NILE's Karl Sanders Talks About NEW Album 'At The Gate Of Sethu' & Shredding DEAN Guitars!

The reigning kings of technical, historically-themed brutality, NILE, have announced a July 3rd release date for their upcoming studio album, 'At The Gate Of Sethu'. The follow-up to NILE's latest state-of-the-Death-Metal-art release, 'Those Whom the Gods Detest' (2009), will once again be released via Nuclear Blast Records. Neil Kernon (Cannibal Corpse, Macabre) handled production duties for NILE's seventh full-length.
During the bands recent tour stop in New York City with THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, SKELETONWITCH and HOUR OF PENNANCE, we had the chance to sit down and chat with NILE's own Karl Sanders. I watched Nile play back in November 2010 and Karl was using a custom made KXK 7 string. So I know for a fact that he has been using them for about 2 years. I didn't see Dallas play any 7 strings during the show but that doesn't mean he has never plays them.

because during recording TWTGD He recorded rythm guitars in drop A, but solos in drop D. So He ordered a double neck W from kxk, where he had both tunings. And as You propably realize it's heavy and uncomfortable to play on stage. And sevenstring is connects the two tunings (a bit) but it is not as heavy as doubleneck.
