Very similar pitch to my red pike one, was glad to have a ground sheet just to protect the mats a touch more from the rocks. Definitely felt like if I’m camping that high it had to be on that edge. Cheers for watching bud
Cracking videos Robert 😍👌🏻..Looks a brilliant spot 😁..Great editing mate and you can’t beat the old MSR ..I’ve got the same Paramo jacket in blue..I absolutely love it 😁..Defo need to get down to the Lakes..Never been up any mountains down there..Great channel mate😁 Cheers Murchie
I got that jacket in a raffle for a £10 too. Couldn’t believe my luck. I’m loving the wee trips to the lakes but you can’t beat getting into our mountains. Just finding it harder to get enough time to do the drives then the longer hikes too. Hopefully next month I’ll get up north more. Definitely should get down a wee trip to the lakes, they’re nice for a change. Cheers bud. Trying to stick to a style so when folk click on their like “oh it’s him” or it’s “ohh damn, it’s him” 😂
Lovely up there Robert eh 😎. If it’s windy it’s best not to pitch there unless you can get the pegs in securely which can be difficult because of the rocky ground. Glad you enjoyed it. ATB 👍
Nice one Robert, what a pitch for the views absolutely stunning, Katsu Curry looked nice, did it taste good.? Jenny long legs for me👍 Drone shots were ace👍 Hopefully some decent weather soon☀️🏔🙏 ATB Frank
Cheers frank, always prefer a pitch with a drop off view if I can get one. Yeah. Was well tasty that, bout mikes cheaper than those camping meals too. We’re about to restart the WHW this week and the weather looks brutal first day again! Absolutely fed up of this. Had 3 days in London, 20 plus degrees every day. ATVB Robert
Nice wee pitch 👍 Definitely prefer on an edge when you fell right on the views rather on a big open expanse summit where you don't get the proper experience. I couldn't have sat in the tent with the daddy longlegs they give me the creeps. I would have set Jax on them. 🐶😄
It’s why im taking a liking to the lakes lately, there’s so many pitches like that. As much as I love camping in the d and G hills, the flat rounded tops don’t lend themselves to the same drop off style pitches. Caitlin wasn’t happy with the amount there was. Bloody annoying
Great video Rob and what a view that was! Enjoyed the drone footage too. We had a good September last year from what I remember. Maybe we’ll have a good one this year. Atb. Gav
Yeah I went camping first weekend in September with high 20’s. Didn’t film it as it was a wee getaway. Cheers for the tip off about that ending. Wouldn’t have noticed otherwise, ATVB bud
I really enjoyed your video, beautifully connected to nature. 💚
You got my subscription!
Aww thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed that one and thank you for the sub
Ah mate what a spot that was, I haven’t been up there myself yet. Awesome.

Again, nice one. That pitch was a bit close to the edge for me 😂
@@cowalexplorer aye you know my style, I like to get that drop off
@@Moffatmountainadventures even the drone going over the edge gave me vertigo 😂
@@cowalexplorer that was the plan 😂
