Pharaoh, when suffering under the judgments of God, acknowledged his sin in order to escape further punishment, but returned to his defiance of Heaven as soon as the plagues were stayed. These all lamented the results of sin, but did not sorrow for the sin itself. But when the heart yields to the influence of the Spirit of God, the conscience will be quickened, and the sinner will discern something of the depth and sacredness of God's holy law, the foundation of His government in heaven and on earth. The "Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world," illumines the secret chambers of the soul, and the hidden things of darkness are made manifest. John 1:9. Conviction takes hold upon the mind and heart. The sinner has a sense of the righteousness of Jehovah and feels the terror of appearing, in his own guilt and uncleanness, before the Searcher of hearts. He sees the love of God, the beauty of holiness, the joy of purity; he longs to be cleansed and to be restored to communion with Heaven. SC 24.1 - SC 24.2
16:22 This is where our ministers and leaders fail to recognize that God cannot have a people, broken and damaged by sin, when we suggest we ‘deserve punishment’ for sin. This is darkness that sadly persists from THE darkness of the dark ages where God is seen as the source of infliction of punishment, thus we need a legal blood payment made to a ‘broken’ law (which is more evangelical Protestant garbage; yes, it's garbage.) to affirm the sanctity of the broken law because we still believe God functions like a creature and thus His Law-His design for life-functions no differently than that lf a creature-a system of rules without inherent consequence that requires the rule-giver to police breeches in the rules and thus prescribe punishments for violations of the law. If that were the case, why is that it was the unbroken law placed in the earthly sanctuary? If the broken law requires a death penalty be paid then it is God who inherently becomes the source of pain, suffering, and death. Pastor Myers, you need to let go of the darkness of the teachings of Martin Luther who had just come out of the darkness of the Roman church. He didn't even believe Hebrews, Jude, James, and Revelation were inspired; books that clearly outline the Great Controversy theme in Scripture. We need to let go of these teachings that state we are deserving of punishment by God as the blood and robe, metaphors that are teaching tools to reveal Christ *in you* the hope of glory, the kingdom of God is *in you,* it is no longer I who lives but *Christ who lives in me.* Instead of actually teaching a healing and renewal within-it's what I call ‘heavenly legalism.’ The blood and robe are applied in some legal accounting mechanism in some book in heaven and thus they are a means of hiding and protecting us from God who would otherwise punish us if we didn't have these protecting us.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

I have seen that the brethren and sisters have not understood the faith of Jesus in its true light. They have taught that it is healing the sick, etc. It is not healing the sick, merely, but it is all the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament. “The commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” [Revelation 14:12.] I saw that it was the whole New Testament which relates to Jesus. faith of JESUS is not just some HEALING SICK OR SINNERS
