Hi, just wondering what date you did this drive, the video shows a month ago (todays date 30.04.23)? Just trying to gauge if there is likely to be much water over the crossings and also if the road is still open. Info on the council dashboard indicates that it is open at the moment. Btw enjoy the vids.
I use this site to check qldtraffic.qld.gov.au/ That is the official government one and it says it's currently open so you should be good. Just have to find the way around the head road which is closed.
You might want to check where your diff breathers are but even then you should be fine. There hasn't been any heavy rain in a long time. If you end up doing it I'd be interested to know what the current conditions are like.
@@FrenzyAdventuresjust did this track today. Water levels were pretty low. Didn’t even reach the side steps. Will have to go back at some later point. Really enjoy your vids
Nice couple. Thanks
I’ve been wondering whether it’s opened up yet or not. So thank you for that !
Yeah the big sign was off which was great. The main road to get to it is still closed though.
Another nice adventure, a bit wet but in this heat it was probably quite nice. Like the little lizard!

Hey mate, we went out on the 12th of march in this video so about a month and a half back. Should be open as far as I know.

@@FrenzyAdventures Cheers, thanks. I will give it a try.
@@richardslatter2000 Thanks mate👍
Did the same trip a couple of weeks back. Now has more concrete causeways. Do it before it’s totally sanitised.
That's really sad, glad I got to do it before they ruined it. There really isn't many 4wd tracks left in SEQ
Will a stock n80 Hilux be ok for this? I’m planning on going this weekend

@@JavedKhan-iq3zs that's awesome, it's a stunning drive and thanks for the support, I love making these videos.
Great vid, what’s the name of the alternate route to Head road. I can’t seem to be able to find anything on the map. Thanks!
Follow Carney s creek road 'south' to white swamp road 'west', the head gate Rd 'North'. Should be signed as a detour if the head road is still signed
