Im really enjoying your uploads, its awesome to see the countryside you walk in, sometimes its the same as here in the UK and at other times its like a whole other world.
It’s funny you say that, so often I’ll walk out into an open area in the mountains and thing I could so easily be in the UK somewhere with the rolling green hills. Definitely some similarities. The terrrain in Australia changes so often, then again it is massive as well haha

Another Cracking video Mattsy… but I’m pretty sure you had your snow shoes on the wrong feet.
I’m 98% sure that with the tubbs snow shoes just like Finkle in Ace Ventura it’s laces out. The buckles should be on the outside of your foot. That’s not to say it would make any difference to the falling / sliding that occurred

What an awesome place as I posted on Scotty's channel I've been camping and fishing in that country for over 50 years and there is so much to see and do up there and there is a lot of history in that Country if you only go there and look for yourself

The 8th of December this year will be 49 years ago since I went there as a 13 year old. it snowed while we were there and there was more snow then that that there is on your video. I watched Scotties version and now yours, well done to you both.

@@TheSillySwagman when I was in the army at Singo we had to dig in a position. There were no trees in sight so just slept with the hootchie draped over us. This was great until the rain one night was like a tropical storm. Everyone was soaked but those army sleeping bags still kept us warm. No idea how. Your shelter reminded me of that night.

Are you sure mate? From what I understand, you get Australian ravens down south, around Sydney and Canberra, where as crows are mainly up north of the country and in the more arid regions.

Do you find the army jumper warm? Mines been in the cupboard since camp k since my postings were in the ville. Saying that though after being out for a while I doubt it will fit now lol
The wool jumper is perfect for winter, especially out there. Super warm and won’t sweat like you will in cotton and fleece. Check out the company Interknit for some nice wool outdoor jumpers. Still earthy colours but a lot less army.

Hey mate, it’s a Rode Video Mic Pro. So not the small micro one but the larger one. I’m so damn happy with how it sounds hey! It just turns on and off automatically with the camera which is great too. It’s never failed in that sense either. I haven’t really used any other leading mic brands but I can definitely recommend this one from my experience with it.
