ok, tbh when she said “his dad didn’t want him to raise the baby cos he’s too young”, i thought he’d be way younger than her but he’s only one year younger lol. isn’t she as young as him then?? how unfair for her and seems so entitled on his father’s part

I really applaud Valerie for accepting back Daniel into her life without holding any resentment further and letting go of the hurtful past.

What honesty and perspective. Thanks for sharing! Interestingly, Valerie does not seem to have converted, I guess they had a civil marriage.

My wife is Muslim and I am Hindu, neither of us forced the other to convert because we knew we love each other to know that religion is not the thing that bonded us. I will fast with her for Ramadhan most times and she has agreed not to cook or bring beef at home out my religious duty. She comes to the temple with me and I have followed her to some religious dakwah. Even when some people of her faith tries to goad me into saying I have to be Muslim, I know she has my back to tell people to mind their own business. Religion only becomes a barrier when you let it.

My bro, love one thing, faith another. In fact Islam discouraged a muslimat married to a non Muslim, except she has an in-depth knowledge of her religion, so that she can guide the husband in all aspects of life. Of course, the husband still the man who lead the institutions, & respected by the wife's. Marriage in Islam is about unity,& faith & practices. It can't be separation between the two. On the Day Of Resurrection, both husband, wife & family members will be judged. I believe, your wife knew precisely about this. Hidayah belongs to Allah SWT, I wish you'll be chosen, InsyaAllah,.

@@ruslanmuhd5032 , Religion is just a guide and moderation is key... Letting religion rule your life and dictate how you live your life is wrong... Nobody follows everything 100%, even the most fanatical do not do that.

@@ruslanmuhd5032 sorry by this logic, I believe I was led by my God to lead her to Hinduism and let her accept Shiva in her heart which can you refute since I am her husband and her duty is to follow and obey her husband, see how sexist that was? Her connection to religion is to her God and mine is to my God. I can already tell we pray to the same God just different ways, I respect her as Muslim and she respects me as a Hindu. Allah and Shiva/Yahweh is the same cosmic energy, all our different paths will eventually lead to the same road. Anyone telling me only their religion is right is insecure or don't understand their religion well enough because I know for a fact that is not what Allah would want his followers to do.

@@sairen5121 well actually when u go for religious studies and do some research, theres only one religion and the rest are man-made teachings. The reason why "all' religion lead to the same destination is because theres only 1 religion to follow. If you follow a "man-made" religion then theres where you are wrong because its more a teachings than a religion. Of course this statement would be very offensive. Which is the real one? Thats up to u to decipher and find out urself and follow. :)

@@usagiunagi4195 Mine doesn't, yours does and this is based on Hindu scriptures thousands years before Islam and Christianity even. I'm happy my wife has her faith and she is happy I have mine. We both are good people and we never let religion divide us. Our time in earth is limited so I want to create happy memories with her, I suggest you do with your loved ones instead of going on a pointless charade on how two people lead their lives.
