Ok, so I very much doubt "Johnny" killed the man by accident. Mind you he provoked him first and was rather manic than scared afterwards. And to me this is a genius message of the video. People only start enjoying the song after there is blood. The people in this bar is us,we are lusting for blood, drama, controversy. Just think Drake vs Kendrick.

Agreed. I thought what a sad and horrific commentary (great song though) that we’re only happy with drama and violence. Childish Gambino is great at making us think about the state of the world.
Not even involuntary manslaughter, no one is legally at fault there... assuming a fair and accurate judgment.
Blaming the guy who pulled a gun for endangering himself is also fair, and he was gonna do something worse anyway, but neither is a point that needs spelling out.
