If you were engrossed in something then a complete stranger comes up and tries to start a pointless conversation while it's clear you're busy, would you be completely cheerful just cause they were trying to be nice?
@@NA-uz7qv I think, no matter how much you love books, it is still necessary to maintain courtesy at all times. So, at best, it is alright to say that you're busy politely and get back to books than just condemning or shooing them away.

I had a friend who would just read her book whist the teacher was teaching in Primary School. Pretty sure that teacher was half blind, she only noticed once and after my friend just went back to reading. I did it only sometimes, because I was afraid of getting caught.
If the teacher says "Why are you reading while I'm teaching?" say "Why are you teaching while I'm reading?" THE TABLES HAVE TURNEDDD

Hiccstrid_Marichat I used to love ASoUE! Some movies are really good, even if they remove a lot, but some movies based on books I just hate. A lot of people say The 100 series of episodes were better than the books, but I’ve never watched them. Sydney Minotto the movies leave out all the details and sometimes put in different ones or switch them up which is SO ANNOYING
My fiance is all of these. He tries to talk to me when I read all the time, he purposely tries to torment me if he has nothing to do. He likes to poke my face. Also, the "It's just a book." is the worst. Everytime I finish a book that I loved he say it to me. Like when I finished Illuminae, I couldn't function around books for a week because I didn't want to move on from the book and he just didn't get it.

Nice. I'm 14 and I've been reading since 5th grade.
When I was 11 I had a higher reading level than my entire class. I'm in 9th grade and I still have a higher reading level than my class. How? Well when the teacher gets people to read they always sound so choppy and can't pronounce simple words they should know right. Gee I guess reading does help with everything.
Kawaii Universe absolutely. I have read a lot since I was about 7( all thanks to my brother) and we read Macbeth in class. I didn’t enjoy it honestly, I prefer King Henry the sixth, but any time I would read, I would put on voices, change the way I said certain words to match with the scenes and speak really loudly for everyone to hear. Everyone else had a really monotone, hushed voice and would ask me to read a lot of the time. Some didn’t but, reading really does help.
What I hate THE MOSTT is when someone asks “what are you reading?” and you have to awkwardly hold up the cover and just sit there.

honestly, one of my biggest phobias is getting attached to a book series and knowing that it is going to finish one day.
when you get towards the last books you want to read them because you want to know what happens( its usually where the story gets juicy ) but you also dont want to read them because then they are going to finish. i hate my life
