I tell ya!!! This was such an extreme help that it still blows my mind! I was about to do a whole lot of "automation recipes" until I stumbled across this. I ran the procedure and my woocommerce and Ultimate Members logins sync so perfectly and smoothly. I created a test profile email and a test profile, and the results and functionality my mind. And another one-up for the Whitelist security function. Great video. Much respect.
I installed the plugin, had everything setup and spent hours trying to troubleshoot why it wasn't syncing properly. I just regrouped and decided to try searching here for a walkthrough and turns out I had two settings misconfigured. You saved me another day of banging my head in a wall. THANK YOU for the upload!!!

This is just what I was looking for. I just noticed that even after exporting and importing users from main site to the subdomain, the users still has to do a password reset to send the password over to the new domain that didn't have the user information. I made connection between 3 sites, and all existing user had to do a password reset to synch with the new site and new users were connecting.

I had to follow instructions directly, it didn't work unless I liked the video. Soon as I "like" the video plugin started working!
Thank you for this video. I will likely try this plugin. I may not need to use my JetPack workaround anymore. I currently accomplish a very similar function by enabling JetPack Free on every site I manage. Then I disable every single function in JetPack. Go through the entire JetPack dashboard and make sure every option is turned off. You do not need to use any JetPack feature. Some of those JetPack features slow down the site anyway. The only JetPack feature you really need is to turn on:
Allow users to log in to this site using WordPress.com accounts
Match accounts using email addresses

It was my lucky day finding this excellent lesson. I had been struggling with WP Remote Users Sync for at least a week with increasingly frustrating results. I followed the step by step instructions one step at a time and the darn thing finally works perfectly. The settings look exactly like the ones that had been failing me for several days, but darned if it doesn't work now. Must have been one tiny detail that I wasn't getting right. Thank you!
Now, the remaining frustration comes when pushing my staging instance to the live instance. After the push I have to go back onto both instances and reverse the incoming and outgoing roles. Really not a big deal except for those meta and user roles that have to be set again on the Live instance. Any tips on that?

This is GREAT! QUESTION: Would I need to do the same thing for sites that all belong to the same WordPress Network? I have three sites in one network but the root site (site 1) I don't want the users to access but it would be great to sync them with Site 2 (Membership Site) & Site 3 (WooCommerce). Just wondering if this is overkill in on the same network and there is an easier solution or if this solution would be fine. I wish I could sync a Shopify site with a WordPress site!

Everything is working fine, all the tests are OK but when creating or modifying user role is not syncing.
I am using 2 sites in which 1 site is on subdirectory and 1 top-level domain using a single database.
Custom User and Usermeta table is enabled.

I do have a question. What if the "mothership" site has many users and the "second" site is new and does not. Will the users exist there too ? Or does it matter ? And if not, how can I add users from one site to the other?
Hi! Cool plugin. Will this kind of sync also work with Membership Plugins like Memberpress? Usecase would be: offering special memberships that offer access to two or more sites (namend in the membership).

If a membership plugin is used with different membership levels bought for a fee, can the membership level also be pushed between all sites from the site they joined and bought a level on?

Same log in would be great for all
But would there be any interfearance with wishlist doing its thing to make sure the groups, pages, community levels etc. for each are kept separate so if they paid on one site but not the others they don't get a free doorway in? Sorry if I didn't word that well

Can I just sync Admin and Editor users?
The last thing I want is a clients entire user dB be synced across to another site.
Can you limit the users that are synced across? Because I may only want to have the developer users to be synced, but not my client user accounts for when they maintain their own site. But my Admin account remains active because I am requested to do maintenance on the site. But I have say, 10 sites, that I manage, but they are for different clients. I obviously wouldn't want my client from one site to have access to another client's site. The plugin sounds interesting, but a key function for client/developer managed sites that I work on. Thanks.

I really need this plugin but can't get it to work in a multisite installation where the main site is the mothership. I just need to sync multiple roles that are added and removed based on membership subscriptions (Memberpress). Upgrading and downgrading will change a user's custom roles and I need the changes immediately reflected across all subsites. Can someone help me solve this, I've been banging my head on the wall for a week over this :-D Thanks!!
