Those Giant teams were great AND their players were so likeable !!! Such a great unforgettable era of Giants baseball. Thanks from all us long time Giant fans!!!!!!
The way Tim started his career, you thought he would’ve been the greatest ever. Injuries took that away but he still had a damn fine career while he had his gift.
Early in his major league career I remember Mike Krukow saying deliveries like Big Time Timmy’s can break down quickly. I miss the Phreak, he was electric.
I think you've got another big name to add to your list. Actually two with Hunter Pence. In all seriousness though, I think my fellow Giants fans are getting a little too cocky. Now that you've got Friedman running the show, you guys shouldn't have to wait much longer. And Kershaw will have his day too.
You dodger fans suck, if you like the giants so much then why did one of your dodger fans jump a guy for wearing a giants jersey, and then put him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Selfish.
Nostalgia. Thanks for the video. It was only 7 years ago but it seems so long ago. He was so great in 2010, none of us will ever forget that post season. And "money" in the 2012 World Series. Unforgettable!!!
Tim was so deadly in this world series... Even though he only played two games and a few innings... He struck out nearly every batter he faced that series
They should have one for Matt Cain too. He was the backbone of the giants starting rotation for a decade, and the most consistent pitcher over their stretch from 2010-2014. Not as flashy as Timmy or Bumgarner but just as important to the team’s success. Hell if they could have statues for all the pitchers of that era I wouldn’t complain. Maybe decorate all around the inside of the stadium with them.

Miguel Cabrera takes great pride in "not giving away" his at-bats. So he probably knew he just got beat by a good pitch, but didn't think he necessarily gave away or beat himself in the at-bat

Man watching this dude pitch was an absolute joy back in the prime years. Don’t feel bad because it’s over, but be happy it happened. I wonder why he didn’t just stay a relief pitcher? Probably could have stayed in the show longer
he was having too many injuries to perform consistently, it's not like these guys can just walk up onto the mound and dominate. especially someone like tim lincecum, his motion and mechanics are violent. he puts all his weight on his back foot as he winds up, and throws himself forward into his throws. you can see he almost throws himself onto the ground with each pitch. he must've been ignoring the warning signs from his body for a long time, he probably knew his mechanics would decrease the lifespan of his pitching career, but he threw like that anyways, and clearly when it worked, it worked. unfortunately, it's just the state of baseball right now, if you aren't constantly performing at your peak, you're out of the game. today's pitcher's are basically forced into sprinting a 9 mile long marathon.
Tim Lincecum was amazing! Two time back to back NL Cy Young winner for a reason! Clutch performance!! That splitter/change up is one of the nastiest pitches I’ve ever seen!
Lincecum was so dominant during that stretch, reminded me of Pedro in 2000s. Wondered if giants overworked Lincecum hence the injury and lose of velocity down the stretch
420Man I was at the last game in Kc, lmao it was sad. But watching the giants thrive was cool. Solid team. KC got it the very next year so it made up for it even tho they trash now
Jose Carranza I’m not from the south, so I don’t know for sure. But I believe that flag these days is more a symbol for southern pride than anything racist. It’s like a Mexican-American flying the Mexican flag and not the American flag. It’s a celebration of where you’re from.

The way lincecum disposed of fielder was nasty. Fastball fastball outside strike and then breaking ball away off the plate. Im a cards fan but he might be my all time favorite to watch pitch
Lincecum was awesome. He led the Giants with bravado to their first championship in San Francisco. Glad he made it to 10-years in the MLB and got his pension. IMO he could pitch in relief, but he doesn't want to do that.
Yo if u guys see in the front row seats there is a guy with a Marlins jersey I see him on tv in every World Series and he was also in the front row of this years NBA finals!
@@JungleJuiceJoey It would definitely be a great series. 6 or 7 games can go either way. However, our 2016 pitching staff is superior to the 2012 Giant's staff. At least your team became a dynasty.

The first few years of Lincecums career
Quality over quantity! 🙂
Easily a HOFer still
His mechanics require much athleticism. Takes a toll

Tim Lincecum was the most dangerous non starter weapon in that world series. It's awesome to see the footage again.
