Thanks for all your wonderful and assuring tips ! Love your work ♥️
I'm so glad to hear that the light box worked for you. Jewelry is SO TOUGH to get right and I really think that it helps so much. Thank you for watching, Charlene!

Again, thank you so so much for your generosity on sharing your knowledges and experiences, they are so valuable!!! I truly appreciate them 💕🥳
Hi Mei, thank you for all the advices. Whenever I have questions, I watch your videos. I do not watch all of them at once because it might overwhelm me with new info, but I watch it along my process. They are very detailed and helpful. They are like a guide book for me. I want to say thank you for your effort and experience!
Just a tip for a low cost light box- go to dollar tree and get white poster board and a white plastic table cloth- works great! Just be careful with how you light it so it doesn’t melt!
Hi Linda! Thank you! Do you mean a marketing video like a product demonstration or like a sales video to sell a product? Appreciate your feedback and suggestions!
@@CreativeHiveCo I love your video on creating product photos...you provide wonderful info about lighting and equipment. I would love for you to do the same kind of video about making a video...either for selling product...but perhaps even as an introduction of oneself and our businesses to place perhaps on our websites, etc. Thanks!
Brilliant. I am an amateur photographer and helped a family member with their shots for their website. I have a lot of photographer friends and one who loves product shots. Might look to getting some 121 advice and tips from her too. Another amazing - easy to follow guide Mei. Thank you.
I want to tell you how much I appreciate your videos . You take the time to explain so well. Thank you for all the ideas, tips and suggestion many Blessings
Hello Mei, and thank you for your appreciated hard work! You are doing an excellent, intelligent service, for every small, art driven business, and every potential one. Great information and sound advice, from a very talented artist, and successful entrepreneur! I have just taken some amazing photos of my product, and then I found your channel. Apparently, I accidentally used lighting in the right way, LOL! I am about to open a small business, on line, and I’m excited and nervous! All the best to you and every artist/entrepreneur, everywhere! ❤️😊🙏🏼😎
Hi Mei, my jewelry is hand painted and under glass. I take my product photos outside. I found that the direct light works well, however like you said it is inconsistent. Would a photo box work for me? The glass can be tough to photograph. Thanks for all the wonderful insight and information you share with us all! 🌷
thank you so much.. keep making videos that help us improve our small business especially those like me that just started our own business this pandemic for living
I loved your video! It was very helpful to me. Which light box do you recommend for jewelry? I got one a few months ago but the light is too cold and gives my pictures a blueish tone just as you said. Thanks so much!!
Hi Mariana! Here's a list reviewing different photoboxes for jewelry - you can see which best fits your needs. fixthephoto.com/light-box-for-jewelry-photography.html
Love your information and videos! Please talk about how to add sales taxes to purchases and how to set aside that tax money to pay state and federal income taxes owed. I’m thinking of starting an online wreath business. Hope my request makes sense. Thank u!
Hi Sandra, most platforms will automatically calculate sales taxes for you. This page from Shopify lays out some good information for this. help.shopify.com/en/manual/taxes As far as setting aside that money, you may want to keep a running log of what you've collected in your bookkeeping software and make sure you keep that available to pay out in your business bank account.
great video, I wonder if lightboxes like this will work for watercolor paintings. I guess I'll google photography of paintings. I have seen in the past where photographing outdoor is recommended but where I live the weather is indeed very unreliable
Because the lights are outside the lightbox, the light would be filtered so it should just brighten up the painting without changing the color drastically or washing it out.
Hi thanks for your blogs it helped a lot it gives us a step ahead ideas. How did you decide for your packaging? Did you make it too? Please give us a tip. Thanks 😊
Hi Gilbert! I'm so glad you've found my information helpful. That means so much to me! I chose packaging that would best highlight my products and make them look professional and also to keep them safe in stores and in transit. I don't make my own packaging, but source them online from places like papermart.com.
Thank you for this, very helpful. I have an enduring problem I need help with. My products are very shiny and are placed in a glass frame. I use my iPhone to take the picture and inevitably my image and whatever is behind me ends up in the picture. How can I avoid this?
Or maybe they are in a less privileged position, unlike the snotty brats who can afford a large room just to take pics in it? I am disabled person on a welfare check with no family and I cannot afford more than to rent a single bedroom in a shared house. There is just enough room for a folding table (to do my crafts), my wardrobe and my foldable bed. Not even an inch more. There is no room for me to have a lightbox and 3 lamps (where would I keep them when not in use??). I cannot own a fancy smartphone as I have loads of seizures every day and could easily go through (smash during a seizure) 3-4 phones every month. All my pics are taken outdoors on a friend's phone. They may not look great but they are the best I can do.

hello my friend. I actually own a light box from amazon but I do noticed that the gold chain changes it color to a brazzy or orange color. to get the white clean background its almost impossible.
You can definitely photograph wall-hanging items like wreaths beautifully! I’d suggest hanging the wreath against a plain or lightly textured wall with good, soft lighting to prevent shadows.
“How you can avoid harsh shadows is to first of all avoid using flesh, never take photos with flesh.” I heard that wrong and I was very confused for a second there

hello my friend. I actually own a light box from amazon but I do noticed that the gold chain changes it color to a brazzy or orange color. to get the white clean background its almost impossible.
You may need to edit the settings on your camera, or retouch the photo to remove the brassiness.
What about things that hang on the wall, such a wreath?
You can definitely photograph wall-hanging items like wreaths beautifully! I’d suggest hanging the wreath against a plain or lightly textured wall with good, soft lighting to prevent shadows.
can you use a green screen as the background?
Absolutely! Here's a great video on how it works: ruclips.net/video/TW-GRKzEze4/видео.html
