A professional photographer once advised me on the importance of using a tripod for object photography as 1. you can frame your distance and close-up photographs exactly as you want them and 2. you would remove any camera shake, especially if you use a cable release or the timer delay that is on both mechanical and digital cameras. Hope this helps.
I feel so blessed to have found your channel. Everything I create (products, books, I make with the Lord). I need to get more cash flow going to fund ministry. As a graphic designer and web designer for 27 years (with even a marketing degree), I was still at a loss to know how to be successful with Etsy. You are a God send - and I LOVE how you give glory back to Him. Thank you and God bless you!
This is the 2nd one of your videos I have watched and I'm finding the info very useful, easy to understand and even better...easy to implement! You've earned another subscriber!
Great tips Kate! This is one major area I’m working on improving this year! Still using my phone though 😆. Hopefully I’ll invest in a nice camera one of these days. Both for video and pics 🙌🏼
Thank you so much for these great videos! Very helpful. I'm a beginner etsy seller and didn't realize my photos weren't that great, so I think I've improved it now. 😊👍 Ty!
Hi Kate, thank you so much for everything. You are seriously so helpful, and a beautiful person!! I had a bit of an unrelated question if that's okay. I just launched my shop. I'm thinking about starting a RUclips channel where I show people my craft. Do you think RUclips is still worth it?
Really helpful video, Kate,! Are there any tools you would recommend to take flat lay photos? Is there some type of apparatus that will hold the camera or phone over the image perfectly horizontal?
Yes! There are overhead tripods that have 360 degree rotation for holding the camera as well as overhead tripod mounts that have a long arm extending over the flat-lay. There are several different options on Amazon!
This so excellent. My Etsy photos are not as good as they should be even though my Illustrated letter subscriptions and watercolor art sell pretty well (Parisbreakfast) Problem - if my images are too sharp, people will print them out, which I definitely do not want. Any thoughts much appreciated.
Thanks for all the info! I'm currently struggling with photos now. When I take the photos and upload them the're clear. But when I go to preview the listing, they look distorted. Any insight?
Hi Kate very interesting on photos, I would like you sell butt I don't even know where to start on Etsy... Do you have too download an app and then what? Really confused on it...
She has a video on how to make an etsy shop! The video is titled "Etsy Shop for Beginners (COMPLETE TUTORIAL) 🙌 | How to start an Etsy shop step by step" She uses a computer and i would reccomend using a computer rather than a phone too :)

My iPhone doesn’t do this next to a window or outside in bright shade. Make it look so easy. .. Been practicing for four years. Please help! ❤
Where did you get the white foam board?😀
I believe it was Amazon. Should be easy to look up.
I make candles and wax melts and I am struggling with taking photos for my Etsy shop

Do you have any videos on how to create T-shirt Mockups from start to finish
I don’t currently but that’s a great idea!

Everything I take pictures outdoors, there is a blue tint to them
What kind of phone do you have for photos?
