Wow, this comment section is negative as hell. It's a very straightforward hardware upgrade with a possible feature enabled by an optical sensor; all this caterwauling here is weird. This would be hugely helpful for FPS games and enable RTS games to work much better if at all!
Anybody who's used a desktop vs a laptop can tell you very simply that there's a very major difference between using a trackpad and an actual physical mouse. Of which the latter is supposed to be the one emulated by the joycon sensor. Saying "they don't do mice well" as a generalization is hilariously hand-wavey.
Err.. it looks the same as the original switch with the gray controllers Infact,it is basically a swirch oled pro, will people actually buy this trash ?
No OLED display? No thanks. Did Nintendo learn nothing from the first generation model? Nope. One step forward, three steps back. You can’t cure stupid.

It doesn't need a mouse mode, Steam Deck has proven already that handhelds don't do mice well
It'll be interesting to see how they use it, for sure!

Im surprised they didnt notice the two usb-c ports in the video
We did! Matt commented on there being a new one - we didn't discuss it at length though, hopefully that'll come in a future video :)
How much are they saying it will cost?
no word on this just yet, but we're predicting around $399.99 / £349.99 / AU$699.95 or lower!
They didn’t mention about backward compatibility for cloud game like resident evil 8 and kingdom hearts on switch any word about that?

We don't know for sure that it doesn't have an OLED screen just yet - so it could happen!
They will sell an oled model later
