When I did a nexus mission, it took me to an aggressive sentinel planet. All I had to do was dig underground and use the create tool to close off my tunnel. Works every time
If you fight off the first wave of easier drones, you get like 30 seconds to run like hell before more appear. You can almost always run away and lose them. There is, or was... it may be fixed now... a bug that would not dismiss the "searching" status and you remain in the aggro state where you can't call your ship. Just reload your auto save.
@@gwoody4003 yeah, that happened to me at the end of that mission, and it really sucked since I had to walk for like 5 minutes straight to get back to my ship
I did a no starter ship game, where instead of fixing the Radiant Pillar I just walked due north for 5 hours before I got to a trade post to buy a ship from. 😆 And then I spent another 3 hours mining cobalt to sell for money to buy a ship.
You can use your exocraft as extra storage too. And what I used to do back in the day, before I had a freighter and 10 storage units, was get a hauler with a ton of slots, store building materials in it and call it down when I wanted to build.
A good way to get to different galaxies is by using the big teleporter in the Anomaly. Go through other player's bases in the list, it will say if they are in a different galaxy when you click on them. You can travel there, and then toss down a base computer somewhere to get back later. If you quit the game without putting down the base computer, you will load back in the Anomaly in the galaxy you started in. You can disconnect from multiplayer and then turn it back on to refresh the list of bases in the teleporter if you can't find one right away. It will put you in a new lobby. Other player's bases is a good way to get materials too, as many will be farms and mines. Just turn off multiplayer before you take the materials. Its a good way to get all the plants you need to start your own farm. And its just fun to see what other people build.
5:11 If you craft a warp cell manually, you only need 25 chromatic metal for the antimatter, which is quite a bit more efficient than using 250 chromatic metal in a refiner.
If you ride an animal while fighting Sentinels they can't kill you. This is helpful when you want to destroy all the Sentinels so you can find the Sentinel base .
getting back into NMS after a 2 year break and a clean restart on PS5. This video has helped tremendously. Thanks bruh. Looking forward to more content in the future
I played the heck out of this game for 2 years after it launched and then stopped playing till yesterday.. I forgot soo much basic stuff that these quick easy guides have been amazing. Thanks!
Heres my nanite tip as a new player of 2 weeks best way i have found to get nanites, you need the advanced mining lazer, but you find a dissonace planet, pefereably one desert like very little trees and tall flora so that you can see any exo craft with advanced mining is very useful as storage and long distance mining, what your looking for are the radiant shards 10 of them refine down into 500nanites if the crystal is at a distance your exo craft lazer will hit it, if there is a tree infront it passes straight thur the tree basically if you can see the shard the exocraft can mine it where it stand..., also watch for dissonace resonators they drop inverted mirrors witch refines down to 950 nanites for 10, they also drop on occaision echo devices witch can help you find a sentinel ship, if you fight the sentinels everytime you atk a resonator they will drop glass this has a chance to drop sentinel mods witch can be sold at space stations for a good amounts of nanites, they do also drop peugneum witch can be refined into nanites as well but its not very effective last of all, every time you beat the 5 waves of infected sentinels you will also be given a sentinel ship crash site location, if its not atleast A class just grab the hayline brain and abandon the salvage mission, hayline brains also refine into alot of nanites... this being said if you are new new and only have the 1 beginner ship just go ahead and claim that first sentinel ship you find till you come across a better one, the reson i say this, is unlike other ships all of the sentinel ship systems can be powered by radiant shards so you only need 1 rss to keep them powered, for on the go refining have a personal refiner on you, or build a base on the planet spend 2 hours farming crystals and mirrors filling all your exocraft storage then go and refine them all down
Whoa.. an actual tip video with stuff I've mostly never seen before. The only thing I already knew was running underground to GTFO of Sentinel fights 😂 Subbed.
It’s not the end of the world, units are easy enough to make, I have a guide on trading you might find useful. You can also duplicate high value items if that’s your play style
Another BIG BIG tip few people share... make sure to turn off PVP in the multiplayer settings. Especially in expeditions. Otherwise you may get smoked 😂 . There are not that many griefers in NMS... but some people... like me... say hello to players running on the ground with a nice rocket salvo. 😂😂 I have accidentally on purpose killed a few unsuspecting peoole this way. If PVP is off, then its just a hilarious moment in your game. Though there is no real cost of dying, unless you can't get back to your grave for some reason and you loose your inventory. All your stuff will be there where you died to be picked back up.
little tip for nice paradice planets : if you find a dissonant paridise planet and it happenes to be one with aggressive sentinals (cause of gravitio balls) your planet will have 2 types of sentinals, you can destroy the ressonators all you like, noone will attack you. If anyone need to cords to one of these planets i can give em to you, i got my base on one rn.
@@jacksonbarkerthebluehairedfox That really is weird. Does the exocraft summoning station work? And did you only unlock the orbital exocraft materializer with salvaged frigate modules or did you actually build it on your freighter as well? EDIT: Also, have you built at least one geobay for each exocraft you want to summon? Doesn’t matter where the geobays are as long as you have one per exocraft standing around somewhere.

In regards to exocraft, it seems I have to first build the exocraft pads on any planet I want to spawn them on before I can use them. Every *planet*
You'll need an orbital exocraft materializer in your freighter, then you can spawn them into any system that your freighter is in. :)

Refining usable supplies is dumb because you can literally make them in zero time with way less resources...
Except if you are doing a no craft run challenge
Why hide the topics in the time stamp list?
So if people skip through I still get some watch time and get punished less by the algorithm
