I can't even recognize the country I fought for. I did "support and defend the Constitution of the United States", it saddens me to see that elected officials consistently fail to do the same.
I hear you. I just hope they get their act together and make sure we pay the bills. It used to be routine. Now it’s drama, every few months they unnecessarily create drama instead of just doing what we pay them to do. It’s one of the most basic functions of Congress is to pay the bills. They can argue the other stuff later. Just make another bill for that. They keep trying to add things to bills and that’s not helping any of us out here who work and worry we won’t get paid for awhile. Many in the Republican Party seem to act like either bullies or children now. That doesn’t seem to work either. They are not getting what they want by using those tactics. Perhaps that’s why Chip is angry. Maybe he can find a better method to accomplishing his goals. The work is all that matters, not all the drama and brinkmanship. It’s not a good look and accomplishes very little with the money we pay them. They are all young and act like it too. But still hoping they can pull it together so people get paid.

We need more representatives like Chip at all levels.
Everything this country once stood for is all but gone. I gave up and lost so much while serving in the military. The VA and DC reneged on many its promises made to its veterans. It's so bad you can't get out bed without breaking some obscure law. To those in DC the same oath I took, the same oath my father took, the same oath my grandfather took are just words to them. If it had meaning to them as does to us, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in.

Chip Roy's presentation must be made available to every single citizen of the USA. This is the best to the point talk where all senators need to make a compulsory report indicating how Roy's plea is going to be acted upon. Before Christmas. If this is not done, it clearly indicates that America's senate representatives are not on top of their game!! People have voted for them to be on top of their game!!
