I would love to see an approach to mixing the stock instruments of Studio One. I have this 80's sounding track I'm working on using Mai Tai as the main synth, and then a third party one doing other sounds under it. No matter what tweaks I make, the whole thing is just LOUD. I barely use samples or loops, either, if I can help it for this same reason. If they're already mixed to sound a certain way, it colors everything else to my ears.

    I don't use everything
I use whatever the song need
As vocal, if the vocal need compressor i add compressor
If does not need then i don't add it
Use what ever the vocal need

What would you say are the “must have” plugins to get vocals sounding radio ready

Compression, EQ and some type of saturation. Any plugin that is one of those tools will work! Watch my masterclass for some specific plugins. But any stock plugin will work just fine!
