- Easy way to dress up your handmade bar of soap made for someone special!
This method will work for any size of soap bar and for any shape. Round, oval, rectangular bar of soap - these boxes will fit perfectly!
For this project you will need:
~ craft paper size 8.5’’ x 11’’
~ scissors
~ plastic craft knife (I used similar but wooden)
~ stick glue
~ paper punch all over the page from Martha Stewart (optional)
~ couple of clips
~ bar of soap
I’m getting lots of questions about the paper punch I was using in this video. I’ve got it from Amazon and there many different punch patterns to choose from. Here’s a link www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004C6G1WE/ref=psdcmw_12898081_t2_B007E1R8XA

You have no idea how much you just saved Christmas for my sanity and my cricut. Thanks for this video.
So glad 😄 Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
Thank you so much..all my soaps are different sizes some square some round etc and this idea is perfect im so happy i found it..when you are time rich and cash poor this is a perfect option
Wonderful! So glad this works for you. Thank you very much for your kind words 💗
This is brilliant. One of the easiest boxes to make. Thank you❤️
Maddellena Mansi thank you! I am happy you found this tutorial useful 💗
Thank you so much Tanya for sharing. I'm starting my soap business. God bless you!
You are very welcome! Wish you all the best, happy soaping!
Wow this is really creative! Absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing...
This is great but eventually you have to decide which is more important money or your time. I used to make my boxes cause they were a different size than most soapers cause my hubby made my molds, but when you have to do 50 or more it’s cheaper to find a box and purchase large quantities of them to save time & money. But this is very fabulous if you are giving as a gift for just a few bars. Thank you.
Southphxgirl Nava you are so right. Thank you for the comment!
This is an awesome tutorial. Just started creating soaps and can make boxes as well thank you for this video 😊
Genius and simple at the same time 💛💚💛💚
Very helpful and easy... Thank you so much.... Also please show how to make box for 5 soaps together ...God Bless you
Mitali Attick thank you. I used the same technique and paper to make two soap box without any issues, but for the five soap bars, I’m sure you will need much stronger material and it would be harder to bend properly. For 5 bars I would look for a commercial boxes.
Wonderful !❤❤❤❤❤
Love and greetings from Pretoria, South Africa. You are truly talented. May the Almighty increase your provision and put blessings in it. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
Thank You so much for your kind words 💗 I am very glad you liked the tutorial and hope you will find it useful. Blessings from Texas.
Most marvelous thing I saw today ✨😍
That is an awesome tutorial…just getting into soaps and can’t really afford expensive boxes. Would you mind giving a link to that beautiful paper cutter, I have looked and can’t find it, all other seem like you would have difficulty as the don’t go on the top and bottom of paper, they are hinged, which means your paper would get in the way? Thank you so very much 😘🎁
Whoops, wrote before I saw the top post…again thank you so much 😊
Here’s another type of soap package you may find useful. It’s simple and faster.

That you for the extra tutorial, it’s also awesome….I was wondering, do you also know how to do a tuck box (top and bottom tuck) was hoping you had a tutorial for that also 🥰
@@lynnbiggs9565 for the tuckbox tutorial you’d need to know all different sizes of an item you’d want to put on. Not so universal template. You can google for tuckbox generator, put your dimensions on and print out the box template that is perfect for your project.
Excellent Job. 🙏🙏

Wonderful! You are such a talented lady!
Thank you very much Nicole! 💗
The most brilliant idea ❤📯
Hi , first time seeing your Chanel. I did learn something today. Question: Where can I buy the hole puncher?
beyond genius - talented I could never make one as lovely or quick as this - but due to budget constraints to make a box using two sheets of card stock - thank you so much - I have more time than money that is for sure - with winter upon us in Kentucky - lots more time than money
EnchantedJourney2012 thank you so much for those kind words. 💗 These boxes are great for a gift sets or any special occasions. Simple enough, if decorated, they may look really pretty.
Here’s also another way to ‘dress up’ your soap. Even less paper.
If you’d choose some fancy type of paper, you will get very nice packaging. Also, you could print everything you’d like on the paper and skip the label stickers. ruclips.net/video/-UdHfYpEp3w/видео.html

Wowowow❤
wow this easiest blessing tutorial. new fan here🙆🙆
azrilia thank you so much! I’m happy you found this tutorial useful 💗
Beautiful. Whats the length and width of the soap....?
This box tutorial will work for any size soap and any shape, round or rectangular, doesn’t matter. Of course I am taking about reasonable size of a soap bar. )) The point is you’re making box that will fit perfectly for your needs
Whats the shelf life of a soap made of 100 percent natural ingredients....?
@@blessoscreations591 depends on expiration date of the ingredients a soapmaker is using. Usually up to two years
One more question.... Insted of using a stick blender can i use a regular hand blender that we use for making cakes
@@blessoscreations591 you can use a whisk or just a spoon - it may take longer, but for some recipes a must. With regular hand blender you are most likely will get tons of air bubbles in to your soap
Can i use this for melt and pour soap?
Regina definitely, they work just fine with any soap. For m&p soaps I would still use a plastic wrap. But if you’re using non sweating soap base, you, probably, may skip the plastic.
Tanya Mertes thank you so much! You are very informative.
Just one word...WOW
This only I wanted thanks very much....

Perfeita 😍
How do you decide on the length of the Soap...
Amith Kulkarni thank you for your question. When you bend the paper the first time (0:45) you already mark the length of the soap bar. Turn the paper around and band again (1:05) - you mark the long side of your box. You can see it at 1:11, when I place the soap bar in the middle. After that, marking the shorter sides of the box (1:14). Please, let me know if you have more questions
@@tiame Thanks for your response Tanya, what all did you factor to finalize the paper size 8.5" x 11" ?
What is the math...
Amith Kulkarni 8.5’’x11’’ is most common size of craft paper that I can buy in a store, also it is standard size for printing paper in any printer.
What is that is s cuttur
Nidhi Patil this is a paper punch cutter. There’s many different patterns on amazon
