      They should have one for Matt Cain too. He was the backbone of the giants starting rotation for a decade, and the most consistent pitcher over their stretch from 2010-2014. Not as flashy as Timmy or Bumgarner but just as important to the team’s success. Hell if they could have statues for all the pitchers of that era I wouldn’t complain. Maybe decorate all around the inside of the stadium with them.

Exodus 20:7 “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold guiltless anyone who takes his name in vain.” The Holy Trinity is God alone. • @devonesq.7533
      @devonesq.7533 6 месяцев назад

      he was having too many injuries to perform consistently, it's not like these guys can just walk up onto the mound and dominate. especially someone like tim lincecum, his motion and mechanics are violent. he puts all his weight on his back foot as he winds up, and throws himself forward into his throws. you can see he almost throws himself onto the ground with each pitch.
      he must've been ignoring the warning signs from his body for a long time, he probably knew his mechanics would decrease the lifespan of his pitching career, but he threw like that anyways, and clearly when it worked, it worked.
      unfortunately, it's just the state of baseball right now, if you aren't constantly performing at your peak, you're out of the game. today's pitcher's are basically forced into sprinting a 9 mile long marathon.

    I just wish Timmy had more of an opportunity to pitch this postseason. He would have been just as dominant. But Bochy had to play with his new toy in Strickland, who will be good but Timmy would have been better. Granted we still won but it would have been nice!

    That action; a pitchers pitcher. If you’ve ever thrown at a decent level you know how pure this action was.

    Timmy's splitter is one of the best strikeout pitches in baseball history.

      @@marclam6173 its a splitter, trust me, its the 85mph pitch that looks just like a fastball until it drops off the table, it's impossible to pick up compared to a slider/curve/any other off speed pitch
