Keep those videos coming! Loving all of them. I really love Bryce’s personality as well. Seems so genuine. 😊

and all that free farmland...didn't pay a dime...just built the tiny house, found a place to park it and the land became hers to own....you too can have free land....just build a tiny house and the place it it sits becomes your land...

Thomas Ranjit I think you are missing the point. People want to live without debt. They also desire a simpler lifestyle, not working all the time in an office. They aren’t poor, shoved into a tiny house but desiring the mansion. This is their choice.
Love the hammock! Such a great and simple idea for a tiny house! (Likewise I had a swing hanging in the middle of my appartment, I reasoned that if I raise a kid in the city (Amsterdam) he or she should at least be able to swing in the house 🙂)
this is my favorite one yet... with blood sweat and tears, she has made an amazing home for her and her beautiful daughter!!

I love tile in her bathroom and the greenhouse. The greenhouse on the back porch is great for a fall/winter/spring/seed starting for the greenhouse. I love the wood on her stairs and love living in her home instead of a showcase home. God bless them.

I love this warm and artsy home! I've watched sooo many tiny home videos over a few years, and although i like the modern design, and the minimalist, zen feel, that's incorporated into many of them, MOST that i've seen, while warm and calm looking, really lack the eclectic, artistic vibe i love. It's awesome to see a tiny home with such an artistic and beautifully personalized interior that's not off-the-rack in terms of how the interior space is set up. Cheers to Natasha!

This is a really sweet and cozy build, I like it a lot. Watching this channel gave me a lot of inspiration to start a tiny house project of my own. And now that I have started doing it and seeing how smaller space is not that big of a downside for me, I am loving it even more. People nowadays think they need huge spaces and a whole bunch of stuff but once you start removing things you don't really need, you get pretty happy with yourself. Being a slave to material possessions can be exhausting. I am very glad that this whole movement is gaining traction and that we can live in this day and age where we have platforms like these to inspire us to start our own projects. Thank you guys for working on this channel and spreading the idea and showing these amazing builds. You're awesome.

I'm a dying baby boomer and I have been watching Bryce and the Tiny House Movement for at least a couple of years and I rarely watch TV this comment is directed to one of Bryce's smart "..." commentors below. Good work Bryce. I only dream I could live tiny but just dreaming is a whole lot of fun. Thank you for all you have done for the Tiny House movement. A tiny house is not for everyone but even some of your own "dying" baby boomers have great tiny homes!

I built my own house too. I can relate to her because all the stress that comes with the hard work that it has to be put into building your own space can be overwhelming, especially if you don’t have experience in construction. However just like she said, the feeling of achievement after finishing your own home makes every tear dropped worth it. Congratulations to her for not giving up on her dream, she will be an amazing example for her daughter. I’m sure that they are going to live happy in that home.
