Is it easy to replace the case? I have the same key and it is badly scratched. Can I just buy a new remote and put my board and use my current key blade?

you can buy an entirely new fob and program it to work with the car and then you can use the original key blade. Information on programming the fob can be found in the vehicle's owner's manual
