For the protection cap, just add a piece of color tape on it, so when renting is obvious to anyone it's on the light.

Thank Andrew for this INFORMATIVE video. The section regarding color accuracy helps me the most.

I usually spray paint the protective cap with red spray paint
1st, its more flashy and noticeable
2nd, in case someone turned it on with the protective cap on, it will blast a red light and they will notice right away and take it off

Thanks for the closing thoughts Andrew! Very helpful. Hoping you might take a look at the Godox M600Bi sometime.

Re the straps on top and straps inside, we have a bunch of nanlite bags that have gone on countless jobs, none have had a problem with any of the straps. All still intact.

Andrew, thanks for your amazing video! Are you planning to release a video about the new iFootage lights? They realised best led color accuracy and spectrum on the market. Really waiting you review about this lights!

I would be very interested, but at the moment I'm trying to get through the pile of gear that's here

As alway.. the best reviews on lighting found here, Andrew. One comment.. can you double check that optical spot brightness number you reported? Doesn’t sound like any leko reading I’ve ever seen. But based on the pure visual it would line up with the fresnel in full spot, which looked very bright.

To give you some idea I have 4 of those mounts for my 60c units. I have pre-cut ND.9 gels always in the gel holder ready to go. Otherwise they are typically running at 4% in small locations.

@@gaffergear Huh...Ok!... I guess this nanlite spotlight mount is a little more special than my Aputure . I've never measured but I think it's about 2-3 times as bright as a bare fixture and less bright than the fresnel 2x.

Do you know if they are planning a version 2 of these units like they did the 300 & 500? Looking to replace my 300w & 650w free lamps

Are there examples of lighting a subject?

I bought the light, do I need a 24v battery to run the light at 100%? What output would I get with a 14.4v battery?
    Thanks and great review.

It won't run at 100% with a standard v-mounts. But just buying a 26v plus a charger for only this light may be a bit too expensive

This would be my dreamlight if it had G/M adjustment. The 300B II is a bit too big albeit also lightweight

Is the yoke made of cheap plastic like the amaran 100/200, or is it metal?

Hello, can you tell me what gel filter to use to compensate for the pink color?
