Thanks, the box looks so good.
+cady smith thanks!
Kevin...thank you so much for all the ideas. I always made soap for family and friends. I was talked into selling my soaps. So now I am doing it. I just needed more ideas on packaging. Thanks. MML
Michelle Lewis sure thing!
You're truly an artist in all you've shown us thanks for sharing
Thanks!
You r truly Devine and smart. I love your videos and info. God loves you and made you special.
Thanks!
Amazing ideas! Thanks so much for sharing Kevin. Love the gorgeous soap box. =)
I found your channel and love it. I think you'll find that with the shrink bags, folding over the top of the bag makes a better fit. I used a shrink wrap system for a long while and found that I didn't get cross over scents or one soap competing scent with another. But, it is a personal like. I have also used the cigar band and really like that also.
I have been using the I print everything on the cigarband wrap it around my soaps than shrink wrap each one. It has worked great for me.
II am going to try to make a box as you did on the last demo of this video. You made it look quick and easy. I have a large leaf punch to use as a peep opening so you can see the soap through the box. Hope my box turns out as well as yours! Excellent info/demonstration. Thanks Kevin! Lisa FL.
sure thing, best of luck!
Thank you for sharing your info - very informative. I love the paper box too. so beautiful.
Thanks!
I'm so appreciative of your videos! I have learned so much from them and am a big fan. GOOD JOB!!
+Cynthia Scott Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your ideas on packaging soap. I really like the box, I haven't seem one made like that. Very professional look, awesome. Thank you again for sharing.
Cheryl Barada sure thing, glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you thank you thank you! I make some beautiful and, would be, high end soaps, if I sold them. I give them to food banks and shelters etc.. just a small touch of luxury for somebody having a hard time. I've been looking for an inexpensive box, but, I want it to look nice. This box will be simple, and can be embellished a little to make it attractive. Your a God send. ❤
Thanks very much for the nice comments, much appreciated.
hey Kevin, i think you're talking about Bonnie @ Good Earth Spa channel here on YT..
Thank you for that beauty! It was a pleasure to watch your job :)
Thank you Kevin for sharing these ideas. Some I already knew about others I didn't. And thank for the added information on the different companies. I have used BrambleBerry, Uline (this company will gladly send an sample of any product you would like to try and its free.) Good luck to all the soapers out there.
Thanks for the info!

Small world. I've watched Pootles too! I Thank God for you. Enjoy your shows. Getting ready to make some shave soap somewhat based off of your stearic acid tests and am glad to see your packaging ideas. Here's a soap packaging idea from Pootle that I'm currently trying but this will be our 4th packaging attempt. Hope it works out and I can settle down on something soon. God Bless In the Name of Christ Jesus!
Thank you Kevin for a great and very helpful video!
Love the box idea but they are not practical to my operation but great idea for gifts you could place your labels on front and back

Where do you get the shrink wrap material ??
I think I got them from Wholesale Supplies Plus...but it was a while ago and I don't normally use them (I had just gotten some to try). Thanks for the nice comments!
Great video and I love the HD by the way!
oh great! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Love, love the box. I don't like shrink wrap very much either because I think that soap needs to breathe.
thanks!
Thank you so much for the inspiration! :)
+Suzie Pybus Sure thing!

Thanks!
Thank you Kevin, this has helped a lot!
you're very welcome!
what program do you use to make your labels, and does it have several options?
I use Avery.com, they have several templates and a basic editor.
Great video Kevin! You have awesome gadgets for making those nice soap boxes. Thanks for sharing these ideas. :-) Mel
:)
Hi, what paper do you print your labels on , is it waterproof label paper? Do you use an inkjet? I'd love to make better sticky labels at home :) thx
Excellent Ideas. I believe I am going with the plain bar wrapped in all natural cord ribbon. (Don't exactly know the name but it's brown and rustic). A rustic looking business card with name on it. I just don't know what to do for the ingredients. And then I will put them in a paper bag I guess. Still working on it. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas.
sure, glad you enjoyed it.
Hi I love the idea of cigar strip wraps. If you put them in a box customers cant smell the soaps.
thanks!

¡Gracias!
Thanks for the video! I am making labels now and was curious where you sourced your oval labels as well as your ingredient labels.
Right now, it's just from Staples, but I'll probably switch to an online source in the future for some cost savings.
excellent ideas. thanks so much!
Thanks!
Very informative thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks!
Thank you Kevin!!!!
sure thing!
How did you obtain your website and copyright at startup?
Great info video, thanks.
you're very welcome!
Cool!
with the shrink wrap....as soap can still lose water after time, will it lose water being in shrink wrap if it were fully enclosed without any openings?? Also, can you make a paper label and put it inside the shrink wrap before using the heat gun to seal the label inside?
yes, if you fully enclose the soap it would impede the curing, so you'd want to wrap them after they were fully cured. And yes, you could place a paper label inside the shrink wrap. thanks for watching and commenting.
What The type of plastic bag؟؟؟
Love your videos
Thanks very much!
Thank you so much for all the information. Do you have those links to the supplies? I don't see them.
yes, they are in the about section, you have to click the 'show more' link.
Love this thank you
Thanks.
Hi and Thanks so much for all the information you shared . I'm new to soapmaking my question is the ingredients label for soap I used the melt and pour soap from your local craft store I add fragrance, soap dye can you do a video on labeling your ingredients what we must have I used life of a party brand soap I don't see a ingredients list please help figure out what is correct TFS A'nna
Hey A'nnamaria. Labeling soap is a complex issue...one I'm not sure lends itself to a video. A VERY basic summary is that if you make no claims about your soap other than it gets you clean, you don't need to list ingredients at all. Many people still do because consumers are interested in the ingredients. But in this case there are no requirements for the ingredients, you may list them however you like. If you make any kinds of claims (non medical claims that is) your soap is then considered a cosmetic and must follow FDA guidelines for cosmetic labeling. I would suggest reviewing the FDA website (www.fda.gov/Cosmetics/Labeling/Regulations/ucm126444.htm), I know it can be intimidating to read through it but they recently reorganized it so it's much more user friendly. You might also consider getting Marie Gale's book on cosmetic labeling, she is widely regarded as an expert in this area and many soaper's find her book easy to understand (www.amazon.com/Soap-Cosmetic-Labeling-Explained-English/dp/0979594529/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1419002298&sr=8-2&keywords=marie+gale). I hope that helps some.
this is great! thank you!
Thanks!
Kevin, where can one buy your soaps???
In wrapping method when u use dryer to shrink poly bag then it's heat effect melt n pour soap or is it possible soap starts melting
You need to keep the heat gun moving quickly so it doesn't affect the soap.
great ideas how would tissue paper wrapped with labels
Tissues paper can be ok, but if you have a soap with a decent superfat you can end up with little oils spots on the paper.
Thank you
learned alot thanks!!
Great, thanks for watching!
