Great review! The transition to and from the viewing angles shot was really well done.
Thank you so much for your review, I really found the segment where you actually move the camera to show the viewing angles SO HELPFUL why does no one else do that! Anyways I just grabbed this monitor off of Amazon for $380, I'm excited for the upgrade.
AOC isn’t a no name brand as mentioned (I personally use Alienware & Samsung) it’s one of the bigger & I guess you’d say, budget friendly brands in a lot of western nations.
Yo, the shown model is the "a" model with 4000:1 contrast, the non-a model is with 3k:1 :)
Smooth transition too BTW haha
Thanks for the great review! Very informative! Where can I find your icc color profile? Thanks!
Love your videos, man!
This channel needs to blow up!
Great review as always. I would like to know which one you would choose. This one or the m27q?
nice review but where is the .icc Color Profile?? thankyou.
Excellent review, i actually got a asus vg27vq last week and so far pretty good it does have very slow response when it comes to whites and blacks.
Great review mate.
How does this do at G-sync on a nVidia GPU? Is it as good as a G-sync compatible monitor?
Great review! Have you had any flickering issues with FreeSync Premium enabled?
please review the Acer Nitro XV340CK, its one of the few budget IPS ultrawide qhd, I have heard about grainy text and that the lack of a curve might be a dealbreaker
please cover the ex 2710q & compare it to the ex 2510 & 2780q with the bronze body. need trustable reviews!
@Bijan can u recommend the best 1440p ? Alienware aw2721d , acer xb3 273ugx , asus pg279qm , asus xg27aqm? Best colors , ufo , picture quality and clarity? Speed input lag black equlilizer?
Hi Bijan!
I going to buy a new monitor for my pc
for the black friday.
Since I play every kind of game, which is the best panel to get?
I'm not sure if TN is that much better for playing fps games instaed of a normal IPS (I'm not playing competitive).
Can you suggest me some monitors to buy with 1080p,240+hz and 0.5/1 ms response time?
It doesn't need to be budget.
Ty in advance, have a nice day!
Can you do a review on the Acer Nitro XV272U Xbmiipruzx 27in 1440p 270hz monitor?
I tested this monitor for a month next to the Dell s2721dgf and ended up returning this one because of extremely bad smearing. Color transitions just weren’t quick enough for darker colors; I’d be browsing Reddit and scroll down and it’d look awful
Would love get a good review on the Viewsonic ELITE XG270QG.
What would you say is the best IPS panel gaming monitor to get i’ve look into the alienware 2721d but i dont know if that is worth since im a bit unsure if i would use the 1440
Which are the best monitors for media comsumption + gaming?
For budget setups (i.e. can't go too big, all the way to 4k, etc), it looks like the best pairing for a wide-range of applications is a 34" ultrawide 1440p VA panel (movies, story games, productivity, color-accurate stuff after color calibration, etc.) alongside a 27" 1080 or 1440p high refresh rate (nano)IPS monitor (for competitive games, having a standard 16:9 aspect ratio better viewing angles, etc.) Then you basically cover the gamut of your monitor needs!
Plus, then they should be around the same height and fit well on monitor arms together!
Great review overall 👍. VA has definitely come along way from a few years back which is great to see. I think in time, like IPS, motion blur on VA will improve and see it get a better adoption rate by manufacturers. But in the mean time IPS for monitors, will be the go to technology for a looooong time to come. I remember when IPS first came out how bad they were. But for a number of years now they’ve been exceptional for colour critical work and gaming.
My monitor out of the box, displayed all the way to the edge of the bezel. For some reason (I don't know what I did), it now has a 1/8-1/4" gap at the edge to the bezel. Why is the monitor doing this?
Lowkey showcasing his pro aiming skills. Headshots too easy. ^_^
would this monitor be good for recreational competitive i play destiny 2 and like to jump into pvp would it be sufficient for that
Hi, this gigabyte or dell s3422dwg for better black smearing and response time?
What is release date of revised "A" model?
Huawei has a similar 165hz monitor for the same price. Other reviews seem impressed...mb a competitor to this one?
This monitor is $330 now. More worth? Or have other options come up since?
Ever tried the Asus TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B ?
check the Gigabyte g24f. I want to know your inout because it might beat the aoc budget king 👑. Just a potential buyer of both
Hey Bijan! Can you please recommend me the best budget monitor for 1440 gaming..I'm planning to buy one this black friday..I play all types of games valorant , battlefield, league of legends and other AAA Games
i have the dell s2721dgf and its AMAZING. its around 350$ on my region its a 2 year old monitor so you might find it with a good discount on black friday, bijan has a great review of this monitor watch it if you are interested and let me know what do you think !
Gigabyte m27q
@@KillShot227 all gigabyte monitors (except the ones that are 1080p 240hz) are slow and dont refresh in time for true 144hz/165hz experience and they also have alot of motion blur.
@@garryarganis5801 I have zero issues with the gigabyte m27q. Watch more reviews on it. Great monitor.
@@KillShot227 i will
ICC color?
is this monitor worth it in 2023?
It is a 8 bit Monitor not a 10 Bit?!!
I thought I'd get this because it's on sale for a pretty good deal right now. But... I also need a color accurate monitor... And I only have $400... So yeah guess I'll have to wait until a few years if the world doesn't go to shit
You labeled a couple of things wrong: QWC vs WQC :)
DAD GUMIT! These monitor names....
@@BijanJamshidi Tim from Hardware On Box does it so well. It must be the mustache. LOL.
how is AOC no name? they've been making monitors for a lot longer than gigabyte.
I don't think that matters at all. It's not about how long you make something, but the quality of the product you release and how you market yourself. AOC primarily targets the 'budget' section for whatever market they tackle, using generic panels that most companies use (Which is totally fine) but with cheap quality build materials & poor OSD design & features.
nice
new mic?
Had it for a few months
Great review. I just still can't forgive Gigabyte for their PSU issues and how they handled the whole mess.
It isn't a 10 Bit Monitor is it?
No. It is an 8-bit +FRC panel - so 10-bit color capable, but is not a true native 10-bit panel.
no HDR?
Ya
It's actually 33% better with contrast ratio.
I just checked and you're right. I was never good at math 🤣 I'll use a calculator next time
