Not sure if you will ever read this but hope you do. I have been trying to understand how clothing can be "breathable" for years now and hearing your explanation was the first thing that made sense.
I hunt in New England some days are in the teens or twenties for temps. My question is what do you wear underneath? jeans or cotton based cloths would only sweat in. Whats best to wear?

Just baught me a pair of the banded breathable today. These were very comfortable hope they are all they are made out to be.
