Im a dodgers fan, and I love the rivalry against SF Giants. Always been a fan of The Freak. Sucks how his career ended slowly towards the end. Miss watching him pitch.
When Tim was in his prime he was the best right handed pitcher I have ever seen. That wicked, straight down breaking pitch was a STRIKE 80% of the time. Only Bruce Sutter ever threw a pitch like that
Unreal game and I almost missed it, Was at the hotel and someone saw me wearing a Giants hat and asked if I was going to the game.I said yes I was going to the game tonight. He explained that it was an afternoon game and I hadn't looked at my ticket to see the time! Showed up to the game just as the first pitch was being thrown. the energy in this stadium on a Wednesday afternoon was amazing. And on top of that was about 3 ft off of catching a Buster Posey homerun if he would've hit it a little further.
As a UK based giants fan there are few games that are on at a reasonable hour here. This was one of those which was last season and I'll never forget it, major goosebumps!
+jpta162 Yeah, I realize now that my choice of words were kind of ironic. I use ''perfect'' to describe every successful Tim game, however many hits or lack-thereof there were. =]
I will never forget this day. I live in LA (former San Franciscan) ... my BFF lives in Martinez and were are die hard Giants fans. I keep up with the boys on the app and I kept getting updates on this game. We kept texting each other and finally she called me and we had to be on the phone when Timmy did it again!!! Oh yeah .. there will more more!! Go Timmy!
Our little Timmy. God I love that kid. Such heart, he gave all he had till his body fell apart on him. Helped my giants win the world series for the first time since I was born Oct 2nd 1954. Forever in my heart. A true Giant.
Tim Lincecum-One of only three pitchers to no hit the same team twice (Padres), Nap LaJoie (White Sox), and Justin Verlander (Blue Jays) being the other two.
A big game by Lincecum seems to light a fire under the Giants like no other. The Giants were in a major tailspin before this no-hitter, and got things turned around soon afterward. Lincecum essentially carried these guys for the next games he was on the mound. I'm glad the Giants re-signed him.
I will never forget this day. I live in LA, lived in SF for 15 years and a loyal Giants fan. My best friend Anita lives in Martinez and we LIVE for baseball season. As always were at work and keeping up with the game on the MLB app and almost at the same time we called each and and say "Holy shit! Timmy is about to pitch another no-no!" Anita said that people were going nuts at the yard and we stayed on the phone until Timmy nailed it!! Timmy is Giant!
Tim Lincecum blew into the major leagues, won three World Series and two Cy Young Awards before falling apart. A couple of failed comeback attempts that fell off the face of the earth.
A buddy of mine invited me to the game, but I declined as I decided to be a good boy & work & watch the game from my desk...... so disappointed I decided not to go :(
I'm not sure I'd be clapping so much with that leadoff single by Lincecum in the 7th if I was a Giants fan. I wouldn't want my boy running the bases 6 outs from a no-no. But it was just a 2-run lead I guess and hey it worked out huh.
Hall of Fame is what it’s called. Great song for a pitcher that deserves to be in the Hall. Chick music? As far as I know there are plenty of female baseball fans.

He should be a hall of famer. Highway robbery

I could seriously have done without the music
David Brandt-Agreed.
Was there to see this. It was awesome!
always nice to see someone having an awesome day. He owned it!
Perfect game, perfect vid. This is so much more awesome than any clips or even official MLB highlights I've seen! EPIC.
It wasn't a perfect game though. :3

Don Rudd-When the then New York Giants took on, and swept the Cleveland Indians in that year's World Series, highlighted by The Catch by Willie Mays.
@@kevinmiller6380 I tell people they celebrated my birth by winning then lol. The Greatest baseball player of my life time. Willie Mays
2 more times, he closed in 13
He was a really good pitcher 💯🤟🏼⚾⚾

One walk away from a perfect game.
Tim Lincecum es un chingon.

why the music?
He deserves to be in the Hall…the song is called Hall of Fame.
What’s the song at the very end?
I'm not a Giants fan, but man I loved wathcin Tha Freak!

How many guys did he get on Ks?
It'll at even better if he can do it again against the Padres~

How is it not perfect? 0-0-0. Did he give up a walk?
There was one walk; otherwise it would have been a perfect game.
morse had brute strength...picked up Timmy like he was a lil child.
The freak !
Lincecum looks just like steve Nash
I was there #nono
球威が凄い
lmfao against the padres again. of course.
Chick music... of course.
