I love this channel. While others dish up what everyone else is serving you are sure to get something different at GBGuns. It's nice to have some variety. Thanks for showcasing yet another firearm that few of us know about.
Thank you very much for recognizing our efforts
I love heavy trigger for my defensive carry, it helps with not shooting something without due deliberation
Great review, even if you didn't have Ms. Teya to be your technical assistant. I totally agree with not reviewing the gun with red dot as this is not reviewing only the gun as you have now altered the gun for good or bad. Great Job, Thanks.
For all intents this seems to serve as an alternative competitor for the G-43X/G-48; similar to how everything else competes in the P-365 and its variants. Sure it does not fit into the "Micro" category per-se; however, if a slim compact sized pistol is what a person is looking for to aid in less printing but keep the G-19 or M&P 2.0C sized grip height, it may fill a void in that segment.
I am not going to rush after this as I find there are other offerings that suit my needs better, but there is bound to be someone that this is exactly what they have been seeking. Thanks for sharing.
Seems to be a great Gun .. Groups pretty well to ! Nice vid .. Enjoy the Sun as the rain & snow is supposed to hit us again !
If in a 10 round limit region, and you want all three fingers on the grip, this looks like a top prospect.
Form factor looks similar to Hellcat Pro, MC2C, Masada S, Delta M, so it'd have some pretty stiff competition without the capacity restriction.
I should have mine by the end of the week! Can't wait to try it out at the range!
You're honesty is commendable. Thanks again for sharing your videos. God bless 🙏
Very nice. Thanks for the share!!
Love this channel. SO glad you have target inset to see impact as it happens, instead of the turn-and-zoom-in as before. Best gun review and info on YT.
Thank you. Doing the dual camera just required a second camera; Acosta we couldn't justify until we needed to replace our main camera. I agree it makes the videos quicker, but just watch, I bet now we start getting people commenting that we're not seven yards away because we're not showing it.
That Federal Punch 124 had a very long bullet on the left, poor QC maybe.
Based off of what I've seen, Rob Pincus is a class act. Having said that, while I think this is a really cool design, it's really about 5 years too late to the market. Firearms like the Glock 43X/48 and longer grip versions of the P365 have already taken over the market.
“…certain red dots…”
*Trijicon SRO has entered the chat*
Interceptor is still around. Their website is still up and you can buy .380, 9mm, 45 acp, and 38 Special currently.
I went out yesterday and shot this Beretta APX A1 I got someone as a gift. It shocked me it shoots nice, low recoil feels good in the hand, didn't have any reliability issue and all for like $320 hard to beat. I want to test a Hellcat pro, and Mc9 to compare to the shield plus I have
I've been eagerly waiting for this to finally show, for several years. More competition by manufacturers is always good for the consumer. But I'm not fully impressed with how it's seems to be functioning. Unless it gets proven to run as reliably as a Glock, it's no-go. A shame as it has some nice features. I'm going to wait this one out for now. I will need to see a few more thorough reviews. I'm hoping it proves itself. Unless it can run with the big dogs ; Walther, ... Glock, ... Beretta, it won't succeed.
Imo, much like the p10m, it's a little too late. If Rob increased the mags to 15rnds and added an optic cut, I might've considered it. These days, with so many other proven brands, it's going to be difficult to get this off to a good start. Years ago, I would've been on it, now....eehhh. Good video, as always though.
An optic cut version is an option
I asked Rob if the PD10 was going to include 40s&w and 380acp ...
@@GBGuns... This gun is already on the slightly expensive side. It should have come with a defacto optics cut. Instead they actually expect you to pay for the option.
@@roberttalbot1658 All companies make you pay for the option, they just raise the MSRP to do it. Businesses that give away "free" stuff don't stay in business very long.
Good looking handgun, not a fan of it being single stack but id still buy one just to have in the collection.
I've been waiting to see this test for a while. Thanks for taking the effort!
You mentioned the magazines are based off a 9mm 1911. Will other brands of 9mm 1911 mags function without the avidity arms baseplates?
They fit and lock, but the mags I tired all had issues and were possibly bad mags, that's why I didnt the footage
Lots of respect and love from Pakistan, I use to watch ur vidoes, learn a lot, Thank u for providing such a detail. Please include Norinco 115/124 FMJ for dinner test, as here In Asia it is the most prevailing and affordable round
Thank you, but I don't think we have any Chinese ammunition on the US market.
Norinco is illegal here.
@@GBGuns well then it is out of our reach (political boundaries ). Recently purchased my first 9mm (AHSS FXS9) after your useful review. It shoots soft and is damn affordable here in Pak. Keep it up sir, I learn a lot through ur work.
🙌🙌🙌
How does this compare in size to the glock 48? Great video by the way and the fact you care enough to record it twice is commendable.
Very similar size except for the grip being notably slimmer. I don't recall the numbers but I think the slide length is somewhere between the 43x and 48.
I'm sorry... It doesn't say "grip zone" anywhere. I have no idea how to hold this pistol 😛
... Excellent dig on that stupid name !!
Looks like a Bersa BP9CC
I've heard a few folks say that. What about it looks BP9CC to you?
Have you ever seen a Bersa BP9 ?😂
Looks like a cheap BRG $199 special. It does look BP9CC ish also. It looks like a lot of undesirable pistols rolled up into one…
@@luckymanham302... It does indeed. The first time I saw one in the works, I immediately noticed some styling similarities. It actually made me wonder if Bersa was possibly involved in manufacture to some extent. Looking at the features though, it seems more advanced than a Bersa BP9CC.
@@roberttalbot1658 yes indeed. I don’t think there is gonna be a market for this pistol at all. I don’t know of anyone looking for a larger pistol that has less capacity than a micro compact these days. It’s kinda like buying 10 round mags for your hi capacity pistol when you don’t live in California or other communist state. 🤷♂️
Can't believe I'm saying this, but have you handled a Glock 43x at all. It's thin and holds 10+1, so I was just wondering how they stack up against each other. That really sucks what happened with your camera too!
The camera was so frustrating! My fauly for trying to get extra work done. I have not handled a 43X, but it seems like a similar concept, just blockier than the PD10.
Looks very lack luster in my opinion probably won't come close to my future purchase list. Good video nonetheless 👍
Yes, it does seem a little lackluster, it resembles a Bersa in a way. It does at least have some nice features, although it's a little low in capacity. Capacity is becoming more of an issue for people these days, as thugs travel in packs of three or more, frequently. Don't rely on being able to do a reload in a rapid attack by someone.
The gun you carry I never heard of GPK 100 what does that look like
Check our channel for Grand Power K100. We've got plenty of videos about Grand Power
Are they selling. Belong to a lot of gun pages. No one has posted owning one. Maybe just newbs are getting them ? Haven’t seen one at our gun club. What can it do better than G48 ?
Good old tula steel case....all AK guys have to love the good old cheap steel case ammo. Also wolf doesnt make ammunition they are an importer, its mostly russian tula made ammunition, red army standard/tulammo is all the same just with different importer brand names on it.
The Red Army Standard ammo I've seen has been Vimpel.
@@GBGuns oh yeah vympel and sometimes barnaul also...it usually is tula or atleast has been in my experience.
When you are taking aim and sighting in the Target, are you focused on your front site primarily? Many thanks
Yes, always the front sight (unless my eyes start failing). Over the last year or so my eye sight has really taken a dive.
@GBGuns thank you Sir!
a single stack iron sights only gun in 2023 . why ? hasnt Kahr been doing this for decades
Yes, but Kahr has been producing the same thing, whereas this is new. Kahr also uses a different lick system and trigger system.
@@GBGuns good points this gun just does nothing for me keep up the great reviews though
Guns are like cars: we all drive something different for our own reasons. I'm not here to tell people what they should drive, just trying to help folks understand that there are more options than Toyota Camry
I'm eagerly awaiting the Kahr double stack that's supposed to be announced soon.
Thanks GB. Great job. Good info. God bless.
LETS GO BRANDON
And you could have easily recovered the deleted files with a software by the name Drive recovery, I had accidentally formatted my hard drive and was able to recover 100% data with it,
... Five years to get the bugs out of a Glock 48 equivalent, and it has possible extraction issues, and possible failure to lock back reliably issues ?!?
This is not the Glock design internally.
Where is Teya?
She couldn't make it to the range that day.
@@GBGuns y’all are a dynamic duo
I know, unfortunately she couldn't make it the day this was filmed, and as it was a rare sunny day I filmed a few videos that day.
Sadly this gun is way to late to market.
It’s basically a different flavored G48. (4 inch poly striker gun)
And only holds 10 rounds , which stock is comparable to a g48, except for the Glock you can get shield mags and hold 15.
Guns like the Macro and Sig XL or even Hellcats (and some others) hold more for the same size
This gun might sell to those who just like it in the gun shop and don’t know any better (he designed the gun mostly for novices) except it doesn’t have the branding and commonality to be carried by most retailers.
It’s no offense to Rob Pincus ( never met him but I’ve seen his material and respect the man)
But this is a fun that should have released a decade ago and is now going to die before it ever really gets going
And it's kind of pricy, to boot.
@@roberttalbot1658
For what it is yeah. Like I said in my previous comment, I mean no disrespect towards Pincus but this gun is just a decade too damn late already.
Also the “well you can hold onto it” well thing from the video isn’t a strong argument either when let’s face it you can get half a dozen other guns that do that with same or more capacity
I think yall panned too quickly on the target cam
