I can't quit a book. It doesn't matter how bad it is I just can't. I have this obsession that I have to finish every book I started and if I don't do it than I can't stop thinking of it till I continue reading it. That sounds crazy but it bothers me SO MUCH having an unfinished book in my shelf:(
I'm totally the same way! Even if the book is god awful and I hate it, I HAVE to finish it. It's like the badness of the book is hanging around, haunting you, until you finish it and close the cover and never think of it again. It's aggravating!
Right?! And it feels so much better to just let it out and let yourself fully experience all of the emotions rather than bottle it up and not get the whole experience of the book.
I love RUclips. It's like a giant autobiography that RUclipsrs slowly leave for us over time. You could stumble across a video of Zoe's for example and if you become interested, you can watch everything she's recorded for the past however many years. It's nice to still watch your videos anytime I want even if you haven't posted recently. Keep it Zoe, we're genuinely interested in your content!
I felt that way when I tried the Rory Gilmore reading list. Anna Karenina will be the death of me. I have a good bit of classics that I loved (more modern classics), but her list has some that I just can't stand (Moby Dick, you terrible book!)

I just went back to school, and during the holidays, i read Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince. But now, I don't feel like reading Clockwork Princess. All of a sudden, I'm in a reading slump even though just yesterday, I finished Clockwork Prince in 2 days. I tried reading it, and I'm getting very distracted and not properly storing what the book says in my brain. *deep sigh* Oh well, at least now I'll get to focus on other things like my homework.😬😬😬
Mei Li i get distracted too. hahaha. especially when my phone is there. last year (summer) i didnt have my phone with me. so i didnt have anything to do. i decided to read my moms books and what i have. funnest activity in my summer ever. hahaha

I had a reading slump for a whole year. Why? School demanded we do a test on every single book we read. now I dont care about tests and Im wanting to read every single book I hear about. So if you are in a reading slump let it run its course if you force yourself to read when your not feeling it the slump will simply last longer. xx
