Adam! Super video and walkthrough. As a Fluent Form user (used a lot of the others) this is good news, certainly will be ordering the lifetime special through your link. You give a lot of added value, so don't mind supporting you at all.
My 2¢ worth - Every website should be using a third-party AUTHENTICATED SMTP service if you want those emails having a better chance of arriving and not being sent to the SPAM/JUNK folder. We provide all our WP clients our SHARED Mailgun if they do not send that many emails per month otherwise we recommend they get their 3rd Party SMTP account at the service of their choice, Mailgun, SendGrid, Amazon SES, Send in Blue (has their own stand-alone SMTP service). Get it set up, it really isn't that hard to set up.

First of all I would like to thank you very much for the clear and very useful videos that you have made available to us. This really helps me a lot and I am so enthusiastic about everything that is possible (partly because of your help)! What I regularly miss is an explanation of what to do if something regarding the settings does not go smoothly as it should. So what to do the moment you get an error in one of the setup steps. I don't know if you can do anything with this, but if you could make that as additions to the tutorials or maybe make a separate tutorial for this it would be 100% perfect and awesome!

Thank you for the great video - went ahead and subscribed. But: I am trying to segment an imported list (Woocommerce customers) by products they have bought in the past (that are part of their order history), but am unable.
I am not looking for an automation triggered by future orders, but a segmentation of an existing customer base. Assignment to Lists (hierarchical taxonomies) and tags (flat taxonomies) is manual or via automation. Dynamic Segmentation does not have a condition ('if customer bought product or Variation x") to segment based on past buying behaviour. Do you have any suggestions?

hi adam, you talk @23:00 about SMTP services, like amazon SES for 0,1cents/1000 emails. A nice tip: Cloudways offers an elasticmail addon for the same price, and no configuration needed if you use cloudways hosting! But I guess you already knew that! :)
Yep Elastic mail and it may be a lot easier to setup :-)
Is there the possibility to translate the tool? As the GDPR is heavy on the workflow of an online-marketer.... as a german web designer I am always on the lookout for tools. But my customers do not speak english....

In the videos on cloudways you showed some option for mail hosting, like Backspace and Hostinger. If i use AWS ses do i still need one of the following services?
That is for having email address, this is for storing emails, sending bulk emails, sending email sequences, etc.
I was going to buy Fluent CRM but then I saw that it is primarily compatible with Fluent Forms, which is another paid service (to get it working the way I want) and so I am holding off... Do I have to pay for Fluent Forms if I buy Fluent CRM?

Hello, I have bought this plugin. I have found some fantastic features and some, not at all, but in general, this tool is more than enought to supply any email marketing platform. Just a question, do you know how to delete all database? I have tried going to General settings>>Tools, but I receive a message saying that I have no permission to do that, and if I want, I must define fluentcrm_is_dev_features in wp-config, and then I don´t now what to do? If using FluentCRM, do I still need an email marketing platform like Sendinblue, Aweber, MailerLite, etc? Or is FluentCRM replacing them all? One other question: Will it work with any payment gateway? I am in South Africa and I will be using PayFast or PayGate for my WordPress eCommerce shop. My WP theme is Woodmart. I heard you talking about CartFlows functionality. Is CartFlows going to provide this kind of functionality (in FluentCRM) eventually, or will the two be complementary? I'm seriously thinking of grabbing FluentCRM for several of my web sites, but I also like what I see in CartFlows. Halp! :D
FLuentCRM has just 1 trigger for customers. Moosend is free which i started recently but somehow not sure how to pick up the new blog posts data from wordpress and send as new article / latest blog. Moosend has many good triggers as well. Good segmentation.

You don't want to use gmail as it has very low limits. I personally use Amazon SES but you can use any provider, even the SMTP with your hosting account. But keep in mind any services that have limits on how many emails you can send per hour.

Elementor forms is coming this week or next. Yes since CartFlows uses WooCommerce, it already works :-)

Hi, Adam! Thank you for the helpful video. I have a few questions. 1) how to implement Double Opt-in on FluenCRM? And is it necessary to use it to send emails consistently and not get into spam using Amazon SES or VPS Host? 2) How do I set up sending sms, WhatsApp messages and programmable phone calls via Twillo? How do I integrate FluentCRM and Twillo and create action scenarios based on the different triggers? Can UnCanny Automator fully solve this problem?

No need. Try cartflows free abandoment add-on. It is simply AMAZING.
@@krzysztofmmichaluk forget about that. Cartflows recovers orders even when the email sending is disabled, just try it yourself.
@@sergiomagalhaes9192 After some time - You are right! I had to turn it off because it was sending so many emails to the buyers that already purchased the products.
I think Uncanny Automator integration will be the absolute gamechanger for Fluent CRM. If I can push subscribers into Fluent CRM from one of the plethora of options I have in Uncanny, I'll immediately cancel my $150+/mo ConvertKit account.
As soon as it's released, I think 1 - 2 weeks, I will be sure to cover it here. The combo will be amazing because you will be able to automate all of Automators actions with time delays.

Hi Adam, I was looking exactly for this kind of tool. What is the difference with Agike CRM? I have a Woocommwece site. I need a CRM to manage all the emails.
Well it would be the main things I showed in the video. This has the advantages of: lower cost, GDPR compliant, you control your data, and simplicity. But there is the negative is setting up the SMTP sending service, but that is literally a 10 minute thing.

Depends on your domain since it's on your website
Deliverability depends of the server provider and your domain score. It has nothing to do with FluentCRM.
You will be using this with am SMTP service, so the deliverability is 100% on the SMTP service. I use Amazon SES which is good.
how does this compare with the $40 email marketing plugin called MAILSTER, seems like this FluentCRM is overpriced no?
Not sure familiar with Mailster. This may be an entirely different feature set.

Avada never will be a competitor to any theme. I just feel sad for the people that get sucked into Avada.

Thanks for help. I have 3 questions :
1. How to stop the sequence when there is a sale ? In convertkit when there is a sale, when a tag is added : "product 1 purchase", i can stop the sales sequence. It's very powerful !
2. Can I add a tag if the person clicks on a particular link in an e-mail ? It allows to unsubscribe people from a sequence or add someone to a sequence. "If you are not interested in product x, click here." I do this with convertkit.
3. Can I add or remove some tags with fluentCRM ? For example : if tag "a" is added, remove tag "y" and "z".

You will only need FluentCRM and configure the email gateway like Amazon Ses, Mailgun and others like.
Yes you don't need it, but you can use FluentCRM with MailPoet if you want to use the MailPoet email sending service.
What's the process for additing contacts through a submission form? How are the fields resolved, can tags be applied? What tool to use?
As of right now, I believe Fluent Forms are the only supported contact form. They are working on other integrations including Elementor forms, for instance. Yes, tags can be applied as part of the "Automations". (They were called "Funnels" at the time of this video)

You can use FluentCRM on shared hosting plans. FluentCRM will require an email service to function. you can use any SMTP plugin or use FluentCRM's free SMTP plugin to ensure that your emails don't end up in the spam folder.

They as developer need to specify optimum server resources required for running the crm as it's still need to run the script based on cron job.
Imagine you got 100000 email scheduled to send in 1 hour. That's required a lot resources even you sending via 3rd party smtp.
When they release their SMTP plugin, I am sure it will use the API for all these services which will not slow your website down or use resources.
It would be awesome to have the email designer pull the design from like Elementor short codes.
It would be a nightmare getting anything designed in Elementor to work across even the major email clients. Elementor was made to design websites, not emails.
They said its really complicated the email code formatting.
FluentCRM looks nice in the back-end, but Groundhogg has more features and more users. A new UI update to Groundhogg (which is planned) will make Groundhogg better. What do you think Adam?
Groundhogg is excellent too. I currently use it in one of my sites. It's really feature rich and Adrian is a very nice guy.
The only cons, IMO, is that is not intuitive (although I already use it with ease) and is monthly payment.
I'll migrated for FluentCRM because I really appreciate the way its built, the team and the integration with the tools I already use and love like Fluent forms and Uncanny Automator. Not to mention that right now is a lifetime deal.
To me Groundhogg is like trading one expensive service for another. I just can't see myself paying $480 per yer per site for Groundhogg. Right now their UI is not so great, but at least they know it and say they will redo it next year.
@@WPCrafter Groundhogg is $480 USD for 5 sites and once this LTD ends it seems Fluent CRM will cost more for the vast majority of users to come in the future? These types of plugins make sense to buy per site as not every job will need or want a self-hosted CRM solution. For example, I use Groundhogg free and augment with WPFusion when required. Also, Groundhogg's Advanced Features plugin is for unlimited sites which adds some advanced funnel steps and an email builder (a la Mailchimp). But I will have to compare the two further at feature/benefit and value level.
@@DevynBrugge Thanks for correcting me on Groundhoggs $480 per year for 5 sites, not 1. I saw their agency plan that is $80 per month and saw it say 1-site, so I never made it down to the bottom of the page to see the plan had 5 sites.
FluentCRM will go up in price, its a good strategy to start lower priced then work their way up as you gain market share and advanced features. They did the same strategy for FluentForms and now a lifetime license is 4X the cost because they have continued to add features to it.
At the end of the day, competition is great for the consumer because it forces companies to stay on the top of their game.
What happened to Mautic??? I remember you creating some training on Mautic. I personally will stay away from integrating these kinds of features in my Website. Security issues become problematic as you build services on top of your WordPress installation. My invoicing software is built on a separate server from my website and i am planning a return to using Mautic later on this year. Considering how cheap VM instances are, I will continue to build these services on separate instances for speed, security and liability concerns.
Is it a free option or paid one? You didn't mention if this is a free alternative to the other competitors. Let me know so I can start using it.

Mautic is VERY outdated and not supported. Their email builder is a disaster. I know as a former Mautic user.

Parts of it, but this goes way beyond with automation funnels, or workflows.

@@firewalkprod It was originally supposed to end on the 7th and I begged then to extend it to the 14th because I couldn't get a video up sooner. They never said anywhere that it would be until the end of the month, just the 7th then the 14th. I know I didn't make a big deal out of the cutoff date in this video, perhaps I should have.

I saw the page on my phone when I was away from home for a week and decided I would take a closer look when I got back to my desktop and I thought I had until the end of Oct but sometimes on my phone I don't read things as carefully. I really like your channel but I always miss your product promotions.
FluentCRM is useless without FluentSMTP. At the same time FluentSMTP depends on external SMTP providers - additional costs + too much hassle to be approved!!! All these video bloggers don’t tell the full story.
