He is sitting down and it almost seems like he is so nervous he is unable to watch at first. Freddie cracks the ball and dad lifts his head. The person next to Freddie’s dad gave him a nudge in the side, and dad stood up to celebrate his son’s GS.

Amazing game, amazing moment. First ever walk off grand slam in World Series history. Couldn't have been done by a better guy too, Freddie deserves this moment after everything that happened with his son.
Life long Dodger fan here , 52 yrs old . I’ve seen both Gibson and Freeman’s homers and they are both legend . To happen to two great guys and to hit them almost in the same spot , in the right field pavilion, of game 1 , amazing. Gibson’s homer was more dramatic because he was severely injured and his at bat was about 8 or 9 pitches long and the anticipation was growing with each pitch . But all in all , both the homers took the life out of both teams , the A”s and the Yankees . Go blue !!
Nats fan here, and as much damage as he’s done to us for 15 years, I love this dude! Humble man, great father, and overall awesome person, couldn’t have had a better man take that swing!

As a fan of baseball, no matter who you are rooting for, we all must agree that the buildup for game 1 lived up to great expectations. You can’t script or want a better game 1 World Series. A great Pitching duel between Cole and Flaherty. Triples for the dodgers, hr from Stanton, base stealing for NY, Torres almost hitting a hr, extra innings (tie game), Yankees 10th inning go ahead, two out bottom 10th Grand Slam for the Dodger game 1 Win. Incredible start. I hope it goes 7 game series.
As a Braves fan I'm happy for Freddie... He was our undisputed captain, our general .. and we've been missing that the past 3 seasons.. He deserves another ring... Enjoy the moment Freddie... you deserve it!
Even as a padres fan, I can’t deny how awesome this moment was. Couldn’t have come from a better guy, Freddie is a true class act and an absolute warrior for hitting through injuries this postseason!

He was a big reason that the Braves were able to get back into the playoffs so many years and get the World Series win in 2021 (Ronald Acuna Jr, Jorge Soler, etc). Honestly, I miss the 90's Braves!!! They always had many role players that made a huge impact. Anyways, Freddie and the Dodgers deserve this. Very well done, gentleman. HE DESTROYED THE FIRST PITCH!!! GONE!!!
I would have liked this team more than the 90's if Freddie had stayed with them. he should have never left, and he obviously knew that, but it worked out for him lol and i know I'm and I'm sure most of us braves fans are happy for Freddie. I really like Olsen, so like i said, it worked out well and like it was supposed to, but Freddie was the face of the braves, it was his team. granted it's very hard to win a world series, and the dodgers are now stacked with 3 mvps, but braves haven't won or been to one since. went to 2 straight national league championship series with Freddie too and same. if he'd stayed a brave, he'd had a statue outside truist when his career was done. hopefully he'll still retire a brave.
These last few WS have had some insane Game 1s man. Also, this is the first walk off grand slam in World Series history, and only the second in postseason history. Just amazing!

A game that will go down in baseball history.
Not nearly as intense as the Kirk Gibson HR
Amazing game, amazing moment. First ever walk off grand slam in World Series history. Couldn't have been done by a better guy too, Freddie deserves this moment after everything that happened with his son.
That was an absolutely epic game.
Yankees fan. Freddie deserves this. He's a great ball player and a better man.

Every fan base has bad apples but the Yankees got some very classy fans i can respect that 👍🏻

Go blue !!
I watched this 20 times now, lol, that was an absolute bomb by Freddie!!❤
He did Square that up ... absolute LINE DRIVE

I was staying at a motel and there wasn’t many channels on the tv, I ended up watching this live. I never really watched baseball and I got chills seeing this. I think I might become a baseball fan
And for anyone who hates the Yankees it gives you goosebumps ☺️
Screw them stankin dodgers! Yanks in 5

Takes a lot to make a Brave root for a Dodger, but this is Freddie. He now goes down in Dodgers lore, on the night we honored my all time favorite Dodger, Fernando

That was the best moment I’ve ever seen in baseball. Congrats Freddie you deserve it !!
I love Freddie Freeman. I have been an Atlanta Braves fan my whole life, and Freddie Freeman helped us out for 12 years (2021 WS Champs).
