      There wont be a war here. Its a multicultural immigrant society with weekening cohesion and fading direction for a decade already. 20 years ago that was different.
      No one will land here and waste time and money on a costly supply chain to support and invasion. The brittish had to force and invent criminals for decades to make this continent liveable. Its like planet of the apes or madmax scenery 100 ks out of the cities. Any invader from the north would stuck in NT hostile nature, rain and heat. Australia will be commercially exploited, side lined, The GDP will decline and foreign conglomerates will buy it out, as it is already. Its a place, not country.

    • @Nathan-ry3yu
      @Nathan-ry3yu Месяц назад +1

      It's sinking because the Indonesian tectonic plate is sinking below the southeast asian plate thats been pushed by the Australasian plate. The same thing happened to the continent, Zealander, under the Australasian plate that is wedge between the pacific plate. Leave only the high mountain ranges that is now New Zealand.
      The Australasian plate is moving northwest 1.5cm per year and will eventually smashing into China in several thousand years from now. Probably making another large mountain range. Indonesia will eventually sink completely under the Southeast asian plate. And Antarctica will drift towards where Australia sits now.
      Eventually Indonesian will have to find a new home. As where their land will eventually disappear.
      India and Africa will also split into several islands creating new ocean sea. That's if man ever gets to see it. We could all be extinct by then. Anything could happen. If all the ice at our polls melt it will not only rise the sea leaval by 190 feet. But it could unleash massive amounts of methane gas that would have formed under the ice and land that could wipe out all mankind

      The military builds bases where they can confidently defend in a layered strategy. Submarines keep enemy naval fleets away along with keeping away enemy aircraft carriers. And they do the same with aircraft too, tankers and AWACS towards the rear and fighter's, bombers towards the front. If the militaries layers security is compromised and they lose runways, they will do what Ukraine is doing; airport and road hop as soon as a missile launch is detected. In Ukraine, they literally have minutes from Iskander launch detection to take off to another airfield, and they have been doing it.

    who is installing the pipeline for fuel?
    cus yeah, australia? refineries? we dont have any. the same way we once took pride in building them and being independent, is the same way we proudly tore them down being "globally united"... we dont make fuel here, we rely on it being made overseas then shipped by a tanker where its then carted around by big trucks on residential streets and a road network where one small incident on any arterial road, of which there are few, can create dramas across a complete city...
    we import everything from china, nothing is manufactured here, produced here, except the basic mineral wealth. and as we give all that to china for free, theres no real issue at all. and every second or third face you see these days is invariably chinese... so how will we know who the invaders are? they going to wear convenient little badges so we know at a glance, huh?
    who knows? if the CCP takes over they might actually start building roads and bridges and improving general infrastructure.
