Here is a TRUE story about the kings island i live near. This is the kings island down in Ohio, I live like 30 minutes away from this place. And before the place was built, There was a factory that blew up and killed hundreds of people that worked there. A couple years later they built King Island over it, Now there is rumors of ghosts wondering around...
Not true at all the factory that blew up and caused over 100 deaths happened in kings mills down by the little miami river its was called the gun powder factory look it up on here . Begore kings island was built in 72 it was all farm land
I LOVE IT THERE!! 2017 was my first year doing any of the haunted houses there (in fact, they were my first haunted houses EVER) and my absolute favorite was Carnevil. Wasteland also scared me because of the bright lights and very loud horns. We were going to get in line for Urgent Scare, but the line was way too long. Same for the one inside the cavern. I also went into Board to Death, which was ok. Wolfpack and Blackout were also very long, unfortunately. But overall, I had a very fun time there. Can’t wait to go back this year!
I was there this day! Managed to get through all of the mazes before we were rained out though, so I wasn’t upset. First time to Haunt in years and I had lots of fun!
Dude! The whole video is amazing but your footage and editing once the storm hit is some of your best work I think. I was at the park last evening (the 13th) but didn't get a lot of rides in because it was so crowded. Hitting up CP on Sunday.
Thanks, man! I worked on the ending for many hours, trying to figure out how to make it work. Glad you liked it. Hope you had fun at CP -- looked like a windy, somewhat stormy day up there -- my kind of weather!
I just got back from CP. It was a washout, so to speak. It rained for a while but the wind kept most of the rides closed. I think there were only four coasters running the entire day. The highlight was doing the haunt near Steel Vengeance and exiting and getting to see the completed first drop up close. WOW!!
Glad you could at least check out Steel Vengeance up close. I still haven't seen the completed first drop in person yet, but it WAS way cool last time I visited, walking inside that monster and seeing the ride up close. We somehow have to ride front seat together next year and get an official ride POV!
Been to Kings Island. Great park. Halloween Haunt looks scary, fun and interesting. Epic shot 9:11 to 9:17. Hilarious and cute 11:15 to 11:20. That little girl was fearless. I wouldn't mind checking out Kings Island Haunt. Maybe some year. By the way Coasterbob why didn't you attend Coasterstock back in May. I am just curious.
I really enjoy the Haunt, but it's not for everyone. It's great to see the kids having fun and not being terrified of the actors and props. I actually did attend the first day of Coasterstock, but I was only there a few hours and didn't shoot enough footage to warrant making a video. I fully intended to make a video, but with rain washing out one of the behind-the-scenes tours, I didn't feel like making one anymore.
Thank you! I know that you've had to deal with bad weather, too. As long as there are some dry places to stand under, you can still shoot a lot of decent video!
remember the year before which was 2017 it was crazy how they sled me down in the casket my mom was like my baby boy and i was so brave that i even had to scare some of the people while in urgent scare i was even in the part of halloween horror show in urgent scare
I went here recently sadly it was cold and raining and I'm assuming most scare actors left or something because there didn't seem to be a lot of them there especially if you were just walking around the park my group only saw one group of scare actors while walking around the park
I’ve never been to Kings Island Haunt before but it looks much better! Cedar Points Park is becoming too family friendly during the Haunt event it feels like every single haunt is compacted into one corner out by Maverick I’m a fan of intense scares! Kings Island looks much better and more intense which I like the whole Park is haunted can’t wait to visit next year!
I've always liked Cedar Point's HalloWeekends through the years, and I still do - and I love that they have haunted houses open on Sundays (KI does not.) But Kings Island's Haunt has more creatures roaming the midways, which is great, and the addition of the flames in the fountains gives them the edge in my opinion. Both are great fun.
Amber Farfsing No not really The Beast is really fun to ride at night its really dark and you cant see anything the second hill has a light on it I've worked here grew up here i pretty much know everything if you have questions just ask
Yeah, I heard the news about DA. I happened to be there with my camcorder the day it opened in May of 2011 and was able to make a video -- still one of my most popular. Hope to visit one more time to say goodbye, and maybe hello to a Giga!
I went there in 2017 and me and my friend waited 45 minutes to get into the kill mart haunted house and as soon as we got up there they had to shut it down
When I went I had to get a green light because either was to scary when I went it was a tall slender Man looking guy with big sticks as feet to walk and the red demon was even more scary but luckily he didn't see me
Thank YOU for letting me showcase your exceptional talents! :) It was great fun to hang out with you and the Evil Queen and Santa that night. Sorry to say that I won't be back for another Haunt this season to film your other subjects :( Thanks again, my friend!
Who else is so excited for for the Haunt this year?
The undertaker at the end is fantastic! Great job filming Bob!
Thank you! Yeah, the Undertaker made things much more fun. Wish I could hire him to follow me around and say stuff.
Mike (The Undertake) is the best! Someone needs to cast him in a horror movie.
Great video of KI Haunt! Kept me glued to the computer screen the whole way through wow!
Great to hear -- thanks!
yay i'm the slider at 11:56 so cool to see myself slide on video!
SuperGirlAllDay at kings island as a monster that's co
SuperGirlAllDay cool
SuperGirlAllDay the sliders are my favorite! I want to work there and scare people when I'm older!
Really enjoyed that segment with the Undertaker at the end there. He's an icon of Haunt for me.

the guy with the cane sounds like the joker

Dead Shot like the Mark Hamill one
Joker vibes most definitely!
The only scary part about working there is what if you get scared by your own partner worker lool
went to Cedar Point that night. Kings island is my home park. it rained at CP too that night
The storm made it even more spooky.
Nice vid I at kings island today I was also there yesterday
Thee Undertakers last yr w a mic.😂👏🤦♂️
Mod Mysterio Not for good, I hope. 🎃👻👽
This Is Going To Be The Best 👏👏🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊😊😊😊
I went here recently sadly it was cold and raining and I'm assuming most scare actors left or something because there didn't seem to be a lot of them there especially if you were just walking around the park my group only saw one group of scare actors while walking around the park
If it was raining or wet its most likely the monsters went into the houses or rain locations...as is the uj at some parks i guess...
the lighting adds to haunt
Your videos rock!
Thank you!
18:33 prefect timing....
What a fun vid.
You could see me In this video
Looooooove your video.
Wow! I want to go KI(King Island)
I was there that day!!!
which halloweekend haunt is better? Cedar Point or Kings Island?
Cedar Point King kings islands is to me
Kings Island imo
I have been to both, and I think kings island is better because they aren't limited by land, and have some pretty cool things

@coasterbob62 have u ever been to scarowinds in Charlotte nc
Sad to say I've never even been to Carowinds, so I haven't experienced Scarowinds. I've heard nothing but good things about the park. Maybe someday!
It's a good place to go I would like to go kings island one day
did the houses remain open in the rain?
I believe the indoor attractions remained open.
I'm going tonight!!!
Cadence Renee SAME😂😂
You saw Dinosaur's Alive is going away right? Giga?
Yeah, I heard the news about DA. I happened to be there with my camcorder the day it opened in May of 2011 and was able to make a video -- still one of my most popular. Hope to visit one more time to say goodbye, and maybe hello to a Giga!
Ah man that means as I’m going up the lift hill for fire hawk I️ won’t be able to see that dinosaur that pokes out over the trees 😂😂
I think I was there the next week after u
I honestly thought that the Beast was on THE BEAST
I went there in 2017 and me and my friend waited 45 minutes to get into the kill mart haunted house and as soon as we got up there they had to shut it down
I was there too!

FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Way to many little kids there and the scare actors are terrible.
